First time in an establishment like this in over 30 years. Place was okay. Only a $5 cover after 6 pm. Small glass of cold draft was $4. Pitcher was $12. Around 6 girls rotating during the week nights. Around 12 on the weekend. They range from skinny to hefty. Most on the younger side. Lap dances in the darker end of the room were $10 a song. You can get reasonably touchy with them. All I tried were very energetic and flexible. Outstanding was black haired Alaina and Jordan was good if you can stand her laugh. Decent dancers just be careful with the bartender. My friend and I went and we were charged $12 for our drinks. He had only $10's on him so he asked me for $2 which I also only had $10's. So I placed it on the counter and the bartender said "so where's the $2 dollars? Which we told her we have given her a total of $20 now. She said whatever no you didn't but fine take the drinks and took a total of $20 from us. And when we go us to get $30 in singles she took 2 dollars from each me and my friend. 1st reviewer, YES!!! What an honor. America, I'm going to drop the bomb right now. This is the BEST strip club in the U.S.! Let's start with the #'s. Saturday night cover $3! I had to restrain myself from throwing the singles on the ground. $3! A pitcher of Miller Lite? $7!!! You'd pay that much for one beer in many places in the Northeast. Mixed drinks $4. Insane. Now to the performance. Many of the girls here are natural which has it's pros and cons, but the overall rating for the girls here is 7.5-8 with a few 5's and several 9's. The stage is a little small, but the girls use it really well. Several girls have great pole skillz and they all have their own funky attitude. Delightful. Go up to the stage with a single and the girl makes sure you know she appreciates that buck. They are VERY liberal with the touching here. One of the only few drawbacks to this place is that the girls wear bottoms, but there is a good reason for that..... That takes us to the Crown Jewel of the HipHugger, the lapdance. Let me add this disclaimer: If you are married, a lapdance at the HipHugger could easily be considered adultery in a court of law. Basically the rules on touching are: do as much as you want without blatently offending the girl... This club is pretty cool for a small town. I'm from the Washington, DC area so it can't compare to what I'm used to experiencing. Aside from that, cover charge was only $5. I ordered Jack in Coke all night, for myself & 4 other co-workers and the bill was never over $40. Back home that would be at least $8-12 per drink, so that allowed us to tip the waitress and bartender more. The waitress Brandy is a sweet heart, make sure you tip her. The girls are all friendly & likeable. I like that they're playful if they like your style. My personal fav was Holly. You can't miss her, she's the small petite one, who does all the pole tricks. There was also one other that could do tricks during our visit. The others pretty much shake their booty a little and lay on stage while attempting to be sexy. Maybe they do better on lap dances. My only gripes are that the establishment is kind of small, the stage and poles are fairly small, you can only pull out $100 at a time from the ATM (this is a problem for people who bank with major banks, because they will lock your card down for suspicious activity) and VIP areas don't exist. The girls are all pretty good looking and the drinks are cheap but it's total BS that women can go in there, pay the same cover as men, and we're not allowed to play. We're allowed to tip the girls now, but we don't get anything for it. One of the best strip clubs ive ever experienced out here in Kokomo,in. At first I was a bit skeptical that a strip club was close to average reviews on the online ratings(google) but anyways I was passing by to drop off my brother here for a job but when I've heard about a strip club out here in Kokomo so I'd figured I'd go in and check it out. For anyone who's looking to have a good time this is the place to go or just driving by here Kokomo. Here are my pros and cons about this place (pro) the drinks are at great price(got pretty wasted out here) which is a plus and the drinks are within great price range $3 for a glass (beer) to $7 a pitcher. (Con) I've been to a few strip from several different states and never before I've been asked to tip a girl (kinda in a forceful way) well it's a option whether you do or not but in this place normally a girl will finish her dance and you are approached by them if you wanted to tip them on their performance and be prepared to have some singles. I'd didn't mind on my case. (Pro) cover charge pretty good standard $5 which is good on my part.(pro/con) the women are by far most polite and friendly/ I love that but don't expect top models or best looking features like 6-10 hottest girls to be around here but maybe a couple or none at all if your lucky(I was there on Tuesday) Pro/con)private dances are $10 (per song) which was excellent for me and for anyone who's in looking for reasonable prices(plus you can touch) but for anyone else who's uncomfortable being watched by other people while the girls are dancing with you in the corner be expecting that there are no rooms just only chairs laid back against the corner so no private rooms. The unique thing about the hugger is that it doesn't have any regular employees or paychecks or schedule. The girls just show up whatever days they want and they keep everything the guys hand them (somehow this place makes enough from the door and the bar to stay in business). This makes for a very competitive environment and it shows. Girls that are ugly or unpleasant or not permissive have been weeded out because they can't make enough money. It also means that there are always tons of girls, even when the place is dead. The cover is still only $3, but now pitchers are $12. Lap dances are only $10 per song, and considering what you can do it's a real bargain. Tips aren't expected for every girl on stage, but during the week expect girls to make the rounds afterward offering to put their boobs in your face for $1 (kind of a joke since many of the girls have no boobs, but the girls usually dance 3 or 4 songs so a $1 tip isn't unreasonable). You can tip them on stage of course, but don't expect much in return generally. You can also sometimes buy them a drink and they will sit next to you or on your lap and talk to you for about 10 minutes. The girls also come by to talk with you for free sometimes if the place isn't very busy. There is only one stage, but the girls often double up and interact. The pole work is average at best, with some girls putting forth a great effort and some just standing there. Now on to what really makes this place famous: the girls and the touching. The girls are uniformly gorgeous. There are no old or fat girls, although some are on the anorexic side. They all have great faces, but many are lacking in the boob department. There were a few girls though with amazing breasts (fake I'm sure, but very well done). At any rate, these girls are MILES ahead of the girls at other Kokomo strip clubs. They also have good taste in clothing (erotic, but not skanky). And with only a couple exceptions, the girls are very nice and friendly. Some of them can get pushy (when the place is dead and they are desperate to make some money), but that happens at every club. Just politely blow them off. Really though the main reason to go to this club is the lap dances. The girls aren't especially skilled at them, but it's basically a hands on free-for-all. Feel free to grab and squeeze boobs and butts, caress thighs, etc. It's encouraged, really. The only place I didn't go was the crotch, which I assume is frowned upon. My only complaint is that the girls don't really touch you, except of course with their butt. It's the opposite of every strip club I've ever been to. But you'll be so busy touching them you won't really mind. Another strange thing is that at every other strip club I've been to, the youngest guys get the most attention. At the hugger it's the old guys that get all the attention, and there are a LOT of them on the weekend. I guess since the girls work purely on tips, they have to play it smart (most of them are regulars, and they spend a lot). If you go on a weekend, you can go the whole night without even talking to a girl. Stupid really, since I always bring plenty of money to burn. For your first visit I recommend going during the week. The girls aren't quite as hot (relative to the weekend super beauties), but you'll get plenty of attention (and a decent table). And since there are no schedules tons of girls always show up, unlike every other club in Kokomo. You'll have your pick believe me. The only downside is that they will be desperate for money, so expect to get asked about lap dances every 15 minutes. The girls are usually easy to get rid of though. Overall, if you are anywhere near Kokomo this is a place you have to visit. Just understand that if you go on a weekend you'll have to be aggressive if you want attention (although you won't ever be bothered for tips or dances, so it can be very very cheap). If you want a dance, I recommend standing by the bar until a girl asks for a drink, then counter with your request. read more

First off when I went, the girls working were pretty hot and very friendly, not just "stripper friendly" either. The waitress was cute and flirtatious. And when the girls weren't dancing and just needed a break they'd come sit and chat, NOT just trying to hit you up for $$. The beer was cold, and cheap. I didn't get a lap dance so I can't review about that. The only downside was the bartenders' son was trying to pick a fight with me. Stupid. I have been to the Hugger a couple of times now and the first time was a halfway decent experience. This time however it was different all together. The dancers are good I cannot argue that. However, dont expect to find out how good a lap dance is or even get to say hello to any girls unless you are over 40, over weight and grey and balding. We brought a friend there because of the reputation of the bar for his going away party. We had to stand up and physically flag girls down so that they would even come over. we had 4 girls come to the table the entire night (we were there 6 hrs) and only two offered dollar dances and asked if we wanted lap dances. In fact, there were several that we asked to come over as we tipped them on stage, on more than one occasion, they said they would and then walked right past us to sit with thier oDB (old Dirty Ball) guys. In my opinion the girls have $$ in their eyes and if you arent flaunting money they ignore you. The funniest part is that we got to a point that we started sticking the 20s, 50s and 100s in our hats to see if seeing the money would make a difference. I read other reviews and decided to have a fun night out without spending much money. I went on a Thursday and paid a $5 cover. My pitcher of bud light cost $11, so the prices have definitely gone up. As soon as the waitress set my pitcher down, a dancer walked up to me and asked if I was tipping. I told her that I wanted to drink a few beers first, but if she came back around in the bit I would be. She told me to stop being a cheap ass and tip her to which I responded "I have only been here for 2 minutes, and I have yet to have even one drink of beer. I will gladly tip later on." She gave me a dirty look, walked to the guy 2 tables over and told him I was being a "cheap ass." She continued going table to table telling everyone that I was being a cheap ass, and then told the other dancers. When a different girl walked over, I explained my situation to which she was empathetic, but I got up and walked out leaving my full pitcher on the table. I will not return because I truly believe that I did nothing wrong and that tips should be given to girls that are friendly, good at their job, and not demanding money.
