Unfortunately, Rick Bavetz & Carington are not what Dave tells us about. After the initial conversation I sent over our financial information and was set up by Rick and his office girl Carolyn for a zoom call to start a possible working relationship. I left work early a week ago to get home and be set up ready to go... Nothing, no call. I texted, emailed, left messages nothing. Ghosted, like the teenagers do. Still no communication (complete Crickets). I'm so sorry I sent our info and now feel exposed by this terrible experience. I'm certain this is not the type of service or people that Dave Ramsey is expecting to represent his program. I had two instances where they: #1 - quoted the deal and proposed a term sheet #2 - completed a cumbersome due diligence and scheduled a closing date #3 - rejected the loan the day before closing One loan was for $700,000 or 50% LTV The other loan was for $4mm or 40% LTV How do these guys screw up low leverage deals when the DSCR is well over 1.5? A completely incompetent and dishonest group. A guy named Mike M was such a lazy dude from California who screwed up everything he did for me. tell you one thing... change it to something else with just made up reasons. It's the most unprofessional lender around besides the Hard Money and MCA thieves in NYC.... but not too far from that. F Velocity!!!!

Manchester, which has grown tremendously, has a diverse and knowledgable staff. To let the previous reviewer know something, no matter how slight, about portfolio management. Any portfolio under $500,000 must absolutely be invested in mutual funds to get proper diversification. At 0.8 of 1%, Manchester's fees are very low, and the average portfolio is NOT entirely invested in no load mutual funds; rather, the average retirement portfolio will include a proper balancing of REIT, bonds (or, because are so incredibly low right now, other income securities), and stocks. Likely, the stock portion of a smaller portfolio is invested in common stock for growth, and is too small for picking stocks because of the risk. Services have included sophisticated analyses of our financial needs and devising a portfolio that will both produce adequate income and protect us from running out of money before the last of us dies.
