Work counter in lobby with Zero electrical outlets or USB ports.

Tub dirty Mattress was horrible. Like a summer camp or dorm room bunk bed. No coffee in lobby Offered to pay for it but, I was told they cannot make a pot at night per corporate orders... or so the desk clerk said. (Bartender made it on the sly ... hope he does not get in trouble.) Out of hair conditioner in room. Entire hotel out of the plastic dirty laundry bags for rooms. But here is the one you won't believe if you travel for business. Zero electrical outlets or usb ports on the work desk in lobby. That is correct. You have to sit in a chair or booth along the wall to power or charge your laptop, iPad or phone. Unbelievable. No USB ports in room at all. Will try a Marriot property on future trips to the Covington area. There have to be better options. Update: No free breakfast. Bowl of self-serve cereal was $2.20

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and it was great. This stay was not the same experience. Our room was old and not well maintained. The drawers didn't close at all, our bathroom door would not shut close, so (no real privacy) and the mini fridge froze our drinks. The customer service was good and everyone was friendly. I was surprised when my family and I went to eat breakfast. They offered a continental buffet breakfast for $8 and a $12.95 made to order breakfast, what they don't tell you is that it only covers the eggs anything else such as bacon, potatoes, sausage are sold separately. (Crazy) I would have went to IHOP a couple of buildings down if I would have known. I was disappointed with our stay. Won't be staying here in the future.

Well just hung up with the Manger Cathy and I've been trying to deal with our stay since December 27-29, 2019. A survey was sent to me by email two days after we left this property. On January 2 I responded. On January 3rd I got a response by email from guest services. I responded asking for an email address I could mail pictures to. Never hear again. II sent pictures on January 16, to the email that was on the response from January 3. Hopefully I'd get a response NOPE. NADA, NOTHING. So on January 23, I called a phone number and spoke to Christine at Guest Services for Hilton. She said she sees my email that was sent with pictures on the 16th of January. Said she'd forward them but no response ever occurred. So two days ago I call the Covington location now to talk to the general manager Cathy that day but she had left for the day. Today I finally speak to her and she tells me she never got the email with my pictures. Said the grounds are like they are because they lost their ground keeper. These grounds looked like this in May of 2019. Here's pictures of the emails and dates. And if the horrible grounds. I traveled with our White dog a little Maltesse and she could walk because the grounds were filthy. See for yourself. Won't stay here again two strikes and you're out. I have tried to add photos and I am not allowed. Wonder why??

Looks like a blood stain that should require for covering to be changed, but wasn't.

Hands down the most disgusting hotel I've stayed in!! I've stayed at many Hilton's in the past, including our of the US, and NEVER have I dealt with such a disgusting room. On one of our mattress theres what looks like blood on the head and side of the mattress, and there was nasty little black bugs all over the restroom!! I have videos of everything, I came for a wedding and my stay was from 7/30/21-8/2/21 in room 321. I just want a refund, I would expect this from a motel 6, but not a Hilton!! I definitely would not recommend anyone to stay here!! Definitely a health hazard, they need to shut this place down and bomb it!!

Yuck this was who was meeting me upon my arrival.

Met late in the evening with this little critter chilling right on top of the bed! Add to that the fridge had leftovers in there for who knows how long. The leftovers now reside in the hallway and I have another room. You need to train your housekeepers! This is completely unacceptable

Everything is great except the beds. They were horrible and hard. Not up to Hilton standards.

Our only negatives, the foam topper on the mattress was too short so it was pulled down to the bottom for aesthetics, I guess.

Linda (the owner) gave us a fair&unbeatable price for the Larger poolside suite despite it being Mardi Gras, Valentine's day, as well as it being the weekend when we arrived. Linda was a DOLL! She took care of us, fluffed our room when we were out & reloaded our fridge with breakfast daily. She showed us around the place and welcomed us like family. I truly felt like I was at mom's house. True southern hospitality. We had a few good talks about the history of her house and her life as she once lived in New Orleans. My fiancé enjoyed talking with Linda as New Orleans is where he was born and raised. Despite our talks, Linda does not hover! Which was so appreciated, when you're on a "romantic"vacation. We had our own privacy during our stay as each suite is separate and inaccessible from where Linda stays in her home. We came and went as we please and used the hot tub at night as late as we wanted. We had our own private entrance, which was incredibly nice. The privacy was appreciated as I didn't know what to expect when we first arrived, but I was prepared to be open minded. I think I will always choose a Bed and Breakfast over a lousy hotel in the future. The rooms were grand and clean. The bathroom was nice and the shower as well. Everything was clean. Its just an old house, but I loved the cottage vibes. It was home-y. The town is walkable and cute! A Mardi Gras parade came right through down the street, during our last day there, which was nice. The poolside porch and hot tub made me feel like I was at a resort. The beauty of the home is breathtaking! Romantic cottage vibes! Perfect for couples or even a small girls trip. I will definitely be back to Linda's next year when we visit again for Mardi Gras. Linda has made me never want to stay at a hotel again.

Corey is an amazing human being and absolutely refused to let me wheel my wheelchair across the street to the proper hotel! He is the epitome of a customer service professional! Little did he know, due to my health conditions, he saved my life in doing so. I am forever grateful and will be staying with them from now on when in town! Instead of being ridiculed and bullied by the general manager at my original hotel NOT Holiday Inn for being handicapped, I actually switched. Precious Peter was so gracious as to help me with my luggage and help get to my room. I didn't have to ask much less beg like at other places. The general manager made me feel like family! If I could give 100 stars I would! Empathy, excellence, kindness AND impeccable rooms!

The booking experience was easy, and they will automatically ask if you want to join their rewards program to get a better price. I was given the approximate cost of my stay and booked it up. You can check in online and give an approximate arrival time. I chose 6pm, but at 11am that day, i was notified my room was ready. I still didn't arrive until six, but that was nice to know had my arrival time changed. They need to replace the sign along the highway pointing you to the hotel as the one they have is faded, and the street sign is not too visible, but it's easy enough. There is a spacious parking lot with plenty of parking near the door. Check in was easy, i just showed my ID and was given my card. The front desk employee was really friendly and welcoming. My king room was large and roomy. It was your typical room - bed, tv, fridge, chair, desk, closet (no safe), Krueig set up, the basics. There is no in-room microwave, rather, there is one per floor by the elevators and vending area. I had to turn the fridge on, so be sure to check that if you anything that needs to be kept cold. The bathroom is super tight for space. I mean, uncomfortably so. I was travelling solo, so i only had my things, but to get to the shower, you had to walk all the way in to close the door to walk around the toilet to get in the shower. I think that was a poor design. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. There was no road noise because you're about a block or so from the highway. While not the hotel's real fault, I was somehow placed among three rooms of young ladies attending a wedding who came back around midnight and were extremely loud with opening and closing the loud doors and yelling in the hallway. Not easy on the ears knowing I had a 4am wake up call for my race, but I didn't call to complain, and probably would have gone into the hallway to let them know had it gone on more than 15 minutes. I had to check out around 5:30am, and the restaurant looked like it was open, so that's nice. There was a note that the front desk person would return soon, but they have a key box, so i just dropped mine in there and headed out. The website says the pool is closed for maintenance with no expected reopen time, but I didn't try to go see if that was still accurate. Also, the price ended up being about $3 more than what my estimated price was, but no big deal, just be aware if you are expensing it for a trip. There are several restaurants and stores nearby, and downtown Covington is just a short drive away. Go a little further South, and you can explore the beautiful Mandeville lakefront area. The Northshore area truly is beautiful.
