Time caught up with me and I had no choice, I had to go! I found Dr. Sarah on line and thought to myself, "Just get it over with." When I called for an appointment the receptionist was super friendly and put me to ease right away. Meeting Dr. Sarah, she made me feel super comfortable. She let me know what was needed to get me the relief that I so desperately needed, no shaming, no condemnation, just the facts. I went in to have a tooth that had chipped repaired and continued having issues with the material Dr. Woodruff put on my tooth (staining, loss of material he used, further chipping). I came back in to have it looked at, he put more on my tooth. The material kept staining, coming off, I was even more anxious than when I first went in. I explained that I was a student and did not have a lot of money to work with, I had been paying close to $100 every time I came in. I don't see any reason at all why I should have to pay that for something that clearly wasn't working. It was my front tooth so I was very concerned and was not in a position to waste money. I asked him the third time I came in if he could refund the fees I paid so I could afford to fix it. I'm sitting in the chair, he's looking in my mouth, and begins to scream at me "GET THE F*** OUT OF MY OFFICE, HOW F****** DARE YOU, DON'T EVER COME BACK HERE" and began chasing me out of the building. All of the staff looked stunned, one poor girl turned to me and said "I'm so sorry". Kids are getting their teeth cleaned in the next room. It was so unreal. I wanted to call the police but I didn't even live in town anymore, I went to school out of state and had only been in town visiting family. I don't see how they still have the word "Family" in the name to be honest. Truly terrifying, I feel terrible for anyone who works there, they genuinely all look terrified and they are such nice girls. I went to this dentist since I was a CHILD, they both knew me and it was just the creepiest experience of my life.

Brandi the dental hygienist was the first one ever to not cause pain cleaning my teeth. She was friendly ,professional and very well trained in the latest technology. Dr. Wright was very informative about the issues I have. Her approach on how to resolve several problems I have made me realize I should have been here all along. She gave sound advice and way forward. The office staff were very helpful setting up appointments close together for the work needed. They were very helpful and understood the schedule I needed to make it work. I appreciate the patience and kindness they showed me . I am glad my former dentist dropped my insurance. Sometimes what seems to be a problem can be the best opportunity yet. Better dentist ,better staff. Hope I can continue with them until my time is up.

The entire process was going to cost me over $3,000 out of pocket - after my insurance paid. I got a second opinion from an extremely reputable dentist who told me it was nothing serious and it might eventually involve an extraction but probably not for a few more years since I took such good care of my teeth. I write this as a warning to potential patients and as a statement on the shameful, greedy behavior of so many dentists in Jonesboro. It isn't just Adams.

In fact, this is honestly the only time in my life I ever felt the need to publicly review a medical professional. He treated me like a child, like a bother, for having a major panic attack after his nurses blew not one, but two veins, trying to get an IV in. They stuck me three times after that, unsuccessfully, and I was a major pain and panicking. He came in and sarcastically said "so are we going home or what?". no compassion, no offer to help, no bedside manner at all. I told him politely no, I just didn't want to hurt anymore. My husband was holding my hand until the IV was done, because the nurses had told me that was fine. He was aware he had to leave right after. My husband is a very timid kind of guy, and was totally silent and not a problem, but this doctor barked at the nurses to "get him out of here". When I try to call the office to voice, my concerns about how I was treated, he was extremely sarcastic and spiteful on the phone and told me that he has a job to do and he wasn't there to "deal with my mental episode", meaning the panic attack I had. I have always had panic around IVs, and I've only ever had medical staff show me patience and kindness. I still had to pay almost $100 for this visit even though they couldn't do my procedure, the doctor offered no apology, and slam the phone down on me when I try to voice concerns. I'm just so appalled at how unprofessional and hateful this man was, for no reason again, this is the only time in my life I have rated a medical professional. It was really that bad.

The ladies in the office are very kind, but it still doesn't change how unprofessional this request of the doctor was. And they did say "This is just something that happens!" Like it's the norm. So just be warned that your appointment is always "tentative" in Dr. Modelevsky's eyes.
