Gail, the "landlord", is one of the most unprofessional people I've ever experienced. A new tenant called bc of water leaking down into his apartment from ours above. Completely understandable. I'd be upset too, especially if I just moved in. I found out later that he called three days prior. The gag is, the previous tenant had also let Gail know about the same problem a year ago, and I had assumed the leak was fixed then. (Mind you, my mother has lived here for almost a decade, I just moved in with her earlier this year.) I get woken up, after working all day since 6am, to maintenance wanting to come in to check the bathroom, and when I explained the apartment was my mother's (who wasn't home at the time.) so I would need her permission to let them in, and that we didn't receive 24 hours notice, Gail began to harass me over the phone claiming she was going to charge my mother for water damage, and that she would let them in regardless if anyone was home or not. The best part is, she didn't even try to call my mother about the problem, but was quick to make threats to me about charging her. What I'm mostly curious about is how come Gail didn't resolve this problem with the last tenants a year ago? Why wasn't it resolved before the new tenants moved in a month ago? How come it took days for her to call maintenance over? It seems a bit odd to me how on a Sunday she chose to take action without giving my me or my mother any notice, especially since she was off and wasn't even at the apartment complex. Upon reading other's reviews, I feel the owners need to let Gail go. She obviously can't handle her temper, and definitely can't do her job in a timely fashion. SIDE NOTE: The amount of trash that's been around the dumpster for months is disgusting. It even takes up a parking spot. Kids play outside, so God forbid one of them gets injured by all the junk. I wish Gail was as passionate about safety hazards as she was gossiping, smoking cigarettes, and making threats to earn extra bucks off her tenants. Especially since my mother's rent has been raised $150 in recent years. read more
