BEWARE!!! We hired Monica and her husband to do a master bathroom/closet/laundry room addition as…read morewell as an almost complete gut and remodel of our entire house. Work began in April 2022 and was 'completed' in July 2022. We ultimately paid them $180,000+ for the project and have since had to make repairs/corrections to their faulty and negligent work in the amount of $30,000+. The foundation piers that were poured were supposed to go down 20 or more feet, they were 2 feet deep. They obviously failed and the entire addition started sinking and separating from the existing house. With that movement we have brick, drywall, tile and structural damage that had to be repaired and all new piers had to be poured. They were grossly negligent in the electrical work that was done by leaving over 25 open and exposed wire splices that eventually sparked in the insulation causing a fire hazard. Half of the electrical work was never finished or properly installed in large enough breakers and those also started to tripping and half the house had no power. All of the electrical work had to be redone. They installed used and damaged exterior doors that started leaking and allowing air and moisture inside the house, ruining newly installed wood flooring, those doors had to be replaced. The new duct work required for the addition was done incorrectly or not at all, we had to run new ductwork and vents. The list of terrible faulty and negligent work is much longer than I have room to write about in a review. These people have cost my family every last dime we had in savings, they ruined my precious home and have traumatized me and my family with the level of pure dishonesty and malice they showed us. I wish that I never met them and I wish even more that they had never stepped foot in my home. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE LET THESE PEOPLE EVEN PICK UP A PAINTBRUSH ON YOUR PROPERTY!!!

Because I live out of state, it was even more challenging to find contractors to replace my flooring and repair the walls that were ruined by the water. I reached out on Yelp and Rafael responded quickly and called me to discuss the issues. He was able to get me an estimate in a couple of days and, when we agreed on the scope, was able to get started quickly. Although I haven't seen the work in person, my tenant said that all looks good. When I see for myself in a couple weeks, I have no doubt that my expectations will be exceeded. The best part is that I was told that the work would be done within 7-10 days and it was completed exactly when promised! I have never had a contractor actually complete when promised so I was pleasantly surprised indeed!
