If you want to get mixed communication and berated on a phone call, then this is your place. I've been looking for a place for my grandmother and thought here would be a great place. I've been up front with everyone that I'm doing this on behalf of my grandmother who needs help with all things technology. We were told multiple things that didn't line up and grandma was misguided during the interview that she had to attend ALONE because she's the only one living there. My grandma had a brain tumor removed previously so her memory is not great. She called me after and said she was so scared when the lady made her do it alone. Jane was not helpful and I called to get information as to how I could be included and she said "is your name on the application?" I said no but that I filled it out on her behalf. She replied with "then I don't need to talk to you" and continued on interrupting me and telling me how she was management so she didn't need customer service" (I had mentioned how I was bummed about the poor service we'd received). Lots of nickel and dimeing. They don't follow through with promises made or appointment times, and if you buy a new home with the one year warranty, don't expect the warranty fixes to be completed within the year (or ever, for that matter). If the warranty fixes do happen, they are shoddily done. Homes are not fully set up by the move in date, and once they have you in and paying rent, they'll keep finding excuses to postpone setup as they're bringing in more and more new homes. My lot isn't big enough to put up a shed, yet a shed is required per the lease. I'm having to post this under a pseudonym because of fear of retaliation. I can't wait to move out. The only good thing I have to say is that they're trying to improve the common areas that haven't been kept up with for 30+ years. read more

Fantastic location, and minutes away from dozens of major stores, restaurants, and attractions. Great price, for an amazing community. Includes trash and water. Hard working and very dedicated maintenance team. Excellent schools, just a walk away from the new elementary school in Altoona. A very quiet and safe community filled with wonderful neighbors. read more
