This place is next door to my job. They did the place over a couple of years ago and before that I could not imagine eating ANYTHING here.
They put in a hot food station with things like rice, beans, plantains, chicken wings, fish fillet, and pork. They make all this food daily and it looks very good. The issue I have with getting food here is that the price and amount of food vary depending on who serves you. WTF?! To me consistency is a big deal. I want to know what I am getting and for how much. They have 0 prices posted so you are kind of at their mercy. One of the guys I work with goes and speaks to them in Spanish... he never pays tax and his food is always stacked just a bit more. I once went 3 days in a row just for a roll to put together food I had brought from home.
Day 1 - 75 Cents
Day 2 - $1
Day 3 - The girl wanted $1.50 for the same roll. I drew the line here and told her for that price I can go get an entire loaf of bread at Shop rite a block away.
I don't want them to cut me a deal for working next door and coming in almost every day. I just want consistency for a regular customer.
The worst pizza I have ever had. When the place was made over they added a pizza oven and had a guy their making fresh pies every day. That eventually faded to only having plain or pepperoni on what I believe is a Sam's Club pre-made crust. I think they are open 24hrs so when I come in at 7 am and see some slices so tired it looks like they ran a mile I know it's not today's pizza.
They get 3 stars for :
1: Being next door
2: Having almost every Arizona $1 can flavor
3: Cheap gas read more
