I went to the store Monday am and told the employees. They said no exchanges or refunds. The guy got it working. Well he puffed it once hard and said it was ok now. Couldn't try it cause I was driving. Got home. Tried it. Won't work. Husband tried it. Won't work. Piece of crap and a store that sold something for 40 and won't stand behind it is a store I will never go in and buy anything else. Would NOT recommend this store and for sure not this pen. I have frequented XHale City many times since they originally open the store in Carrollton. However, over the past couple years, their staff has become ruder and less knowledgeable. My other issue is that, no matter what e-liquid I was looking for, they would NEVER have it in 3mg nicotine. This is the most common nicotine preference for people using non-salts e-liquid. They would always swear that whatever e-liquid I was looking for would be in on the next shipment, and even offered to notify me when it came in. Spoiler, that never happened. A few days ago, I had finally had enough. I went into the store, and as usual, I got ignored for over 5 minutes. The girl working as the cashier was helping another customer, but that being the case, didn't even acknowledge me when I entered the store (a customer service no-no). Also there were two other girls who appeared to be working at the time. One was working on a decorative display, and another behind the counter apparently doing some type of paperwork. When the cashier/salesperson finally got to me, she immediately told me that they didn't have what I was looking for in 3 milligram nicotine, and as I started to ask her a question, she just turned on her heels and walked off. Now please understand, I'm what you would call an anti-Karen. I hate making a scene, but this was too much. So, I ellivated my voice enough to let her know that I wasn't done. I did not shout, I did not scream, I simply and calmly raised the volume a notch. I asked her why they never order enough 3 milligram nicotine when they sell out of it so fast, and why people have to wait for service when there are two other people who were apparently working there at the time. She turned around and yelled (not just raised her voice), that they didn't work here and I was more than welcome to find another vape shop. I did. I went to Smoke and Vape next door. They had what I wanted. It costs a few dollars more, but the staff there is always nice, mature, and very helpful (5 stars for them). I'm 64 years old, and most of the people who actually buy e-liquid and vape supplies from vape shops (as opposed to online) are NOT young people, but people 30 and older who have quit cigarettes for vaping. The girl that was working was not only rude and disrespectful, but didn't look like someone I wanted to do business with. I don't mind piercing and tattoos, but I do expect people to act professionally and dress appropriately at work. This girl looked like she was going for some kind of demented Catholic School girl look (complete with pig tails). I try not to be judgemental, but she made it difficult. I will never visit another XHale City for as long as I live.
