He is incredibly knowledgeable about the areas in San Francisco that we were searching in and helped find listings and get us viewings that we would not have been able to do without him. Clay guided us through the process of putting together our first offer - as well as others up until the best offer - all while explaining to us what to expect, what a competitive offer looks like for the neighborhood and house, and handling all the seller communications and paperwork for us. It was his incredible attention to detail and thorough efforts that helped us land the dream home in Potrero Hill! We cannot thank him enough for this.

In came Michael and his team, who immediately made us feel completely taken care of through every step of the process. From organizing all of the necessary vendors (estate sale, handyman, painters, carpet installers, plumbers, staging) to marketing, listing, showing and, ultimately, selling the home, they were our one-stop partners (and friends!). His team set weekly zoom regroups with us to share relevant updates and progress throughout every step of the process. More timely communication was immediate via text, phone call or email. And they are lovely people! I would recommend Michael and the entire team to anyone looking for a seamless and painless home sale process.

The decision to move our family away from the Bay Area was difficult, but once we had made that decision it was easy to pick Michael. We wanted an agent with lots of San Francisco experience and a whole team to make it a turn-key experience. But it was also important to us to leave in the most ethical way possible. That meant caring for the future owners through honest dealing, and also caring for the building itself. Because we are both architects, we considered it our privilege to have taken care of the 100-year-old craftsman over the years and to keep its original character and charm intact (or restore it where the 70's had been unkind). Michael understood this and never suggested upgrades that would modernize it for the mass consumer market at the expense of its character. Michael partnered with us to tackle the few little upgrades to the house and gardens that pulled it across the line, so that when we sold it at the top of fair market value, we knew it was truly worth it. They worked with us remotely to finish the sale, and it went smoothly from start to finish.

That was a great decision. Strategically, Mary helped us navigate a choppy market to a successful outcome. We initially planned to do a sale of our home once we moved out - full staging, painting, etc. But as interest rates increased and the market started to soften, we accelerated our sale and did an "off market" listing with a "transparent price." Despite increasing jitters among sellers in the Bay Area, we managed to get a great offer and closed on the sale quickly. We NEVER felt pressured by Mary - it consistently felt like she had our best interests in mind as we decided whether or not to take the offer. She left the decision up to us, but guided us with her candid thoughts along the way. Logistically, the entire team made everything so easy. They brought a crew over to spruce up the house. They packed away personal items for us so the house looked great. They even went to Target for us to buy plastic bins to store our belongings. It was a breeze all because of Mary and her team. They were responsive, understanding, and great to work with. Mary isn't a "shark" like so many other real estate agents. Those agents might find success in the short run, but they aren't right for our family. Mary is a good person who we genuinely trusted with our most valuable asset.

I wish all realtors would operate the way this team does. I helped a friend with early dementia to interview realtors to sell her house in Oakland, a sad situation that required the compassion and experience that only realtors with years in the business could possess. From our first interview with T&T, my friend and I knew they were the people she needed (we'd done two other interviews). It was a great fit: Anet and Pat understood my friend's worries and her limitations. They came to every inspection. They discovered a hitch in the title and got that cleared up early on. My friend was very concerned about what she'd do with all her things--she was moving across country to assisted living. No problem: Anet and Pat suggested a contact who would oversee a sale of the contents and help empty the house. My friend gave a sigh of relief. It was a huge burden lifted. And that's how the entire transaction went: T&T held my friend's hand, made sure she got the best deals on inspections and repairs, and worked with a deadline provided by the family. After my friend moved, Pat and Anet immediately implemented their plan: the house was transformed, updated, painted, floors done, and staged. Sure enough, it garnered 9 offers, 6 of which were all-cash. My friend netted hundreds of thousands of dollars more than she expected. I can say this: Pat and Anet will never let you down. They will fight for you, negotiate, adapt, and oversee every last detail. Plus they're a pleasure to work with and complement each other beautifully. You will not be disappointed.
