Calling all the ladies! If you need top notch quality care, I would definitely recommend this…read moreplace. I had such a great experience here, giving birth to my second child via St. Luke's. I had one of the first babies at the new birthing centre in Nampa a few years ago. It was pretty luxurious, to be honest. Thank you, OGA!!!

In 2024 I presented to the ER for excessive bleeding and cramping. At the time, I had an ultrasound…read moredone and then referred over to OGA due to having a dermoid cyst and uterine fibroid. I did a consult for surgery and was under the impression the surgery would be for both fibroid and ovarian cyst removed. I elected to move forward with the procedure due to my excruciating symptoms. I trusted Dr. Pittard to do the procedure I thought I had elected to do. Fast forward two years, my primary physician was concerned about my ongoing heavy bleeding that she referred me to get another ultrasound. It was determined that the fibroid that I thought was supposed to have been removed in 2024, was still there. I got a second opinion from another OBGYN who reviewed my surgical notes and he indicated it was likely the original fibroid that was embedded in my uterine walls was not removed and that a different penunculated fibroid that WOULD not be causing my heavy bleeding was the one that was actually removed. The OBGYN suggested that I should get this fibroid removed as it was impacting my uterine cavity and could affect my current plans of getting pregnant. My new obgyn also informed me that having surgery now would impact the timeframe for trying to concieve as I would have to wait 6 months. This is devastating to me, as this fibroid is the one I thought should have been removed by Dr. Pittard back in 2024 and it would not be a problem now that I am trying to conceive. I called OGA to try to get answers and they forwarded me to a voicemail and never returned my message. Not only until I called again to cancel my future appointments and advised I was going to the medical board that someone bothered to call me back. I got a half sorry and a promise that this would be escalated only for them never to contact me again. Now here I am- ready to have surgery again, having to take off more time from work, having to deal without ANOTHER excruciating recovery, being scared to go under anesthesia again, and having to put off my plans to try to conceive. I trusted OGA to do the job I hired them to do. Instead I was left in the dark, until another healthcare professional sensed something was wrong. If this is the care Idaho women receive in OBGYN- we should be ashamed and do better. In response to what OGA responded- no my issues and concerns were never addressed until July 1st. The clinical director called explained what happened and advised that Dr. Pittard had never planned on removing my fibroid. That the procedure was only planned for the cyst removal and he just happened to find and remove another fibroid. She referred me back to my "diagnosis, assessment, and plan" that indicated the fibroid was never meant to be removed during this procedure. As the patient, I suppose I trusted too blindly and didn't understand the medical jargon enough to understand what was actually happening. I believe that this was a massive error in communication on OGAs side clearly evidenced by the fact I thought I'd had my fibroid removed for 2 years.

I saw Kristi Rhodes and she was actually great, however the scheduling is awful. I had 4…read moreappointments and EVERY SINGLE ONE was rescheduled. I live 40 min away and when I get a call the evening before an appt they have to move my appointment, it's very hard to move it due to my schedule. The excuse everytime was that they "double booked" the provider. It's not hard to not double book one provider, and when i asked the question (the 3rd time my appts got rescheduled) "why does the other patient's appointment take presidents over mine every time and I'm the one always getting rescheduled" and of course they had no answer except they double booked the provider. When they called me to tell me my 4th appt there was moved from 8am to 11:30 that was the last straw, I can't just move my appt 3 1/2 hours later when I myself have a full schedule. So here I am 18 weeks pregnant and looking for an OBGYN who will take my time just as serious as they take their own. I'm never late for my appts, and I understand this issue happening a time or even 2 times. But I'm 4 for 4 on appointments and fed up.

He knows what he's doing and he does his job amazingly. He's a great person and a great doctor. I don't trust easily, but not only do I trust him I also have the upmost respect for him. He's such a great doctor that even my mom became a patient of his after my oldest was born. I can't say enough great things about him. If you want a great doctor who knows his field, who you feel relaxed and comfortable with, who can absolutely trust your health with and that if your child's, then Glen is the the doctor you need. His staff is also amazing! I've not lived in Idaho for many years now so I'm not sure who is still with him as staff. However, when I was there every single person on his staff was also kind and compassionate and friendly. There's nothing I can say that isn't good about him and his staff. Thank you Glen for helping me bring two of my three into this world. Even with the couple of scary moments on my end. You helped get me through it and got them here and they were born healthy and safe. Now they're all grown and married and getting ready to start their families. Thank you for your part in making that possible for my family!
