After an hour and one half the next young lady checked my vision. I sat in that hard uncomfortable chair for 1 1/2 hours. She then said follow me back to the waiting room and we will call you. I said I have been waiting well over an hour already. She curtly replied, so have a lot of other people. I asked how much longer and she said I have no idea. I asked will it be another hour? She curtly replied no way I can tell. I said I am not waiting. She turned and left without a word. No apology no attempt to rectify the situation. He performed my cataract surgery three years ago and what a difference!! I had no problems, and my vision is so improved! Dr. Little and his staff, the nurses, the optometrist, scheduling of appointments, seeing Dr. Little for a sudden flair up of my ocular rosacea have always been addressed quickly. I highly recommend Southern Eye Associates and Dr. Little when needing eye care.

Time caught up with me and I had no choice, I had to go! I found Dr. Sarah on line and thought to myself, "Just get it over with." When I called for an appointment the receptionist was super friendly and put me to ease right away. Meeting Dr. Sarah, she made me feel super comfortable. She let me know what was needed to get me the relief that I so desperately needed, no shaming, no condemnation, just the facts. She laid out the plan to which I agreed and now I am excited about going back. Thank you Dr. Sarah and staff.

And, the nurses are all really good at what they do! Very happy with both the therapy & the nurses! 5 (for therapy staff & nurses only) So, I would recommend it for rehab but not really for long term care! But, they are very short staffed with the CNA's. And, they don't seem to work well as a team. From the housekeepers, CNA's & the kitchen staff they need better training! I have worked in a kitchen myself in a state facility for many years before I became disabled. They could all 3 do a lot better. They aren't giving the residents the care they deserve. It saddens me to hear the staff talking about other residents & bad mouthing other staff members. Just bc most of the residents are older doesn't mean they can't here you talk. And, leaving them sitting in their potty pants for hours without changing them is very disrespectful to these residents. They aren't babies & they deserve better. I am very disappointed in what I have seen! Thank goodness I am very verbal myself but my roommate isn't & I have been speaking up for her. She is a very kind person & doesn't complain as much as she should. I hope by this review maybe they can actually take a look at their lower staff the ones that spend the most time with their residents! BTW, the food here sucks! Not good at all! Nothing has any flavor. They either over cook or under cook their food. They need a better menu with a wider selection for residents to choose from. And, the staff doesn't give out the snacks to the residents, either! If I had to give stars for the CNAs, housekeepers & food staff I would only give them a half a star if even that!!!!

Unfortunately, I had to have a tooth extracted today after cracking it while biting down on either hard candy or ice. (Hopefully, I've learned my lesson!) Thankfully, the procedure went extremely well. Dr. Jackson and his entire staff were absolutely amazing from start to finish! What impressed me most, though, was what happened afterward. I had been home for a few hours when my phone rang--and it was Dr. Jackson himself! He called from his personal phone simply to check on me and told me not to hesitate to reach out if I had any questions, issues, or concerns. Now THAT is what I call going above and beyond for your patients! It's not every day that you experience such genuine care and personal attention. I cannot recommend Dr. Jackson and his wonderful staff highly enough! And a special THANK YOU to Dr. Cliff Higgins for the recommendation. I truly appreciate it!
