My husband and I were looking for a financial advisor after years and years of trying to manage it…read moreon our own. We needed someone we could trust, that can help organize our finances, set up some estate planning, and overall improve our financial literacy. We're so happy to have found Impact Fiduciary and to work with Chris whose always made sure we are set up for success. He's extremely knowledgable and patient in walking us through what financial decisions need to be made, and exactly what we sign up for as we look into certain investments. He's great at keeping up with us, even when we tend to lose sight of our goals or meetings. We've been fortunate to see a lot of growth after working with Chris, and it's assuring knowing we're investing with those who have similar values as us. Looking forward to working with them for years to come!

Before working with Chris, I wasn't sure whether a secure financial future was something I could…read morerealistically achieve. I read books, watched online videos, and tried to piece things together on my own, but without real‑life guidance, I always felt uncertain and overwhelmed. Over the past year, Chris has completely changed that experience for me, and I can't overstate how optimistic I now feel about my financial future. Our meetings never feel rushed, and Chris gives me the space to ask questions and talk through my concerns without ever making me feel judged. He takes the time to truly understand our financial situation, and he approaches every conversation with a pleasant, sociable energy that immediately puts me at ease. What I appreciate most is how encouraging and empowering he is. He helps me understand why certain choices matter and how they fit into the bigger picture. He regularly walks us through different possible outcomes based on our evolving goals and plans, which makes the future feel less intimidating and far more within reach. Chris combines expertise with genuine care in a way that's rare to find. If you're looking for someone who listens, supports, and guides you with patience and clarity, he's the person you want in your corner.

Over the course of six…read morethoughtful and intentional sessions, she helped strengthen not only our finances, but also our mindset and confidence around money. With each meeting, we made meaningful progress. Michelle helped us see clearly where our spending was going and guided us in creating a realistic, sustainable budget that still allows us to enjoy our lives while saving toward our biggest goal--purchasing our dream home. What once felt far off now feels achievable much sooner than we expected. Perhaps the most valuable part of the experience was the confidence and clarity Michelle helped us build as a couple. Our conversations around finances are now more productive, aligned, and positive than ever before. We're only a week out from our final session, and already feel the impact of the work we did together. I'm excited to look back in 3 months, 6 months, and a year from now and see how far we've come thanks to Michelle's guidance. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Living paycheck to paycheck--despite having solid incomes and no kids--was frustrating and stressful. We initially expected to walk away with a simple budget. What we got was so much more. Michelle didn't just organize our numbers--she gave us clarity, confidence, and peace of mind. She removed the fear we had around money and replaced it with a real plan and direction. More importantly, she set us up for long-term success and a stronger financial future. We truly can't recommend her enough.

DO NOT PUT ANY MONEY WITH THIS MORGAN STANLEY OFFICE! The brokers there, especially Susan Ziegler,…read moreare far more concerned about their own retirement than their clients' retirement! I think their motto is, "a sucker is born every minute." Truly, I was stupid and trusted Susan, my "financial adviser," and was even stupid enough to tell her so! I did not do my due diligence. Don't make the same mistake I made and trust this woman because she seems so nice. I am far from wealthy and Susan Ziegler put me in Morgan Stanley loser investments. She even put me in a 2 star Morgan Stanley fund that has LOST MONEY for the past 5 years. " She never let me know about the downsides of any of the loser investments she put me in. She only told me the positive things. When I finally caught on to her, I asked her why she did that. She said "because there just aren't that many good Morgan Stanley funds." When I asked her why only Morgan Stanley funds she wouldn't answer me. I have since found out that the "financial advisers" there get more clients and a lot of 'brownie points" from the company by the number of Morgan Stanley investments their clients have. So truly, their system is rigged. Susan Ziegler even told that every new contribution to my Roth had to be put in the same loser Morgan Stanley fund. And guess what, because I trusted her and I did it. But, hey, if I hadn't, she wouldn't have gotten those trailing commissions! With my savings account (as opposed to my retirement account) Susan Ziegler put 1/2 of my savings in a bond that doesn't mature for 30 years!! Who the hell in this economy wants their money tied up for 30 years?! I know I she never told this bond didn't mature for 30 years! Would I have done this? --What am I stupid?! --Obviously, I am because I was stupid enough to trust her. She actually wanted me to invest in another bond and when I asked the bond's rating, I was told, "Bonds don't have ratings." --Total and absolute bald-faced lie! I guess there must have been a helluva commission on this one. The lack of ethics at this Morgan Stanley office is unbelievable. I don't know how these people sleep at night. These people are the type that give Wall Street a bad reputation. I would have been better off doing my own investing. At least I wouldn't have been stupid enough to put my money in 2 star funds that were losing money. DO NOT GO HERE just to let THEM make money at YOUR LOSS!

DO NOT EVER PUT MONEY WITH MORGAN STANLEY. They will take your money every way that they can…read more They have a service fee for everything and it is frequently taken out of the account. Up to as much as $150.00 each time. I was told they were going to take 1% a year. Turns out the minute they had my money they took money out for managing and it was 1.5%. They did absolutely nothing but park my money in their funds and leave it. I caught on to their game very quick and took my money out right away. I also am requesting a full refund of all fees. Sadly you always read these reviews after you already got screwed by them.

Rick at Carington's was the agent working on this. One afternoon in 2016 just before the Presidential election Rick calls me at my home and urgently instructs me to convert my 401k which was 100% in stock to cash as everyone new that the stock market was about to crash. Unfortunately I acted on his advise. It makes me sick to my stomach to think about the fortune I lost acting on the horrible advise of Rick Bavetz at Carington Financial. To add insult to injury Rick was not man enough to ever contact me again to about to address this horrible mess he created.

WOW, a terrible representation of the "Heart of a Teacher"…read more.. As a fan of Dave Ramsey, my wife and I were/are in real need of a SmartVestorPro. Unfortunately, Rick Bavetz & Carington are not what Dave tells us about. After the initial conversation I sent over our financial information and was set up by Rick and his office girl Carolyn for a zoom call to start a possible working relationship. I left work early a week ago to get home and be set up ready to go... Nothing, no call. I texted, emailed, left messages nothing. Ghosted, like the teenagers do. Still no communication (complete Crickets). I'm so sorry I sent our info and now feel exposed by this terrible experience. I'm certain this is not the type of service or people that Dave Ramsey is expecting to represent his program. I highly recommend not contacting or using Carington or Rick Bavetz because of my own personal experience.
