The sign was not properly supported, but the company claims the brick "gave way". (Meanwhile, the building front features multiple, still-bolted-in brackets from past signage). Brick is brick. Their sign was a heavy metal pole, supported by a few bolts, with a thin wire for extra support. Not surprisingly, the wire broke & the weight of the heavy metal took the whole thing down. I was so sad to see my cute sign smashed on the sidewalk, but grateful nobody was hurt.

What a wonderful idea it would be to build a new railroad station in Elmont and call it the Elmont-UBS Arena station. A station like this could significantly reduce the number of cars on the road heading to UBS Arena. Brilliant! This would be the first new station the LIRR has built in fifty years that serves Belmont Park and the Elmont area of New York. Once the game is over, shuttles can transport fans from the arena directly to the station, or they can simply walk about ten minutes. The train would arrive roughly 15 minutes before its scheduled departure, giving fans ample time to leave the park comfortably. It's a fantastic, easy, and cost-effective solution. I love it!

Unfortunately, this led us to miss our entire cocktail hour with our 100 guests. The car was not clean, the driver was not dressed appropriately, he did not act appropriate and they also conveniently forgot the champagne, which I'm very sure and willing to bet was a cheap $18 Italian prosecco. I could never recommend this company whatsoever.
