I decided that I was ready to buy a home in San Francisco towards the end of 2020 and had a decent idea of my budget and my requirements for a home. As a first time home buyer, I selected and interviewed several buyers agents as I wanted to make sure I found someone who was the right fit for me, and stumbled upon the Level Up Group - home to Johnny and Michael. Our introductory call was so different from all the other agents I had spoken with until that point - it was a video call for one thing. They didn't have me fill out or sign anything prior to the call, nor did they try to push me on units they were trying to sell (this did happen with other agents). 100% of their focus was on my needs and wants - my criteria for house hunting, my timelines, my likes and dislikes, where I was willing to compromise and where I wasn't. This was comforting from the get-go as I knew that I could trust them to have my best interests at heart. Once I decided to move forward with Johnny, who was my primary point of contact, we started to look at places that fit my criteria. I was probably a pickier client than most people so we saw a mix of old and new homes in a few different neighborhoods. Johnny was happy to hunt down spots I might like proactively, but was also quick to set up viewings of places I found interesting online. My wife and I sold our condo with Michael and his team (and it's a formidable team) last month and we couldn't be happier with their service and commitment to selling our home for top dollar, making sure we were part of the process, and being very communicative. When we first met with Michael, he provided a comprehensive binder full of comparables in our area, a list of what he and his team would provide and a solid marketing strategy. Once we signed him up, he set up a weekly telephone meeting so he & his operations manager (Jennifer was AMAZING) could provide updates, hear any concerns we had, and what things still needed to be done with the time frames (always important to me). Woke up this xmas in my new home! Still in the process of moving in and setting stuff up but I'm happy to be here! At the beginning of the home buying process i had no idea who to use. My gf said this guy is awesome and she had great experience selling her old house. So I agreed to meet with Minson and he didn't disappoint. He was friendly and professional. Minson answered all my questions and the house hunting began. We showed him a few house that we liked that were on the market and he came back with a few more similar houses. He was always there when we had questions. He let me know what houses would be expected to go for and he lets us know when sellers are just being too greedy. The actual home buying process took longer than expected but that was just because I had a hiccup along the way. I got hired at a fire dept here in the Bay Area. Banks don't like job changes... However Minson even came to my academy graduation! After graduation the ball got rolling again. Closed on a house less than two months after graduation. My fellow classmate was in the market as well so I passed along Minson's contact info.
