Hotel staff very nice and love the fact that it had microwave and fridge in the room.. definitely was spacious enough for the 3 of us. Also liked the fact that they have a little bar downstairs and an indoor pool however we didn't get to enjoy bc it was still closed ... Room on the verge of being outdated with the chipped painting & decor... i would stay again if need be I guess but it looks like there maybe some other nicer hotels on the Main Street .. as this was not but still in a good location.

I needed a place to stay the night, there's a lot of hotels in the area but I chose Hilton because of brand recognition. The room smelled awful. The ceiling fan in the bathroom was so caked in dust that it sounded like an engine. Otherwise employees was nice. And they have a pretty decent breakfast spread. Also plenty of parking with easy access to the hotel.

This is really a customer service focused Hilton, rooms are clean, staff friendly and knowledgeable of local attractions. The wait staff in the restaurant is fast, friendly and attentive. This location is accessible to Downtown Historic Frederick, shops, restaurants. Our room was clean, fresh new towels and no issues with housekeeping. I'd recommend this location for your stay. It's always nice to have them check us in early.

Why are there rolls of carpet in the middle of the parking lot?

I fortuitously stumbled across the Hollerstown Hill B&B and they had exactly one room left: the Queen Anne. Since Frederick is one of our favorite small towns in the general area, with several truly excellent restaurants and always something happening, and because the B&B's location is very central and the pricing reasonable, I went ahead and booked it. And I am so glad that I did! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our hosts, Betty and Phil. They showed us around the various common area rooms, including a large sitting room, a game room, a dining room, and a the large wrap-around porch. And invited us to use their coffee maker or grab a cold bottle of water, soda, beer or wine from the refrigerator. And then they showed us up to our room. The Queen Anne room is fabulous, with lots of light from the large windows, a King bed, two drawing chairs, an armoire, a sink/dressing area and a separate toilet and shower. Overall I have nothing but amazing feedback on our hosts and our accommodations, but if Victorian decor and dolls aren't your thing or something you'd be amused by -this may not be the place for you. Although in that case, there will be more of Betty's scrumptious chocolate chip oatmeal cookies for those of us that enjoy a truly memorable experience!

Their home is over 100 years old and well kept. Their home is a historic Victorian with a lot of collectable decor. It's fun to spend a night or more here for a cozy and personable experience. We had no problem parking out front. They have snacks, beverages, wine, beer, a library, pool table and a porch out front for a nice breeze during weather appropriate months. The home is about half a mile from downtown where there are amazing restaurants and cute shops.

I'm currently staying at this inn. I purchased my room via Priceline & decided upon staying here…read morebased on the pictures online. It looked pretty decent and it was affordable. Upon first glance, the inn on the outside does not give luxury, let's just start there. It's definitely renovated, which is cool, but don't expect it to be an extravagantly amazing place. It gave a bit of a motel vibe. I'm not fond of motels, but I still wanted to be optimistic about everything. If you're hungry, don't worry about finding a place to eat. This place of stay is surrounded by restaurants that were all walking distance. I arrived here a little before 10pm, and it was rather difficult to find parking in the front of the building, which I honestly suggest you try your best to do. I circled the building at least twice, trying to find a decent spot. I THOUGHT I found a good spot towards the entry point of the inn. I parked and started to get out only to find broken glass EVERYWHERE! Definitely looked like someone's car was broken into very recently. I immediately got into my car and parked in another spot. Once inside, I was greeted by a member of the front desk staff. She was pretty nice and polite. She took my ID, card and asked for my car description (which I'm not used to people asking about my car, but I figured it was for security purposes). I asked if there were any rooms on the second level and the clerk said there were. She handed me my key card and I headed towards upstairs. Found my room and went in. It was a standard room, nothing super fancy. I have a refrigerator and a microwave. The television has standard cable channels, so no logging in to your Netflix or Hulu here, unless you bring your own laptop or watch from your phone. There's a wall air conditioner, which I'm not a huge fan of, if you are a person that gets hot often, this option is available. The bed was a nice king sized bed. Firm and clean. As I lay here, I can tell you that it is quite comfortable. I thought there was only a sheet on the bed and immediately regretted not packing my travel blanket. But once I pulled the sheet back, I realized that it was a weighted type of sheet. Although I do appreciate the clean sheets and pillows, everything smells like bleach. Heavily. It's a bit overwhelming, to be honest. But hey, it's clean! The bathroom is okay & the sink has a few upgrades. The tub could definitely use some renovation. It's just old. The tub material is that hard plastic that yellows over time. The shower head needs caulking around the base. I did like that they provided soap, shampoo and lotion, that's a plus. The biggest con of this place is the NOISE! This place is just not for light sleepers at all- and I'm not even a light sleeper! I can hear EVERY stomp and door slam. The doors slammed throughout the night, and it woke me up a few times. The walls aren't the thickest. The refrigerator has a quiet buzzing sound, so if you're sensitive to that, just be aware. It also occasionally made a loud noise (maybe coming from the freezer part, I'm honestly not sure). Also, when I was running the hot water while freshening up, the pipes behind the shower made a loud thunking noise. It was odd, but stopped after about five or ten minutes. All in all, this is a place to stay for the night, not for leisure, not for pleasure- for one night! It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't the best. Would I stay here again? Probably not, but I do recommend it if you need a quick place to lay your head. 2.7 stars for the convenience.

Pros: -Within walking distance to bars and restaurants in downtown Frederick -Great service -Nice clean bathroom -the restaurant on site, Wye Oak Tavern, feels like you're in a church with high ceilings and pretty architecture steeped in history -Easy parking -Valet offered -free candy by the front desk! -filters water stations around the hotel -lattes and pastries in the cafe were delicious Cons: -Thermostat was inconsistent and not very responsive; the room was warm and stuffy at times -getting in/out of the hotel felt like a maze -if you're bringing a gaming console, Marriott box causes latency -pillows were super soft, could be a tad bit more firm -TV was poorly mounted to the wall (we found a crumpled paper towel in the back used to line it up to the rack) -if you're a light sleeper - church bells can be heard in the morning even though we were farther away from it than other rooms Overall I'd stay here again. Seems like the only hotel in the area that doesn't require you to drive to the bustling parts of downtown

I'm a bit on the fence about this hotel…read more I arrived at 11am, ahead of 4pm check-in. I used valet parking, as street parking on a Sunday was impossible and valet was very convenient. It took only a couple of minutes to fetch my car when needed. There was a gentleman that helped carry my bags up the stairs, and to the registration desk inside. Once I got to the reception area (one staff member behind the desk), I was told that to check in before 12pm there's a $100 fee, if I checked in between 12pm and 2pm there's a $50 fee, and after 2pm there is no fee. I was here for a staycation so I decided to check-in at 2pm after brunch and a movie. They have limited space to store luggage, so I had to call for my car and store my luggage there, then have them park my car again. When I returned at around 2:30pm, I was told the bridal/presidential suite was actually a cottage furthest away from reception/main building and that the valet would park my car right outside the cottage for my convenience. When I walked down to the cottage I noticed the keycards didn't have any branding on them - and they also didn't work, so I had to rely on my mobile key instead of walking all the way back to the front desk. My first impression of the cottage was that the building was visibly older and there was a slight smell that lay witness to its age. There was also no sound proofing as I could hear a bell ring every 15 minutes nearby and I can hear cars driving by in the bedroom. The thermostat was set to 82° in the bedroom and 73° in the sitting room. It was HOT! The chain on the front door was broken and the door to the semi-private outdoor space didn't seem to secure (but I'm also paranoid about those things). I also noticed that the TV in the bedroom worked, but the TV in the sitting room wouldn't turn on. I spent most of my time at the hotel reading in my room, so I didn't get intel on all of the benefits of the suite such as the fireplace lights that look like candles and the dining options at the hotel, but I liked that the cottage was closer to the street so I had easy access when walking to restaurants. When preparing for bed and spending some time in the bathroom, I couldn't get warm or hot water from the sinks. It just ran cold, but the tub was able to run warm/hot-ish water. I didn't test the shower since it had a rainfall shower head and I didn't bring any shower caps. The towels were just OK, but the bed was super comfortable and hard to leave in the morning. This hotel has some kinks that need to be worked out. It would be great if they could have more than one person at the reception desk in case someone needs to step away. I was locked out of my suite after I requested late checkout and no one was at the desk to answer the phone. I had to walk all the way there and wait for someone to return to assist. I don't typically visit Frederick often, but if I were to return I would prefer a more modern hotel that is priced reasonably. Providing high end services and clean and detailed accommodations would help to justify the price, but it seemed that this hotel was cheaply renovated and cheaply furnished and provided limited services for guests.
