We had an early appt so afterwards the place was literally next door and food was needed. It had a breakfast, lunch, dinner and CBD option on the menu. We didn't try the CBDs however we ordered fried green tomatoes and biscuits with pepper gravy. The food was good and we will stop by again when we ae in the area. I've ordered from this restaurant 4 separate times in the last 3 days, and I have to say I'm kind of impressed. Hikari Botanical and Herb is a brand new restaurant in the downtown Fairburn area but from what I've seen so far they just may have the formula for long lasting success. The food is good, reasonably priced, the establishment is clean, and the customer service is great. They have a very extensive menu, offering both breakfast and lunch all day. Everything from salads, pizza, burgers, seafood, and chicken to smoothies, omelettes, waffles, biscuits, coffee, and desserts. In 3 days I've tried the cod beer battered fish and chips ($9.99), chicken and waffles($12.99), personal pan cheese pizza ($6), philly skillet ($9.99), mountain splash smoothie ($5), lemon pound cake slice ($4.99), veggie tacos ($9.99), large veggie pizza ($18.99), and grilled chicken house salad ($7.99). Although most of these options were tasty, a couple lacked flavor or substance. At this time they're only offering to go orders and delivery through grub hub. It's best to call in your order ahead of time as everything, except the dessert, is freshly made to order which can mean longer wait times. They also offer CBD oil and holistic personal care products for purchase. I look forward to supporting this business and trying more of their menu options in the future! *Fish and chips 5/5 stars. The cod had the perfect fish to batter ratio and fried to a crispy golden brown but not too greasy. *Chicken and waffles 4/5 stars. Since they don't offer dine in service the waffle was cold by the time I ate it. The chicken strips were good. Lightly seasoned and fried. *Personal pan cheese pizza 2/5 stars. Very basic cheese pizza. Pre made crust, basic red sauce, mozzarella cheese. That's it. *Philly skillet 5/5 stars. This dish was perfect and hearty. Seasoned potatoes, strips of perfectly cooked steak, fluffy egg, veggies, all topped with melted provolone cheese. Served with a biscuit or slice of toast. *Mountain splash smoothie 3/5 stars. A healthy blend of Kiwi, celery, kale, and ginger. U pick your liquid. I wanted pineapple juice which would have tasted great mixed in but they were out. Opted for orange juice instead which threw the flavor off. *Lemon pound cake 3/5 stars. I'm a cake fanatic and this slice just missed the mark. It didn't taste fresh and the icing was too sweet. *Veggie tacos 2/5 stars. This dish was definitely lacking flavor. Could've been really good with a few spices added in. It was supposed to be served with a tahini sauce and lime wedges but mine came with neither... maybe that's where the flavor was supposed to be. *Veggie pizza 3/5 stars. A step up from the basic cheese pizza from earlier but still needed italian seasoning in the sauce or a blend of cheeses to kick it up a notch. *Grilled chicken house salad 3/5 stars. Went on a Monday around 8am to try out there breakfast. Walking in they were playing loud music In a small environment. I looked at the menu which does not have any details of the meal or product. I decided on a sandwich but I wanted to know what comes with it. On the menu there is 2-3 different sandwiches. I asked the cashier what is the difference between 2 of the sandwiches and she replied with "they both come with eggs and a meat" with a bad attitude, no efforts of helping the customer. I walked out said no thank you. My co-worker that was with me at the time ordered a biscuit and was waiting for it. Told me that a local policeman walked in and also had an altercation with the cashier asking her "do you have a problem?". So I know I'm not the only one who had a bad experience with the cashier. I was not satisfied with my order. I called and was put on hold for a LONG time. I called back and was hung up on when I asked to speak to a manager. I went to the restaurant and was treated horribly. The lady who stated she was in charge, yelled at me in front of her customers, was rude, and accused me of cursing her out (which did not happen). She also snatched the refunded money out of my hand and told me I had to get my money back from DoorDash since I had ordered through them. All of this because I wanted clarification about why my blueberry pancakes didn't have the blueberries cooked inside them. Horrible customer service and extremely unprofessional. read more

Yesterday, we had brunch from Hikari Botanical Cafe- located Downtown Fairburn. The food is delicious and customer service is amazing. We ordered Fish and Grits with scrambled eggs and Chicken with Waffles. We enjoyed our meals. There are various food options on menu including vegan and vegetarian. The owners are super nice. I wandered in on a Friday night, and friendly staff immediately greeted me. The incredible aroma of great food filled the air, and the menu has lots of great choices for vegetarians and pescatarians. The vegetarian options piqued my interest, and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the shrimp and grits, which is a favorite of mine. The grits were cheesy and bursting with flavor. My husband ordered whiting fish and hush puppies and the fish was hard and the hush puppies were raw inside. I called the store and spoke to a guy and told him I would bring it back. The owner only wanted to replace what I ordered but I didn't want that anymore because of my experience. The owner never came out to speak with me the customer. No customer service at all. I will never eat there and I will make sure everyone I know don't eat there either. I work to hard for my money to spend where I'm not appreciated as a customer. Ordered pick on Uber Eats 20 min ahead and still had to wait in the restaurant for over an hour with no clear explanation or empathy about the wait. Only thing ordered was the chicken sandwich, Mac and cheese, and a smoothie. Even given that the smoothie had to be remade due an allergy (Uber eats doesn't allow for changes) that still doesn't account for over an hour wait time. Was really excited about trying something new in this area but between the customer service and wait time, unfortunately I won't be ordering here again. I picked up a takeout order just as the restaurant was closing and realized that my order was not completely correct. I called the restaurant and they immediately offered to remake my order even though the restaurant had already closed. It's so rare to find such high quality meals and customer service under the same roof! I will continue supporting this neighborhood gem and encourage others to do the same. read more
