Gym hotel I give it two stars because no a/c. The sauna and pool is not free to use for hotel guests. Carpet looks old. Im only happy with the location.

Arrived early and went straight to hotel to check luggage as rooms weren't yet ready but used the lounge to decompress after flight and Uber. Check in was fairly simple - but later on we did have a number of snafus!! Our room was apparently the same as another family's as I found out when my room key wouldn't work for the assigned room! Then I went back down again and they coded me for another room - which again the room key did not work! You would think they would have been a bit more recalcitrant and give us another room, but that didn't happen. Clean room and housekeeping staff were very amenable to bringing extra towels and not knock on doors too early!! We had the Dome view and upgraded to the executive lounge use and it was such a lovely way to vacation with our friends in for Laver Cup! We even watched the last match on the lounge TV screen while having some tea! They do r out out the wine and beer and Prosecco (which was tasty!) until 6pm daily, so that is the only negative comment I have about the lounge. The tub was quite high to get in and out of (I'm 5'0" and friend is just a bit taller and we both had trouble getting out) - wished was a shower only room which I understand is available. The glass shower door also didn't quite cover the space so we had to have extra towels to use for the wet floor. We were on the 6th floor and had a lovely view. Concierge recommended a great breakfast place on our first day as we arrived 8am from the states and wanted to walk!

I'm enjoyed this hotel so much! The service is absolutely top tier and all the staff are great! From Welcoming vibe of Santiago checking me in and getting me situated, the executive lounge staff and breakfast staff Nassim has an for bussing and making sure I got the things I wanted and to eat and drink. To Hakan for checkin me in too! And Lisa for getting me set to the beautiful poool! The restroom downstairs is clean and great! I enjoyed going to the club next door at night 2am-4:30am All staff was superior! Great location from trains and markets and tours! Highly recommend! Great Wi-Fi and roooms so welcoming! I can't wait to come beach

We had the most amazing stay here over Christmas and New Year's! It was beautifully decorated for the holidays and all amenities were great. Aside from not receiving upgrades as I would've hoped for as a Gold member, they did give us a few perks to make up for it. Wished we could've been given complimentary access to the Executive Lounge for both of our stays, but we did receive it for Christmas Day at least: The staff is excellent and kind. What we enjoyed the most were the location, the brunch (!), and the size of the family room. WOW! While not cheap, we felt like we received more than what we had paid for. The brunch buffet is amazing and was the best perk I have experienced as a Gold/Diamond member. Try to sit near or under the glass dome for the best effect. I loved the access to the ice machines, the mini bar, and the spa and gym are fabulous. I would stay here again on our next visit: the location can't be beat. Just wish the Gendarmenmarkt construction was done when we were there, but perhaps next time.

Lemme start by saying the view was absolutely amazing. Overall we had an amazing experience in Berlin and the location of this Hilton was perfect. It was Just within walking distance of many local restaurants and famous tourist sites. The one thing that was lacking was their service. I've stayed at many Hilton's and their customer service was lacking. Still, however, I would recommend this hotel to any first time Berliners trying to see the beauty of the city.

My stay here this week was amazing. This is my second time staying at the same hotel. This time, I stayed from 24 Octobr to 29 October. Before my arrival, I had a tough time traveling to Berlin due to flight cancelations. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by two very pleasant and professional Hilton team members, Michaela and Jona, the manager. They took the time to listen to my unpleasant travel and past saty at another rival hotel in Germany. As a Diamond member They ensured they had a room readily available for me, and it would meet my needs. The view from my room was amazing, the room was OUTSTANDING! I honestly believe if I wasn't Diamond status,  they would take the same energy and find a comfortable room for me because they are in the hospitality industry. So, I take my hat off to them. They are an example of what Hilton stands for. They represented the Hilton brand. There were two other Hilton team members as well and I am sorry I didn't get their names, one female and one male whom were also around during my arrival and the rest of my stay that always greeted me. (They know who they are). This team made me feel like I was truly an honored guest. The hotel is more than 5 stars from the amenities to the executive lounge and the bar staff. They were all a pleasure to be around. This hotel is one hotel that I can honestly say is a favorite of mine along with the Waldorf in Washing DC and the Hilton in Malta. Other hotels in the Hilton brand should take time to visit these locations to see how Hilton property should operate. Thank you, Team Berlin. I will see you guys again for business. Also, I can not forget,,,, breakfast is out of the world!!!!!

We booked the Hilton Berlin through Amex Travel, primarily for the excellent location in Mitte. Most major sights are within walking distance or just one or two stops away on the U-Bahn. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything, whether it was directions or a shave kit. Unfortunately, the stay didn't feel like a luxury experience. Although we booked a "King Guest Room," the space was much smaller than expected, and the bathroom had visible mold. The shower was poorly designed with a small glass partition that allowed water to spill onto the floor, leaving the bathmat soaked every day. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety and was a good value. We also had dinner at the hotel's Listo restaurant. The menu was limited, but the steak frites we ordered were well prepared and delicious. The pool was another positive feature, kept clean and at a pleasant cool temperature. Still, with no upgrade offered and the condition of the room below standard, we would choose a different hotel next time.

Great location for tourists. Closest train station is U2 Stadtmitte, which means city center. As the train station name suggests, it is centrally located to many of the touristy areas or short train ride away to many places. The country is currently running €9 train special and we took advantage of this ticket to go to many places. Due to sold out situation, our room wasn't ready when they originally promised. They gave us a key to the executive lounge to wait until the room was ready. Room was okay. Bed is always a personal preference but for me it was too hard. I kept waking up being uncomfortable sleeping there. Staff was friendly and polite. Breakfast buffet was very nice, overlooking at the dorm. It was like a picture.

Beautiful hotel I'm staying here just for the Berlin marathon it's situated super close to the start , food is delecious , gym facilities are on the fist floor breakfast is just so good included in your stay situated on the downtown of Berlin , slightly on the pricier side just a fair warning lol

Stayed for a few days, as a Diamond member the perks are great. The room was spacious, bed and bedding were very comfortable. Shower had great pressure and quality toiletries. Breakfast was awesome every day! The location is great and you csn get to sll the attractions quite easily. Service was great. Overall positive experience!

I had a great stay for three nights at the Berlin Hilton! As a Diamond member, I was told to check in at the executive lounge but unfortunately there was nobody there to check me in, but regular Hilton Honors check in was fast and efficient. They even apologized that they couldn't upgrade my room and offered complimentary items from the mini-bar which was nice. The hotel itself is beautiful inside. The outside is not what I would consider pretty but the lobby is stunning. My room was very nice. Great design, very functional and very clean. Beds were very comfortable....the pillows were fluffy but went flat quickly but I still slept well every night. The gym is very nice. It's attached to a spa so if you want a massage or something, that is available. I just used the gym to stretch and work out and it was great. Didn't eat at the restaurant or drink at the main bar, but did eat breakfast in the Executive Lounge a couple of times. They have the usual breakfast fare (eggs, fruit, bacon, bread....lots of bread!) and it was all tasty. Checking out was easy although they wanted to charge me for parking and for the items I took from the mini-bar, which should have been comped (I didn't go hog wild, just took a Kit Kat and a bottle of water) but they resolved that quickly. I found the location perfect as a base of operations for seeing things in Berlin. I came in via the Central Train Station and it took 13 minutes to get to the hotel. Checkpoint Charlie is less than a 10 minute walk, Tiergarten is about the same and there is a U-Bahn stop right outside the door. Very easy to walk to Museum Island. Will definitely stay here again next time I am in Berlin, which I hope is soon.

    Small but comfortable room.

I was absolutely thrilled with the Hilton Berlin. It's one of the best Hilton's I've stayed in, and I wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel again. The location is nearing perfection, right next to the Deutscher Dom (ask for a room with an eye-popping view of the landmark), across the street from the yummy Rausch chocolate shop, and within a one to two block walking distance from several subway stations. Plenty of shops and restaurants are nearby too, and if you take public transport you can get to most of the city's major tourist attractions within minutes. The room itself was pretty standard, on the small side, but very comfortable. There's a nice workspace desk, a clean bathroom, and an in-room mini-bar. The employees were hospitable and spoke perfect English (among several other languages). My room was on the Executive Floor which meant I had access to the Executive Lounge and a stunning complimentary breakfast. The lounge was large and overrun with business people throughout the day and got very crowded. It was still a nice place to hang out with heavy snacks and free soft and hard drinks. The breakfast was absolutely top notch, one of the best spreads ever. Think fresh pastries, pretzels, coffee, juices, bacon, yogurt and more. They had free sparkling wine too! It was an amazing assortment of food (and I'm not even a breakfast person). I'd stay here again for the breakfast alone. There's a cab stand right outside the front door, making it easy to get a ride to the train station or airport if you're in a hurry. The Hilton Berlin is one of my favorite chain hotels in Europe.

Humongous hotel across from the Deutsche Dom. Set in a concentric square around an atrium so all inner courtyard rooms are super quiet and off the street. Ground floor has tons of seating areas. Fitness room has about three or four of each - ellipticals, treadmills, bikes and quiet a few weight/resistance equipment for a hotel fitness center. Pool is very nice and the spa gas a large number of treatment options at slightly lower prices (for the 90 minute options) than the typical outrageous spa prices you normally see at full service hotels. Rooms are well appointed but have way too bright night lights you can't cover because they are built flat into the wall. Reception was very friendly. First time visitors get a free glass of wine at their bar.

Ubers are all over the city and they arrive FAST! The hotel has a gigantic glowing red sign at the top of the hotel so that if you are walking, you can spot it quickly. This hotel is located in what was East Berlin. It is a lovely hotel. There is a lovely grand staircase on the first floor. If you arrive and realize you forgot your power adapter, the hotel will allow you to use one while you are there. They will charge you 20 euros for the use and will remove the charge once you return the adapter. We book our hotels through Marriott.com and use the default settings, we were told that we need to pay extra for the second guest, we said no problem. Elevators: there are 3 running elevators. Room: on checks-in we asked if there were any room upgrades. We got a junior suite (Room 572). A keycard is required to make the elevator move. Room 572 is far from the center of the hotel. Your walk down a long corridor so I was thrilled it is far from the elevators. It is a nice spacious room with sitting area opposite the bedroom. The room runs hot, so we turned off the furnaces and then opened the windows to cool the room down. Even with the furnace off, the room was warm. There is a nice no brand Nespresso machine with pods. There is a mini fridge where you can purchase drinks to consume in your room. Bathroom: very spacious and well lit bathroom that made easy to apply makeup with plenty of counter space. The mirror is the right height for me at 5'8" tall. There is a standing shower. Nice amenities: shampoo, conditioner, body lotion. Living room: nice size TV, desk area with one plug with USB-C and USB connector. There are plenty of European plugs for charging. Couch for watching TV, 2 ottoman style seating for putting on your shoes, and a table for eating snacks. Bedroom: King size bed with nightstands on each side. The night stands have European plugs with 2 USB connectors for charging devices. Smaller TV and tiny when considering distance to the bed for watching TV. Gym: there is a small gym onsite with a sauna. The gym is located in an odd area. We were told go to room 513 and take the elevator down to the gym. Sure enough go to room 513 and there is a tiny elevator. Take it down and you come to a lobby area. The sauna is off to the right but the door was locked the entire time we were here. Then you go around the corner to a series of doors. Open the one directly in front of you and it opens to an awkward open area. It looks like a pool should have been built there. But there are seating places to the right and left and the incense is quite strong, maybe a meditation area? There is a workout area to the left with treadmill and stuff and a water station. Sleep Quality: during the day we could hear noises from other rooms and ambulances screaming by on the street below. At night we could hear people stomping above us but when it came to sleeping time, the noises stopped. The sleep quality was very good but the hotel felt empty for most of the days we were here. During the summer months, it might be a different story. Breakfast: included with our room since we are Marriott Elite. We ate there everyday for our trip and our last day, the young girl was your reservation is only 1 person. We said no, we paid at check-in and 2 should be included for breakfast. After quite is discussion, she was quiet and happy after checking. The breakfast buffet is very nice and highly recommend. There is a nice omelet station. NOTE: There are two Rewe grocery stores within walking distance of the hotel. The first one has a better beer selection. The second is within a bigger mall building and has a better bakery than the first Rewe. Bring your own bags or purchase has expensive reusable Rewe bag.

Asked for a free room upgrade based on my Marriott/Westin status and the clerk upgraded us to a junior suite. Room Junior Suite 572: A large, comfortable room, huge by European standards. The suite included a large living room and a separate bedroom with king bed. Both the living room and bedroom had smallish Samsung TVs (small by U.S. standards). Nice coffee maker and mini refrigerator. Bathroom: Decent bathroom with good counter space and great lighting. Downside is no tub- shower only. Water pressure was adequate. Mediocre but functional hair dryer. Bed: King sized bed with decent linens. We had to remove the heavy liner from the duvet because the room was on the warm side. Sleep quality: Better than average, but some street noise made its way through the windows. Housekeeping: Unless you're proactive in asking, the housekeeping is below average. For example, we had no facial tissues for 2 days. Once we left a note and a tip, the facial tissue was restocked. Sometimes complimentary water was restocked, some days not. Breakfast restaurant: Based on our Marriott status, we received a nice complimentary breakfasts. Service at the breakfast restaurant is pathetic, but the food was good. We consistently were not served coffee. So we simply grabbed coffee urns each morning. Staff for some reason only offered coffee and any level of service to older Germans. Anyone foreign or young the staff ignored. Overall service: Between reluctant and non-existent. That's Germany for you. Don't expect helpful staff. Gym: Small but functional gym with standard exercise equipment like treadmills, weights, etc. Power outlets: Be sure to bring adapters for German outlets. The room had no U.S.-type power outlets. Misc: (1) On our last day, we found a silverfish in the bathroom. Also, this hotel allows pets. We consistently heard dogs barking on rooms. (2) There's a Rewe grocery store about 5 blocks away from the hotel. Bring reusable grocery bags to haul your purchases back to the hotel. (3) We were skeptical but tried a Kebab restaurant nearby. Wow! The Donor kebaps are great! Try Mr. Kebab 4 blocks away.

The apartment was HUGE, with a full kitchen so we could ease into our day. The kitchen is well appointed with everything I needed to be able to cook some meals. There is a nearby Edeka & Bio Market for easy grocery shopping. The decor in the apartment building is based on a bird house & birds - they carry their theme/branding through like only the Germans can, in an incredibly thoughtful, chic, and humous way. The apartments have an elevator big enough to wrangle international luggage, which is always a plus. The apartments had ample towels, comfortable beds, and lovely service from the concierge downstairs. The welcome fruit basket & coffee provided was incredibly welcome when we woke up jet lagged & starving at 3 AM. They popped in every 2 days to take out the trash & restock towels for us - this was the best of both worlds: hotel service with apartment space & privacy. There is a new laundry room, all decked out that was readily available and thankfully had instructions because despite speaking German, I find their washing machines to be entirely confounding. The attached restaurant downstairs Erchy's has lovely service & great food at decent prices. Would definitely recommend both the apartments and the restaurant.

Located in a very busy intersection of neighborhoods, The Circus Hotel is a nice, clean,…read morecomfortable place with a few notable exceptions. For many westerners it is important to note that they DO NOT have air conditioning. They don't even have a fan system. This means on rainy, humid, or warm days the room can get pretty muggy. The claim is that it never gets hot/warm in Berlin - for Europeans I suppose, and something about being environmentally friendly, though I didn't quite buy it. Sounded more like a way to cut costs. The bathrooms are very nice in the single rooms. Walk in showers with great water pressure, and unbelievably scalding hot water if you want it. Clean, with plenty of towels. Along the lines of that whole "green" gimmick, you have to insert, and leave, your key card into a slot next to the door to get the lights to come on. This will drive you crazy. Bathroom lights, main room lights, etc. If it's late at night and you have to use the bathroom get ready to wake the whole room up. Luckily by the desk there is a small, wall mounted light with a switch. Without that and the light from the street I would have been in serious trouble. Heavy curtains! They also put a large, half filled beanbag chair in the room... Not sure why... it's uncomfortable as hell and just in the way. The wifi was a little unsure at first and requires you to login every few hours or so. An annoyance that could be better. It works and it's pretty quick. Never the less the room we had on the 1st floor was very clean, modern, spacious, and comfortable. Bigger than most American hotels of the same price. Quiet when the windows are closed. There are no ice or vending machines, but downstairs is their in-house, decent German restaurant. The 8 Euro all you can eat organic buffet breakfast is an odd mix of stuff. From tuna salad, cheeses, and breads to salami, hard boiled eggs and cereals. Lots of variety but all European. This means no eggs, bacon, and pancakes for those who might expect it. This is -not- the Holiday Inn. Great food, very well done, very nicely presented, and they do a great job with it. Very impressive. Sit outside in the garden, it's fantastic. The desk folks are very nice, they all speak English, and have lots of little things that really, really come in handy, such as: stamps, umbrellas, packing tape, hair and body wash for free, etc. You might get someone whose English is a bit halting and they may seem unfriendly but really they're not. Immensely helpful and patient. The hotel sits at the confluence of 4 intersections, above a subway, with an above ground tram to boot! This means outside it can get noisy but the windows are thick and you don't hear anything unless it sirens. The location is perfect for just getting somewhere. When you exit the subway at Rosenthaler Straße (U8 line) be sure to exit the Torstraße side. If you do the hotel will be right there, 15 feet from the exit, next to the Chinese restaurant. If you don't then it's down the block. Lots of cafes and tourist shops nearby, post office down the street, etc. I never figured out the train system. Apparently you're supposed to buy a ticket when you go down into the subway - there are no fare gates - but some Germans told me only tourists buy tickets and everyone just walks down and gets on the train, so that was pretty cool. The trains go everywhere but they're are different lines run by different companies, so they don't all look the same. This can be very confusing when the desk gives you directions somewhere. Overall I give this place a 4 out of 5. It's clean, great location, comfortable, and they really try to make the stay as comfortable as possible. I ding them one star for the a/c - or any kind of fan/air circulation system. It may sound tedious to some but having grown up with it, especially the air circulation system in general, a background noise like an a/c unit to drown out street noise is really helpful, not to mention keeping the air circulating is nice. I would have liked to have seen more information about the room, the hotel, services, and frequently asked questions. The room had a nice personalized message welcoming us to the hotel, with their very own own hotel magazine, but information such as the wifi password, using the lights, etc. were no where to be found in the magazine or anywhere in the room that we could find. So for a westerner just be prepared to go with the flow and ask lots of questions. ie. If the lights don't work, there's probably a reason and you'll need to ask. All that said I will probably return. When you do the euro to US conversion it's a little expensive, but for Berlin, for the location, etc. it's very nice. A little out away from the main tourist sections in a more neighborhood setting. Safe to walk around at night and the beds are comfortable.

On my travels around this planet I have had chance to stay in some wicked hotels. From a super cool…read moremotel in San Francisco,to a stupidly posh hotel in London complete with Lambo and Mclaren Merc parked outside and a porn inspired room in a hotel in Amsterdam (Yep,porn),and more. But none of them compare to Casa Camper, that isn't to do any of the others down, they were all good in their own right, but for sheer enjoyment Camper wins hands down. The staff were all awesome. The room was awesome. The shower was awesome. The bed was awesome. The honour bar is an awesome idea. The breakfast was awesome. The location is awesome (Near to The Absinthe Depot and round the corner from one of the nicest kebabs (or kebap) that i've ever had). All our fellow guests that we spoke to were awesome. Ange Z is awesome for finding and booking here. Also I'm awesome, just because.... Fair enough,it's not the chespest of places at which to stay, but at the end of the day you get what you pay for,and possibly more at Casa Camper. The next time i'm going to visit this great City then Casa Camper will certainly be my go to Hotel,it really is that good!!

One of the other reviewers said it perfectly - staying at Casa Camper is like staying at the quiet…read morehome of an old friend with impeccable taste, great wealth, and an open well-stocked kitchen. It was hard to go home again after staying a few days in this friendly, comfortable, modern, quirky, and completely supportive boutique hotel. It manages to be ultra-modern without being pretentious or cold, a nice trick. The rooms are perfectly sized - not overwhelming but not cramped, stocked with robes and slippers and wonderful toiletries, and the rain shower is awesome. Free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, also a free business center with 2 computers and a printer, and the breakfast area is well supplied with free newspapers, fruit, snacks, bread, a coffee machine, and non-alcoholic drinks available 7x24. The actual breakfasts (7-11 AM) are cooked to order, and the dining room, lounge, and "Bodega" (a self-service honor bar) have a wonderful view over the city from the 7th floor. It was so pleasant sitting in the comfortable lounge in the evening, catching up on email or reading with a glass of wine from the Bodega. The staff are diverse, young, and exceptionally helpful and congenial. The hotel is located just a few steps around the corner from the Weinmeisterstrasse U8 station. However, for most of the things you might want to see in Berlin Mitte, the U-bahn is not even necessary. There are many good restaurants within a few blocks, and it's just a short walk to the museum island or Unter den Linden, among other attractions. Now that I've been completely spoiled at the Casa Camper I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Berlin.
