If I could do it again, this is how I would do it: step by step down below: 1. 15 minute sauna session 2. 1-2 minute cold plunge 3. 5 minute sauna session. 4. Rinse off and hydrate 5. Relax and go to your tub Cold plunge treatments are so good for your body. They are a little uncomfortable your first time. But if you can repeat it a couple times, you'll get the most out of your experience! 90 minutes doesn't seem like a long time as it goes by fast... so enjoy the relaxation, enjoy the zen, and just appreciate the view and take it all in as it's been yet again, just what I needed! Thank you Sun water spa! 5/5 yet again!

We loved the cold plunge pool and the convince of the clock showing the time. The saline pools were great and it was nice to have the different temps. The pools were a bit close together so great if you have a larger group and want to socialize. Book the private tun for a bit more money if you want privacy. However people were respectful overall and voices were kept low. The only downside was the lack of bathroom facilities. On our floor there were 12 people using 2- 2 shower bathrooms. We only did the soak and I would do other services in the future. The parking situation is on the street and I'm off times it's free for 2 hours. The price was very reasonable. We will definitely be back when we are in town. Services requested were as expected.

She went in for two appointments in the morning and clearly looked like she been crying all night. Between services she was on the phone with the corner about organ donations. They asked her if she wanted to go to her car and take a nap and make phone calls before an afternoon appointment. They do not care about there staff. Just remember when your getting services there, those ladies may be going through something tragic but asked to come do your service anyway. Never get services done by a buisness that treats the employees as slaves. I told my wife to walk far away from that place.

By time I left here I was so relaxed, nothing could have riled me up! He purchased the CBD package for me. It comes with a body wrap, with a 15 minute extra massage (your basically getting a 65 minute massage. They body brush you, massage you with the CBD product, wrap you up, and while that's absorbing, they give you a scalp massage. I appreciated that the masseuse was careful with my hair. I have very curly hair, and she was gentle and assured my hair didn't look crazy after she was done. Then, after that's done, you get a pedicure as well. It's your standard pedicure, but they massage your legs with that CBD product as well. I really felt like everyone paid attention to detail here, and made sure you were comfortable at every moment. I really appreciated that. Since I don't do this often, sometimes I tend to feel a little out of place, but that wasn't possible here. I would come back in a heart beat, and suggest hinting to your significant other they get this for you as a gift. Or! Treat yourself, because self care is all the rage and wildly important if you ask me.

Massage: 5 stars Facial: 5 stars…read moreBooking by phone: 3 stars Checking out: 1 Star Fun fact: locals/non hotel guests can book and use the spa with a gift certificate. My spouse gifted me $1,000 for the spa and told me to bring a friend. My bestie just so happened to be moving across the country this summer, so for our last hurrah, I booked us a couples massage and facials. When I called to make the appointment, I was placed on hold until a supervisor could come on the line to make the reservation. I explained that I had a gift certificate and the amount and asked her for guidance. I told her I'd like to do massages but facials were also an option. Without giving me a price, she booked us the couples massage and what sounded like a couples facial. Turns out, we should have just done the massages in order to spend what was on the gift certificate. Also, the facials were not done in the same room and started at different times. Because of that, I couldn't guide my friend, who had never had a facial before, or tell her that she wasn't beholden to that particular type of facial. I felt so terrible afterward, when she explained the trauma of her facial and the rude things her esthetician said about her skin. However lovely the view from the cattle call--I mean waiting area--was including the falcon perched on top of a pine tree overlooking the golf course, or how many settings and features the bidet had, the biggest let down by far was checking out. I had told the young woman at the desk that I was treating my friend and handed her my credit card, you know, HINT, HINT, PLEASE, whatever you do, DON'T say the total amount out loud! What did she do??? My friend was HORRIFIED at the price tag, which was the absolute worst way to end our spa day. I felt so terrible because the entire situation made us both extremely uncomfortable. What a crappy goodbye and sendoff. My recommendation for the Spa is to train staff on discreetness, particularly with regard to closing out the bill. Also, I've been to many spas but this one had the fewest after-shower amenities, particularly for curly-haired ladies.

When I checked in I was handed a glass of Rose and given a tour of the facility. Oxygen room, sauna, steam room, fireplace room and mountain view room (which was co-ed but I never saw a man there!) Fresh fruit, snacks, and cumcumber or watermelon water privided. I was actually concerned I would get hungry before I finished, but that turned out not to be a problem! I was so relaxed with lighting and music I actually fell asleep during my facial. I counldn't believe I was that relaxed. The pedicure had anti-gravity chair that actually laid me back...making it my mission to find a place in Cincinnati that provides that! Again, wine helped me to relax and enjoy. Everything here was absolutely top notch. Locals can't book appointments...you have to be staying here to participate. It's worth booking a room. Trust me on that! I never felt so pampered.

That being said, massage from Ty exceeded my expectations and is the sole reason why I became a member following the massage appointment which I originally booked as non member. He paid attention to my chronic sports/recreational ailments and aches yesterday by focusing on trigger point releasing techniques. TBH, I was not anticipating such a skilled massage therapist outside of a resort spa/medical environment. Postscript after reading the prior reviews below. I absolutely agree on the website criticisms. It's an awful website. Unintuitive to navigate with misleading narrative that needs to be cleaned up.

The front desk staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, the design/vibe was gorgeous, and I loved the calming wave sounds and infused water. I was honestly considering signing up for a membership because the overall atmosphere was so nice. That said, I was unfortunately really disappointed with the actual massage. My husband paid extra for a deep tissue massage because that is specifically what I prefer. I used to be a massage therapist myself before becoming a stay-at-home mom, so I understand there are different styles and pressure preferences, but this did not feel like deep tissue whatsoever. The pressure stayed extremely light for the entire session and honestly felt more like a light Swedish relaxation massage. What made it more frustrating was that the therapist never once checked in about pressure or comfort throughout the session, which would have given me the opportunity to ask for deeper work. Since we specifically paid extra for deep tissue, I left feeling disappointed and honestly a little upset that the service provided did not match what was booked.
