I had a great experience shopping for an engagement ring at Hingham Jewelers. I came with my fiancé to try on different ring styles and ultimately decided on a custom designed ring. The design process was so fun and I was given the time and patience to look at different shapes and cuts of diamond until we decided on the one we loved most. We will be a repeat customer here for something in the future! read more

Hingham Jewelers - The seven emerald diamond band was perfect. - Jewelry Near Me - Hingham, Massachusetts

They are way overpriced, be careful. Went to downsize a ring, the women with the irish accent immediately asked me where I got it? She then tested the diamond to see if it was real. I didn't ask for this and only wanted to downsize the ring. Once she tested the ring, she didn't say anything. I asked what she was doing and she stated, "I tested the diamond to see if it was real. I asked her was it real ? She hesitantly stated, "yes". She then informed me to downsize the ring it would cost $400. A couple days later when it was not ready, I did further research and discovered I was being way overcharged. I went to the store to retrieve my ring and the women said, "We don't have it is with the Jeweler." She then immediately said wait let me double check. She then came back and handed me my ring (she appeared rather upset). I left the store and upon going to the next jewelry store, I was told it only cost $160 to downsize the ring. I told the jewler the $400 price Higham Jewlery store was charging me and he laughed and said, " Wow, I don't want to say to much but they are unbelievable." I would avoid this jewlry store all together. read more

Do not do business with these people. I sent my Rolex Presidential to them for a tuneup. When it was returned they had replaced the diamond face and replaced it with a plain face. They had the gall to charge me for the plain face. Thievery at its finest read more

I cannot say enough about the outstanding experience I had with Hingham Jewlers! My husband wanted me to have the diamond ring I had always wanted, so after some research, I felt Hingham Jewlers was the right place to go. I had a design in mind when I sat down with Chloe during my first visit. We discussed the gems, overall design I envisioned, and what would look best for me. I was able to go into the store and review the stones and setting before the ring was created. I picked up my ring over the weekend and I am beyond thrilled! My ring is exactly what I wanted. On top of the high quality of products from Hingham Jewlers, I always had constant contact with Chloe. I could text her anytime and I always had a quick reply, even during off hours. I highly recommend the entire staff at Hingham Jewlers, Shop Local!! read more

Updated review: I would like to update my review. I recently went in with a friend who was buying a ring. The staff person who helped her couldn't have been nicer. She was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and spent a great deal of time with her. I subsequently returned recently to buy a gift for my niece and had a very positive experience. read more

Guns, gold, and diamonds. Hingham Jewelers got it all! Okay, actually the gun was attached to the security guard they have there, and that should give you a good indication that this is a place that sells quality merchandise. I went there to get a few links on my new watch's band removed, and they did a fantastic job. Service was great. How great? Well, whenever I've gone to have it done at other places, they try to do it in one shot. The result has often been that it's too tight, and there's something about having to add back links that leaves a sour taste in my mouth. But at Hingham Jewelers, the person helping me said that she wanted to do the first pass a bit loose so that she'd have a better idea about how much to do the final fitting. And it came out perfect. That's attention to detail. The layout of the place is great. They have a main level which is their showroom, and then a raised second level which you can peer through the windows where they have an on-site goldsmith. Seriously, how cool is it for a jewelers to actually make jewelry in-house? The other major plus is that they have the cheapest gas in Hingham about 30 meters away at Hingham Gas, so you can get great jewelry/watches/service as well as saving some money at the gas station. That's a win-win. read more

Hingham Jewelers is amazing! I am so obsessed with my engagement ring from here! Heath helped my fiancee pick out the perfect ring that was exactly what I wanted (and better !) The quality work that they do there is very obvious and they seem have only the highest quality diamonds. I have had so many people ask me where I have gotten my ring and referred them to Hingham Jewelers without hesitation knowing they will be in great hands with their knowledgeable staff. read more

Awful customer service. I went in to just get my watch band shortened and I was told by the Salesman that they can but I have to leave it there. Then out of nowhere a very rude woman asks me condescendingly, "what day is it today?". I reply confusingly, "friday". She responds laughing at me "it's a week before Christmas, what do you expect?" As 12 other salesman stare at me while I'm the only one in the store. Pretty sure it takes a simple 3 mins to adjust a watch. read more

Hingham Jewelers has a customer for life! I just had the most amazing jewelry experience with them. I walked in asking about repairs with just over a week before Christmas and was okay with the reality that they might not be able to have the repair done in time. I went back with my husband's necklace and charm to be fixed, explaining how sentimental these items were to my husband and was reassured that they would take the utmost care and attempt to have it back to me in time for the holiday. I was treated with such warmth and professionalism by Emily! And, the woman who expertly repaired my husband's chain (and charm!) did so in just one day! Back in plenty of time to surprise him for the holiday. I have never been treated with such warmth and respect, especially in an industry where it is common to give less attention to customers who aren't spending a lot of money. I am so impressed with the staff, the quality of care given to my husband's items, and I will never forget this experience. I hope that Emily's manager sees this review - she is outstanding and you are very lucky to have someone like her! I dealt with her on all 3 visits and she was nothing but professional and warm. And your repair person is indeed a miracle worker! All the best for a wonderful holiday season. You have made ours that much better! read more

With a gracious, friendly, and humorous staff, incredible knowledge and amazing taste that starts from the top down, and a history of serving this community for generations - no surprise this is THE go to jewelry shop on the south shore. I see locals and celebrities alike in here! Personally, I've been buying gifts for my wife and mom here for years, never a complaint from them or from me. Sometimes I feel like I'm Norm and I've walked into Cheers: the staff remembers my name, last few purchases, and I can't help but feel comfortable. No pressure sales and seems like special orders are never a problem. Recently had a new setting done for my wife's engagement ring for an important anniversary - she is so incredibly happy with the work they did and how quickly we got it back. They're even finding a replacement for a lost earring! Also a regular stop for watch batteries and repairs for my modestly priced wrist watches - as I stare at their stock of Rolex and Swiss Army watches with envy. Stacey and the team are amazing. Can't thank them enough for their efforts and help with my needs and hope many others discover how great they are too. read more

Stacey is truly amazing at what she does. She has an eye for jewelry and design. While I love the rings she did for our wedding, the service was amazing as well. They made sure everything was perfect and engravings done in time even with last minute changes to the wedding do to Irma. I can't say enough nice things. read more

I was very pleased by the level of care and expertise that was provided! I had an issue with part of my chain poking me and they were able to fix it very quickly for me as I was in a bit of a time crunch! Thank you so much! My experience with Hingham Jewellers has been excellent. My watch was severely damaged last winter when it fell off my wrist while cleaning snow from the car and was subsequently run over. Joe was so professional and recommended that I contact my insurance company to see if the damage was covered - it was; thereby saving me thousands of dollars. Highly recommend Joe and the entire team at Hingham Jewellers- thank you! read more

Stacey at Hingham Jewelers went above and beyond for me, especially considering the circumstances (Covid). With Mother's Day and my wife imminently due with our 3rd, I was in need of two unique gifts. Stacey consulted me over the phone, was available via text and worked closely with me for the right gifts (not to mention making a custom ring in 2 days!). We've recently moved to the area and have been looking for "our" jeweler and most certainly have found our gem. Definitely would recommend 10/10! read more

I brought my Tag Heuer Kirium watch in for repair as the clasp would no longer click shut. Several South Shore jewelers would not even look at it. After doing some research online, I was dreading if I needed a new clasp or a new bracelet. Since Hingham Jewelers is an authorized retailer of Tag Heuers, I brought it in. They took my watch, used a few tools and in less than 5 minutes it was fixed. They refused to accept any payment. The gentleman who fixed it, shook my hand and I was on my way. I was figuring to get my watch back on my wrist would've been anywhere from $100-$600 and it was FREE. Thank you Hingham Jewelers. read more

Popped into Hingham Jewelers to have a few pieces of costume jewelry fixed and a watch battery. The service I received was spectacular and quick. Every experience with Hingham Jewelers is a wonderful one. I recently worked with Joe and had a beautiful necklace made from some extra pieces from a tennis bracelet. I had an excellent experience at Hingham Jewelers. Dave, Stacey, and their entire team are beyond professional, and paid attention to even the slightest details regarding the watch I was interested in. They are extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the product, and I simply can't recommend Hingham Jewelers enough. My family has worked with Dave and his team before, I can honestly say they came away from the experience equally impressed. Dave, Stacey, and Hingham Jewelers have certainly earned a family of customers for life. read more

Not only is this place still licensed and certified to sell Rolex watches, it stands behind its reputation of service and excellence. Despite the past robbery here a few years back it is now more secure than ever with a door buzzing system and even a full time security guard. After all it contains one of the largest selections of Rolex and other fine watches and loads of other jewelry selections. In my case I was searching for a speciality Rolex that no other jewelers in the area stocked and this place was the last call I made and they had it. Not only did Dave the owner hold it for me, he ensured it fit and explained the difference between this watch and my previous Rolex. He also took care to provide an on the spot appraisal for insurance purposes. The entire transaction was seamless and easy and comfortable. I would highly recommend this store and I will definitely come back for another watch or jewelry in the future. read more

Stacey is nothing short of brilliant! She worked with my fiancé to design a ring that was better than I could have ever imagined. They are now my go to jeweler for everything. We just bought a ring for my other hand and Stacey was very patient with me being indecisive and even modeled my different options so I could see it on someone else's hand from afar! Loved it. Customer service is top notch as well. read more

First of all Hingham Jewelers is my go to place for those unique gifts that you need for not only special occasions but for yourself too. I along with several of my nieces and nephews visited the store last week looking for a couple of gifts for an upcoming birthday and first communion. I was fortunate enough to work with Joe and he suggested several crosses for which the kids could choose one for their cousin. Needless to say they are looking forward to giving the beautiful cross to their cousin. Once that was done, the kids were able to go to the special children's area that Hingham Jewelers has in the store. While they played with the toys, Joe had the time to help me with my next gift request. One thing about Joe and the entire Hingham Jewelers team is that you can tell them about the occasion for the gift and ideas of what you are looking for and they know immediately what item is perfect for you. Joe helped me find the second perfect gift for which I am very grateful. Hingham Jewelers treats everyone like a close friend. They take the anxiety out of searching for gifts. I think my young nephew said it best, "Can we come back here tomorrow, I like this store". Thank you to Joe and everyone at Hingham Jewelers, you are the best! read more
