A must-stop in Sheridan, WY! We stopped here while traveling through in our RV, and it was hands-down one of the best meals of our trip. Every dish came out fast, hot, and full of flavor. Highlights for us were the Okra, Yellow Daal, Garlic Naan, Butter Chicken, Saag Paneer, Goat Curry. The saag here is done right. You can actually see and taste the vibrant spinach. My kids loved the Butter Chicken and rice so much we had to order more! Service was fantastic. Our server handled the whole dining room effortlessly and was amazing with the kids (the crazy straws in their cups were a huge hit!). We were too full to try the momos or different types of naan, but the leftovers make great food for the road. Compliments to the entire team- we're still raving about it miles down the road! read more

Outstanding. Maybe the best Indian food I've ever had. The service was also fantastic. We'll be back. Try the momo. read more

We came here while visiting from out of town because of the reviews, and the reviews don't lie. This is INCREDIBLE Indian food. The vegetable pakoda was so delicious. You absolutely can't go wrong with their butter chicken and garlic naan. The service was friendly, but you can tell that it's a small business so be patient, the food is worth it! The vibes are family friendly and relaxed. I always appreciate going to dinner in a quiet enough place to be able to hold a conversation, making this the perfect spot! read more

The food was very good. I did carry out and there was a 15 minute wait for the food. The place is spotless and surprisingly many open tables on a Friday. Momos and the Chan Marsala were great. read more

After traveling through Wyoming we were so happy to find some great ethnic food! The service was excellent with the staff very friendly. It's a local favorite and you can get that small town feel with seeing everyone knowing everyone here. It's a large place, clean, and well lit. It's just a mile from the great Sheridan Inn where we stayed and were recommended to eat. read more

Great Indian food. They have best Naan that was so fluffy and perfect. We were such big fans. The butter chicken is really sweet. The Tika Masala tasted very similar but with a more robust tomato flavor. This is on the rotation when we stay in town and continues to be great year after year. read more

Fantastic Indian food - not just for Sheridan Wyoming, but for just about anywhere. Service is courteous and relatively fast. I judge Indian restaurants based on three things: Masala Chai, Butter Chicken, and Chicken Tikka. All are excellent here. Another outstanding house specialty is the Tandoori Chicken. Truly exceptional. The way they do Korma and Rogan Josh isn't to my taste, but that's how it works - you know what you like from where. read more

Who knew you could find amazing authentic Indian food in Sheridan, WY???? This was the best Tikka Masala we've had in 5+ years. The Daal soup was also incredible. P.S. great service too read more

These owners came over from Las Vegas market. Their food is top-nottch. Fresh, tasty and fast swrvice. The place is not much to look at front the outside, but inside is very clean. Spotless bathrooms. The food is right there with the best Indian cuisine I have had ANYWHERE! I would say this is the best prepared food in Sheridan, hands down. Try it. You will not be disappointed. read more

An incredible gem on our roadtrip out to Yellowstone. We didn't expect an Indian place in Sheridan WY but it was the perfect rest stop lunch for us! The goat curry and paneer korma were delicious, and we loved the samosas as appetizers. The duo that run the restaurant were friendly and attentive, too. We wish them the best as this new restaurant and maybe hotel! read more

Absolutely thrilled to have this incredible food available in our little town! Yay!! We started our meal with a samosa chat appetizer that was perfectly seasoned, creamy, crunchy, and just the right level of heat. We each ordered entrees to share, Lamb Vindaloo, tender, flavorful... delicious! Saag Paneer was creamy and spicy...with spinach and cubed paneer. A wonderful dish that is healthy and a little bit naughty as well! We enjoyed each entree with perfectly cooked basmati rice and amazing garlic/basil naan. Service was exceptional! We cannot wait to return to try everything on the menu! Definitely recommend! read more

I am a truck driver from MS and was loaded headed to KS when I stopped to rest for New Years. Not having a good way to get any special treat for my evening I was grateful to find Himalayan Kitchen on yelp and more so that they offered delivery via Door Dash. Normally I try to include pictures but honestly was tired and forgot. So let's say the website was easy to navigate, all was described and delivered as described which is always desirable. BUT HOW DID IT TASTE!?! It was fantastic! I ordered my goto Veggie Biryani and Chana Masala. I opted for spicy. The Chana Masala came with a nice side of rice. Portion size was generous. Spice profile rich with flavor and very fragrant. Chana was good but the STAR goes to the Biryani. It was one of the top ones I have had in my travels. A real 5 star treat. While I do eat meat I have really been eating more vegetables and veggie based meals lately but if I were to base my dish as a foundation I bet the meat versions would be flavorful and delicious. So I highly recommend giving this place a look. I wish I could have found a way to eat there but with takeout like this I was very pleased and maybe I will make it that way again. read more

The food here is amazing and consistent! The service is awesome and everything on the menu is good.

Stellar Indian cuisine here at Himalayan Kitchen. I've been to quite a few Indian restaurants throughout the West and this was easily the most flavorful and well-balanced. I always crave my Indian food to be outrageously spicy and volcanic and this joint gave me just that when I asked for it, very appreciated! In a town where you can really only get decent burgers, steak, and pizza, Himalayan Kitchen was fresh and vibrant. Highly recccomended. read more

Wonderful. Great seasoning and great potions. Excellent selection of dishes. Passing thru on I-90. Will visit again.

The food is excellent. I had the vegetable samosas, it came with a spicy mint sauce and a tamarind sauce and it was very big. The garlic basil naan, so fresh and perfect, lamb coconut korma and lamb rogan Josh. Both delicious and you get a lot. Spice level 3 had a slight kick, 5 was decidedly spicy. Mango lassi also good. The server is warm, friendly, obviously lives food and is proud of his food. Nice Indian music at the perfect volume, very high ceilings. Unfortunately, the ceiling was accoustic tile and industrial fluorescent lights for lighting. Prayer flags and a image of the Taj Mahal (too small for the space and hung too high) were the only decor, but the space was not bad - lower walls painted red, red cloth napkins, it was clean, the music and Prayer flags were nice - not fancy but ok. Wish I could decorate for them! You also enter the restaurant through the door for the Trails End Motel - very retro looking 2* motel. But what matters here is the food, and it's great and worth the price. Entrees are $15-20. Breads and appetizers $4-6. If you are near Sheridan, Wy, this is the place to go!! read more

Not much ambiance, but the food and service were both great. The four of us ordered family style and enjoyed the vegetable samosas, cheese naan, basil garlic naan, and then medium spicy four our four orders: chicken vindaloo, chicken saag, lamb korma, lamb tikka masala. read more

What a delightful find in Sheridan. The restaurant is not in the downtown area but worth the few minute drive. My husband and I shared an appetizer and Tandoori chicken dinner. Both were flavorful, nicely prepared and the dinner was definitely enough for two people. Nice servings. The owners, staff were great. Definitely a restaurant you should try if you like authentic Indian food. read more

Absolutely delicious food! We had the chana masala, butter chicken, garlic naan, and a mango lassi. Everything was seasoned and flavored just right, and the mango lassi was the perfect balance of sweet and sour. I rarely post a review, but this place was an unexpected delight in the middle of Wyoming! read more

Delicious authentic Indian food and friendly staff! I got the Curry chicken and lamb samosas, very good stuff!

Always a pleasure to dine here. Family-friendly atmosphere and courteous service. The food is some of the best in town and rivals the flavors of anything you could find in a big city! read more

I was on a work trip to Sheridan and I was looking for a vegan option for dinner...I happened upon Himilayan Kitchen and my mind was blown away. Himalayan Kitchen - Part of lamb Somosa, butter chicken & garlic naan! - Indian Near Me - Sheridan, Wyoming

Great food! Now I wouldn't expected Sheridan to have my new favorite Indian food, but I was proven wrong. From the moment you walk in you can smell the aroma and spices in the air. The service is great, checking on you and even starting conversations. Now the food was amazing! There was so much flavor and the spices want together so well! If you're in Sheridan definitely try! read more

We have enjoyed the Himalayan Kitchen twice now and look forward to going again. The staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful. The food is plentiful and the taste is fabulous. You can adjust the spice level from 1-5. We definitely recommend it! read more

Wow, wow wow couldn't ask for better chow...Outstanding food, service, and setting! Will definitely be back time and time again!

The food is great, minus a star for high prices. My lunch was $30 w tip. You need to do a lunch buffet for $15-20. The service is good but it takes more time than most people have during lunch, unless you're a realtor, banker, or a member of the non-working yoga pant nation. Buffet would spend things up. read more

Wonderful food and beverages. Their vegetable samosas are the best I've ever had. Love that we have this restaurant in Sheridan. Great customer service. read more

Amazing food! Absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend. Garlic naan was so good. Went with a large group and had good service.

This was incredibly delicious food at reasonable prices! Great service too, staff were very friendly and we were promptly seated and served

We were excited to try this new restaurant, and it didn't disappoint. Don't let the relative lack of ambiance (the restaurant is co-located in a motel and has sparse decor) discourage you. The food is excellent. From the fresh naan in different flavors to the pakota appetizers, you can't go wrong. The staple Indian/Nepalese dishes - tikka masala, curries and tandoori chicken are well executed, and perfectly spiced (they're happy to adjust the levels for you). The service is great, and the owners are friendly. Do yourself a favor and check this excellent restaurant out. read more
