This is a awesome well maintained golf course. The after 5pm price is a great bang for your dollar. The views from the holes are very beautiful and you will more than likely come across some deer on the course. The only small complaint is you may get placed right behind other golfers cause it's busy. read more

Quick look rating: 4/5 Quality, 5/5 Service, 5/5 Experience Fun little golf course. The course upkeep was rated a "B+" in my opinion. The time that I played, the lack of rain put a little damper on the grass. It's a fun little course and what's really fun is playing in high altitude, person can really spank a golf ball down the fairway with some distance! The pro shop inside is well stocked for a small course! Inside the club house is roomy enough to host a small to medium tournament. They have a small snack shop inside the main club house. The menu was small, but a fun little menu. Hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, soda's and they small time basic's. You can not beat them up for a small menu, heck I love it's just the basic's, just enough to stay a float! This golf course sits on top of mesa overlooking Durango, Colorado with fantastic view! I would go back and play this course again! Take a camera, or just relax and enjoy your time! read more

Besides being a great value the course is impeccably maintained. It has a lot of unexpected challenges which made it a lot of fun to play. The staff was friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend giving Hillcrest a try. read more

Interesting muni. Short but compensated for by undulating greens that are very fast (probably 4 feet on the stimp). Fees around $50 for a round. Not much food or beverage choices though. read more

We thoroughly enjoyed the front 9, pace was good. But as we approached 9th green we heard them announce people to start on 10. I never heard of a course putting a group in front of players already on the course. It became SO slow. We finally quit after 16. I would NOT play there again! read more
