The other one is across the river on Broadway St. It is held on Wednesday's, late Afternoon/early evening. Both are great! Not sure which one I like better. They both have many of the same vendors, but the time of day and location, bring a little different vibe to the events. The great thing about the Saturday one is it's in the morning. A little bit more laid back. It's a great way to start your morning with coffee and a pastry while you shop the many stands from local farmers, restaurants and businesses. The Wednesday one is on Broadway which has a few more bars and restaurants, so it has a little bit more of a "happy hour" feel to it (if you want to enjoy some music, food and booze this would be your pick). I look forward to getting to as many as possible. Even when I don't need anything... yet I always find something to buy! Farmers Markets in Green Bay, to me, means it's finally nice out!

This is a really popular market that draws more food vendors/ food trucks than the Saturday market. Unlike the Saturday market you can also get craft beers from all the local breweries. Outside of snagging some food and beverages you can collect some good produce, cheese and meats. They have a face painter and other entertainment including music. Some of my favorite things include the beer, the gelato truck and kettle corn! I really like this market and will for sure be back.

Inside the big space with a custom fridge and tables and chairs, the season's harvest awaited. Some fresh, some pickled, all enticing. I got honey, maple syrup, pickled dilly beans, homemade salsa, and pickled asparagus. (Had three more days of driving so didn't get anything fresh.) The honey is raw and veggies organic. Mel was warm and inviting. It was worth driving backwards for 100 yards.

I love apple cider donuts, but Wisconsin is known for its cherries. I was not a fan of the cherry donut sample I tried. I did end up getting some coffee, jelly, and dried cherries to take home. They have lots of home decor items and cherry donuts that are deep-fried into chips, which I did not try. You can also get a cup of coffee, and they have lots of pie and baked goods. Prices were pretty typical for these types of stands. $3 for small items and $10 for larger canned items

We learned that we missed Monday visiting the farm and would have to wait until Thursday as you are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday and we check out on Friday. Thursday morning we went to your store and bought 2 Ribeye steaks to cook on the grill for dinner while we packed and got ready to depart on Friday. We were really excited to try them after seeing your business advertised all over the county. Unfortunately our excitement turned to disappointment. Our steaks were not of the quality we were expecting. They were tough and somewhat dry. The sweet potato was very good but that was not enough to justify the $55 we spent on 2 steaks and a sweet potato. My husband also ran back in and grabbed a $12.95 rub for the steaks.
