We went just to browse around. We already found what we were looking for but we were still in the mood of thrift hunting. They have a wide variety of fall decorations at 50% off and they had some Christmas decorations out already. I didn't see anything that attracted me So we went to the movies and book section. I got two movies. They have plenty of movies and books to choose from. The prices are very reasonable. The staff were very helpful and nice. This used to be my favorite thrift store and I frequented it regularly, along with it being my preferred place to donate because they used to resell for fair prices. But they recently SPIKED prices so high that it no longer makes sense to buy items secondhand. What a shame because I prefer purchasing secondhand and knowing that it's avoiding over consumption and helping a good cause at the same time. But when a used PLUSHIE in a bin of other used plushies are being sold for $30??! Come on! $70 for a lamp?? $45 for used kitchen convenience appliances... and it seemed like I couldn't find a small trinket for under $6. Also, they used to offer the veteran's discount to spouses as well, no longer. These are donated items people. What a shame. read more

I love this place but prices are so high now! $150 for a used Christmas tree!? I also have always received 25% off on Wednesdays with my Military ID and today it was denied because I am a dependent. selection wise there's plenty to look at, from records to books, to clothing and homeware that was nicely displayed. I wasn't greeted walking in but it felt open, and welcoming enough. I really only paid attention to the clothes and was slightly unimpressed. they sort by color not by size making it a time consuming process. it's aesthetically pleasing, but not the most shopable. the prices were reasonable, but i didn't find anything amongst the sea of random sizes. read more

This is one of several thrift stores in Fresno and Clovis for Hinds Hospice. This is a big clean warehouse style space. They had clothes organized by color when I visited, which made it different to navigate. Prices are very reasonable and they have books, sheet music and tons of housewares. read more

Prices have gone up a lot. I thrift often & used to shop here for my baby.. $8 for used baby clothes is hard to justify when I can get a new ones at Target or Marshalls across the street for the same price or less! I love the idea of shopping sustainably & supporting the community, but the current pricing makes it tough to choose this store. read more

Nice enough thrift store in Clovis near Olive Garden. A lot of home decor items and clothing. There's a book/media area to the left as you enter the door. A lot of children's books...cool beans! Big parking lot behind the store (which is actually the front). They take donations on the east side of the building...certain days and hours, so check on that before you take stuff by. Decent prices. Only one cashier, so there was a bit of a wait to pay. She was super nice when it was my turn at the checkout counter. I wanted some plant pots and they had a nice variety of sizes and I found 2 flower pots. I like to DIY things and use unconventional things for other things. This was a good place to find nice random things to repurpose. Prices were pretty reasonable. read more

Used to be a great thrift store to go to but definitely overpriced for the not great stock that they have. Things are overpriced for the condition they're in and I would definitely recommend alternative thrift stores. Shame because they used to be a lot more reasonable. I like this store because it's clean but it's a little high priced on some items like clothing. I notice they price name brand items high. There are no name brands that are better sometimes and cheaper. Why do they mark with sharpie inside the shirt tags? It bleads to the back of the shirt sometimes and looks horrible. Also, $20 for a Starbucks mug at a Thrift store? They are looking at how much these things are going for on Ebay but please teach your staff to see what they actually SOLD for. Just because 10 of them are listed for a high price doesn't mean they sell for that price. Some items here are priced way to high for being used. I still like the store, but it's a hit or miss for me with their prices. read more

I have been wanting to stop by here for a while. It was easy to get to and they have a nice big parking lot. I was surprised when I walked in, it was very clean and organized. The staff were friendly and I felt welcomed. I enjoyed browsing their selections because they were color coordinated and well organized. I was in a time crunch so I didn't get to browse every section I wanted. I was able to grab some nice jean shorts for $4 and a nice summer top for $3. Very happy with my purchase. I had them pick up and I donated 27 boxes of various items, one box full of almost new bras, probably 20 bras. Went to the store 7 days after my donation pick up and only saw one item, a photo box, in the store. Wondering where my donations went. Also drove up to the Madera store and didn't see any of my donated items there either. So where do they take the stuff? Going to call today and schedule another pick up of about 15 more boxes. We'll see if anything makes it to the store. Cleaning out things from my mothers home. Seems there needs to be some monitoring of donations. read more

I stop in here from time to time. Tuesday is senior discount day 15% off. They have lots of men's and women's clothes, dishes, small electrics, craft supplies, furniture, ironing boards, books, CDs you name it! They do have a strict policy about not selling anything without a price tag. Good to keep the dishonesty down. At holiday time they do set up special displays with holiday themed goods. I wanted to support Hines hospice but after driving 30 minutes to the store I learned that while the store is open until 5 PM, the donations drop off stops at 3 PM. And since they weren't going to budge on this rule, I went somewhere else. There's something really arrogant about having a policy like that. My mother volunteered for years at Hinds hospice and it was well managed, but maybe they need different management at this thrift store. read more

Store is overpriced. They have a large selection, but it's hard to justify paying some of their prices. And the owner or manager rarely will workout a deal with me. I resell shoes, and they write on the bottom of the shoe with the worst marker! It NEVER COMES OFF! Please use a different marker, or a sticker. I love to shop around thrift stores for the thrill of the treasure hunt! Hinds Hospice has plenty of things waiting to be found and even more with their new, larger location! The three star rating is due to how long I waited in line! Waited 8 minutes and did not move an inch! Maybe cut back on chit chat and lines will move faster!! This is a pretty big thrift store with the most impressive electronics and sports equipment selection I've ever seen in a used setting. For example, there were tons of big TV's for sale, which were all on (the same channel) to prove that they worked. I have shopped there for years until recently when I was verbally attacked by an employee Maria for being a disabled senior citizen , she screamed at me for five minutes , I found it incredible that a hospice where the disabled go ton die would employee someone that hates them so much. I have donated hundreds of items to them but never again. i am considering an ada complaint to the dept of justice to teach her a lesson. read more

I tried to donate some nice clothing and a Keurig coffee maker. They turned me away because they only accept donations before 4. I was there about 4:15. Oh, well, I will take it to one of the other local charities. Hind's Hospice is a wonderful organization, but its thrift store needs some work. The store has some semblance of organization, but is still very cluttered, especially the furniture and large appliance area. Walk carefully! Clothing is well organized on racks with hangers. Pricing is my greatest complaint. They don't price merchandise to move out quickly to be replaced by newer donations. For example, I found a miniature ceramic house from Dollar Tree ($1.00) priced here at $3.00. I collect board games and found one I was interested in at double the price I can find a new in box copy on Amazon. When I compare this thrift store with the others in the area, such as AMVETS, Salvation Army, and even those horribly-run Goodwill stores, I see there is a different approach to pricing donated goods. And it's not one designed to make money for them. read more

Found some pretty lil things like teacups, table napkins and a few clothes. Some of their prices are a little high, some are good. I was glad I found some clothes that were 50%off that day....a pair of womens size(small) pants and 2 tops from $4 each to $2 ea. The store could need need some organizing especially the houseware and furnitures because they're placed everywhere....some are at the front, side and back of the store. The staff are nice. They're helpful especially that one older gentleman last 1/18/2016 at the counter who made sure all of my purchased stuff are wrapped securedly and placed in a box. read more

There is a lot of stuff here. Most of it belongs in the land fill. You can just tell most of their donations are from folks that want avoid to dump fees, so they bring it here. Everything seems to be broken or missing parts. The few quality, intact, items are WAY overpriced. For example; Men's pants are $8. That's about twice the going price in other thrift stores. Many items have no price tags so you have to hunt down an employee to get a price and they act belligerent that you disturbed them from their shelve stocking duties. Park way behind the place to save your car from getting dinged up. Front parking is tight. read more

Customer service here is terrible. Most employees act like you are bothering them when you ask for help. The biggest complaint I have however is the pricing. Most of the items in the store are priced at or above retail prices. We are talking about products that are dinged up and missing parts still being priced at retail. I would highly recommend shopping at AMVETS or DAV Thrift. Much better pricing there. read more

My wife and I have been here several times, and I think it is the best thrift store in Clovis. If you are looking for a Mens Suit coat, I bought one for about 10 dollars and it looked new. I is a nice place just to browse and spend some time. They have lots of nice books and knick nacks. read more

Probably my favorite thrift store in the area. They have a wide selection of various items; some at reasonable prices, others overpriced. But, the staff are nice and it is a fun place to go "digging", so I'm more willing to pay a little extra for something. It's great. read more
