I can't imagine living in any other apartment complex. The units are spacious and up to date. I HIGHLY recommend moving here if you're looking for someplace to live.

I had an infestation of Squirrels in the attic space above my apartment it took them about 3 months to get around to doing something about it and there answer was to put traps on my balcony and then bring the pissing animal through my living room getting urine everywhere. There was also a leak in the bathroom they refused to fix because the roof wasn't bone dry so it grew mold and leaked gross liquid all over the bathroom. There was loud banging coming from the attic space that sounded like people were moving furniture up there. The laundry facility which is dirty and very small constantly froze in the winter and was consistently out of service.The icing on the cake is that the week I was moving out VOMIT came bubbling up from the sink in my bathroom. Yes, VOMIT I had not been sick so it was no vomit of mine and it was smelling up the entire apartment. They said it was an issue with the pipes. They also did not give my security deposit back. DO NOT MOVE HERE IT WILL BE THE WORST DECISION YOU EVER MADE!!!

Whatever Azalea's recruiting process, they employ an extraordinary staff - one consisting almost exclusively of people much kinder, friendlier, more caring, more patient and more positive in outlook than the norm! These are people who enjoy interacting with the residents, like what they are doing, and do it well - from the chefs who cook delicious meals for the residents to those who clean residents' rooms to the nursing staff and the management. Of special note is the assistance the staff gives residents with practical matters eg. Internet/online purchases and device maintenance. The planned activities, special meals, and social events are also very popular. And Azalea has a vibrant sense of community that never feels overwhelming! I would want and expect nothing less for my parents, and I have told Azalea's staff, in taking care of my parents, they have been taking care of my sometimes-anxious mind as well. I moved in -get ready- in December, 1979. I was 30 years old and this was my first apartment. I had no clue that I would remain here for 46 years! Throughout all this time I have had (obviously) positive experiences. Effective 3/2026 the complex is under new management and there are little things that show fun positive changes. The folks in the office and the maintenance staff are professional, accomodating, helpful and a joy to interact with - even having outside contractors for say: replacement of HVAC system, water heaters (yup, I have had them) have been done seamlessly.
