A lot has changed about the place since then but it's still essentially the same. They have the usual things you'd expect of a library - childrens section, reading chairs etc. New additions to the library include Internet access, the 1881 National Census, photo scanning, word processing, e-mail and colour printing which are all available free of charge. There is a small car park to the rear. It's a lovely little local library which is worth a visit.

It's a smallish library, but there's a great selection of books, and a good study area with all the reference books to hand. The computer terminals are all internet connected, you just need to get yourself a password. You're only allowed an hour online if there's a queue (and there often is), but hey it's free! The librarians are always friendly and helpful too. The only thing that's missing is Sunday opening and a coffee shop. ;-)

I myself like books on nature and the wild and some of the books i found were to me uterally amazing. They have such a range on all types of books, and they also have the computers which can be handy for doing a bit of work.

Inside i am always suprised as to just how quiet it is. But due to its vast size im sure any sounds just dissipate. Some of the lighting if i remember correctly is very orangy, weird becasue it doesnt actually affect your reading. They also offer computers which you can use for a small aount of money. They also offer rental of some cd's and dvd's too which is a great addtion. If your into books or need to do research this is the place for you!

Its quite dull though, could do with cheering up a bit and I think that it could do with a few more books as the range isnt as large as it could be. However if you're just looking for what ever takes your fancy, then it's a great place to go. It is nice and quiet plus they have some computers there, so it's an excellent place to work or study and you can pop to the Morrison's for some lunch. The staff are nice and friendly too. They have a photocopier there and they can reserve and order in books (for a small fee). It also a nice place to take your children and get them into reading.

We would sit in there practically for hours on end reading books, we practically begged our mum to go down there with us so she could let us join the library, she eventually agreed. We would usually get the maximum amount of books out that we were allowed and weirdly enough read them all before the week was up. They have a little table where we would occasionally sit and do our home work. You could loan books, magazines, baby toys and video tapes (probably DVD's now as well). I remember the staff always being really friendly.

It is very well stocked, and more obscure titiles can be booked and ordered from other libraries in Warwickshire for a nominal fee. The staff are very helpful and genuinely know what they are thalking about. It is really nice to be able to engage in a discussion about books with the staff- when they have the time and few customers.
