I had an infestation of Squirrels in the attic space above my apartment it took them about 3 months to get around to doing something about it and there answer was to put traps on my balcony and then bring the pissing animal through my living room getting urine everywhere. There was also a leak in the bathroom they refused to fix because the roof wasn't bone dry so it grew mold and leaked gross liquid all over the bathroom. There was loud banging coming from the attic space that sounded like people were moving furniture up there. The laundry facility which is dirty and very small constantly froze in the winter and was consistently out of service.The icing on the cake is that the week I was moving out VOMIT came bubbling up from the sink in my bathroom. Yes, VOMIT I had not been sick so it was no vomit of mine and it was smelling up the entire apartment. They said it was an issue with the pipes. They also did not give my security deposit back. DO NOT MOVE HERE IT WILL BE THE WORST DECISION YOU EVER MADE!!!

Well here I am trying to get to speak to someone at Edgewood about the BILL we received after move out.... I didn't expect to get any money back, sure, but to received an invoice -- seriously?!! and now no one will take a call to discuss it ... good luck collecting that $$! They are very aggressive during the sales process, but completely absent during the move out process. As mentioned in other reviews, they do a walk through with maintenance and they said everything "looks good".... then a bill. One of our neighbors told us they will "nickel and dime" you at move out, and in fact that is what is happening. So beware if you are looking for honest business practices, look elsewhere.

We cleaned each room, shampooed the rugs, scrubbed the cabinets,etc as we were moving out. Since the upstairs was carpeted and dated, they mentioned we could expect a small charge to replace the carpet. I'm not sure why I'm paying to replace the carpet that was dated prior to me moving in. I open their online portal today to find a bunch of other charges including full repaint. Basically they want to keep the whole security deposit. If I knew this was their game, then I wouldn't have taken the time to clean before we left. I'm not sure how 2 property staff can walk through and say it looks really good and they don't see issues and then we get these charges with no notice. The folks in the office and the maintenance staff are professional, accomodating, helpful and a joy to interact with - even having outside contractors for say: replacement of HVAC system, water heaters (yup, I have had them) have been done seamlessly.
