I wish I could give zero stars. For several years this individual has persisted in sending me unsolicited offers to purchase my home, even though I have repeatedly asked him not to. Today I received TWO pieces of mail from him--both very unprofessionally hand-addressed. They are duplicate solicitations to arrange sale of my home to an "interested builder." For several years I've tried calls, e-mails and returned letters to Hinds asking him to stop contacting me. Yet he persists in pinging me. Will price your home WAY too low just to attract buyers and if its a short sale the banks can balk at the price which means a delay in getting it sold. Regardless, you get screwed in the end. I must admit that initially, I felt that Marcus was dragging his feet as he did not conduct business like other realtors we have used in the past. We are seniors and the majority of the transactions were done electronically with the exception of our first few meetings which were face to face. My friend who recently bought (with 20% down conventional loan) warned me that it took him over a year to finally get a house because the market is so competitive. So, I was bracing myself to not have high hopes about obtaining a home with my FHA loan with a low down payment. But I cannot tell you how glad I am that Bill Davis was my real estate agent!
