I just moved back to Cedar Falls in September and was having difficulty finding a place to live with it being so late in the season. I had a friend live in Hillcrest last school year and she always talked about how much fun she had while living here. I took a tour and I was set- they have activities for students to participate in, there was more than enough room in the apartment for all of my clothes (there is a washer and dryer in each apartment which is convenient since you don't have to share with 300 people or pay each wash), and the staff is friendly. I love having a fitness center in the complex and different activities to do. I had some random roommates and we ended up getting along great. Nicole was great at helping me with my transition and if I have any problems, she is always willing to help. If you want to get out of living in the dorms and become independent, I recommend Hillcrest Park Apartments! Hillcrest is a great space to meet new friends and build relationships with roommates, while feeling extra safe and cozy too. The amenities like the pool, tanning bed, workout area, and free printing are things that make living here extra awesome. My roommates have become some of my best friends and i am so thankful that Hillcrest has let me make those even better by letting me lease another year with some extra perks. The office staff are always so helpful and always have a smile when answering questions. I'm glad that i chose Hillcrest when considering my options for housing while attending UNI. read more

Hillcrest Park Apartments give you the most bang for your buck!! After first moving in in 2014, there were multiple things that went wrong with our appliances. We got those all looked at and even replaced for no charge at all! It's nice that they have a great maintenance crew available each day when something isn't working! Great clubhouse with computers, a game room, weightroom, pool, volleyball, basketball, and frisbee golf too! Very affordable with rates starting at $355 and the Utility package is only around $35 to $45 a month! (split between 4) If you are a student at UNI, live here!! read more

I love these apartment complexes; they are 4 bedroom, 2 bath, kitchen, and an open living room. The kitchen is plenty big for the amount of time college students would be spending in there. There are other amenities that you are able to enjoy as well; tanning beds, the clubhouse (where you can study or hangout), pool table, computer lab, outdoor pool, and a workout facility. They offer events throughout the year, where they sometimes offer free food! I mean who doesn't love free food! Overall, these apartment complexes are perfect for college students. I love living at Hillcrest. The apartments are very nice and the club house has a lot of great resources such as a fitness center, free tanning, printing, and more. The Panther shuttle is a great resource because it runs every 30 minutes and has many different stops on UNI's campus. My favorite thing about Hillcrest is the friendly college environment and all of the activities the club house puts on for residents. The activities really bring together the residents and help you meet new people. I'm definitely renewing my lease to live here again next year! read more

December will be my 2 year mark living at Hillcrest! It is nice because it is all students living here. The campus bus comes out and you can ride it for free thanks to UNI Student government! There is free printing at the office along with a fitness room, pool, free tanning, and more! They also like to have events for everyone, anything from treats to BINGO! I have not had a problem with anything, such as rent payments. If we have a maintenance problem they are over to fix it in no time! Over all a great place to live while attending UNI! read more

I just signed to live at Hillcrest again for my third year. I'm always having a good time!!! Super social and fun place to live, my roommates are awesome. The staff is energetic and perky. Great way to meet people, they even hold monthly events/mixers to get residents together. (There's usually free food!!) Love that it's close to campus! Seriously with the cheap rent and utilities and all the free things that are included I wish I could live here forever! I have lived at Hillcrest Park Apartments for two years now. I just resigned my lease because I feel like it is the best place to live while you are at college. Rent is cheap (it is generally around $330-$380 depending what type of lease you sign) and all the incentives are so worth it. Free tanning, free gym, free printing, and more. They also give out food every once in a while! It is perfect for when you want to get away from the dorms but still want the feel of having a social life with your roommates and neighbors. I am very pleased with Hillcrest! Every maintenance issue I have had in my apartment was fixed as quickly as it could be(max was 2 days). The staff is also super considerate and kind. One of my favorite things that Hillcrest does is host little gatherings where there is food, games, and more. It is always fun to go and meet new people. The amenities are also amazing! Hillcrest Apartment is a great place to live! The apartment themselves are very roomie and they feel like home. It all student based living, so it's easy to make friend living around you. The club house offers a lot like printing, tanning, fitness room, and study areas. It also has a pool open during the summer. The owners are very nice and do fun things to get you involved. The only complaint is the location from campus. Walking to class in the winter time is not an option. read more

I highly recommend to come live at Hillcrest Apartments! It brought my roommates and I so close. I came in with randoms and now they are my best friends. They also have amazing amenities, like a pool, grills, a frezbe golf course, tanning, computers and printers, a hangout area with a kitchen, a game room and a workout room. Hillcrest is a great place to live! This is my first year living in an apartment and I love coming home to a beautiful apartment and three of my best friends. A few of my favorite things about Hillcrest include plenty of parking right outside my apartment, the spacious kitchens with full-size refrigerators, and the washer and dryer and two separate bathrooms that are located in each unit. Definitely was impressed when I got all moved in! I live in a 4 bed, 2 bath apartment! Easy walking distance to campus and extremely affordable rent! I've had nothing but a great experience so far. Plenty of kitchen space, bedroom closets are perfect size, both bathrooms have plenty of space. Very wonderful place to live! 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom, shared living space and kitchen. Washer/dryer in unit in a closet with storage in closet. New laminate wood floors and good appliances (little dated). Lots of fun things to do here like swimming pool, workout facility, game room, basketball court, sand volleyball. I love Hillcrest. Good price and your rate goes down if you resign early. They allow pets at the most affordable price I've seen in apartment complexes in the Cedar Valley. The layout of the apartments are great. You can either move in with your friends or they'll find roommates for you. Close to UNI campus, I can get to classes within 15 minutes by driving. Lived here almost 4 years and wish I'd lived here instead of my old complex! read more

I have absolutely loved living at Hillcrest! It's location is great and it has so many things to offer. My friends and I love hanging out at the pool or playing sand volleyball and basketball. The clubhouse is an awesome place to come and do homework away from the distractions of roommates. Rent is reasonable and the apartments are nice.
