I had my implant appointment on December 23rd 2019, with Dr. Thompson. When I got to his office in Jonesboro,Arkansas I was about 30 minutes early and i gave my paperwork to the receptionist. They took me right into the dental room and Dr. Thompson assistant started right away after introducing herself. She explained and showed me how the implants work and showed me what my new teeth may look like which was very informative. I'm a 100% Disabled Veteran and had most of my teeth broken out in a IED blast in 2008. Dr. Thompson came into the room at this point introduced himself looked in my mouth after seeing the Panoramic scan and told me I was a good candidate for implants. He then preceded to explain to me what he thought would be my treatment plan. He said after he got the VA authorization what he could do for me. That we would have to wait on VA. He said after he got the authorization he can get the implants installed right away, Dr. Thompson was very informative and professional on all levels explaining my treatment plan. VA removed all of my teeth that was broken by 2009 . It's now 2020 been 11 years since that point and I've been waiting to get implants since then, to have some teeth that I dont have to remove at the end of the day like I do with my dentures that VA made me. When he told me that he can do the implants and i was a good candidate for them i was extremely happy to have this information. I am so very excited to be able to have implants done by Dr. Thompson. I'm very satisfied that the VA has sent me to see Dr. Thompson I cant hardly describe it, I'll have a sense of normalcy. To be able to eat a meal in public and not have any problems like my dentures coming out and tasting plastic instead of the meal I'm eating is indescribable. Again at this point I'm 100% satisfied that Dr. Thompson is going to be able to do my implants, I can hardly wait for the next part of this journey, It's been a very longtime for me to get to this point. read more

After my 1st consult with Dr. Thomas Jackson, I immediately knew I was in GREAT hands, explaining my fears/anxieties, allergies, meds that work/don't along with Jackson's awesome ability to answer what would happen prior to, during and after my dental surgery & follow-ups.  Dr. Jackson & I together, opted for 2 procedures instead of a single larger/longer one. This is how he treats each and every patient, by getting to know you by name, along with my mom's name who was my ride post-surgery. Dr. J is always available once you leave their surgical offices for questions and such. The staff at Thompson Periodontics and Implant Surgery Center are truly awesome including Mrs. Brenda, Office Coordinator and the nurses and other staff are so welcoming in answers any loose ends one can forget in anxious situations. They put my mind at ease, which is no easy task! Honestly in my opinion, Dr. Jackson is a TOP Periodontics Surgeon for any Periodontics and/or Dental Implants with a loving team behind him & his kind honesty. I live in Nashville now, although I grew up in Jonesboro and all I can say is Northeast Arkansas is lucky to have a calm, comfortable, personable Dental Surgeon as Dr. Jackson. In fact, in the future should I need this type of treatment, I will be driving from Nashville to Jonesboro because of the fantastic work and his all around kindness, along with the entire staff! Dr. Thompson and his staff are a class act # 1! They are quick to get you in when your appointment time is, they are super friendly and extremely knowledgable/professional. I've had three procedures done in the past 7 years and I am super happy with all of my results. I also love that text messages for a reminder are a big help for me. I take my health very seriously.
