I found the last pair of boots in this size i was looking for but they were in terrible condition--scuffed and beat up to the point that they looked like a return. I asked if there were any others in the back. The associate checked and confirmed this was the only pair. She kindly offered to use a product to clean one boot, which improved its appearance. I thanked her and asked if she could do the same for the other boot. At that point, what I assume was the store manager turned around and said, "Ma'am, it's just a demonstration. We sell the product, and we're only supposed to do one boot." I explained that I wasn't asking for a discount or a freebie--I simply wanted to purchase boots that looked new. Her response? "We sell the product, and we're only supposed to do one shoe." I was stunned. I told her she was missing the point: the boots looked worn, and I was asking for a quick cleanup so they looked like a new item. She refused. I walked out, deciding not to spend my money with people who clearly didn't want the sale. Later, because my brother really wanted those boots and time was short, I went back to buy them. Ironically, when I returned, the boots had been cleaned up and looked much better both pairs --exactly what I had asked for earlier. So, the store lost the sale initially because the manager refused to provide basic customer service. I cannot understand why it was such a big deal to clean both boots for a paying customer. I wasn't asking for a discount or special treatment--just a product that looked new. Instead, I was met with attitude and inflexibility. This experience was disrespectful and showed a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. The only reason I completed the purchase was because it was the only store with that size and style, and my brother insisted. Otherwise, I would have gladly driven an hour to another location or ordered online. Moving forward, I will never shop at that store again. This store needs serious training--especially the manager--to understand that the goal is to maximize sales and treat customers with respect, not to flex authority at the expense of service.

The gals working were quite nice and helpful. The Local Market offers nifty classes and other events periodically; check out their website and social media for more info. I overheard that this shop will soon be relocating to its new home inside of J&M since this building will become luxury condos (side note: what isn't becoming condos?). I didn't have any intention of buying something for myself but ended up leaving with some jewelry, oops! If you've been to The Beehive in Atlanta, The Local Market reminds me a lot of it. Definitely stop by and check out what amazing stuff local creative types have to offer.

While they offer different stores, the Quintard Mall is a lot older and run down, which makes shopping at the Exchange the better option if you have to choose. There are several stores here, including Target, Best Buy, TJMaxx, Kohl's, Old Navy, Bed Bath & Beyond, Petsmart, Rackroom Shoes, Kirkland's, Dick's Sporting Goods, Hobby Lobby, Lane Bryant, Ross, Dressbarn, Merle Norman, and a few more. I absolutely love this Buckhead Village District area with its shopping as well as its food…read moreoptions. You also have to get lucky to be able to find parking here on the street. Parking on the street here is super cheap something like a dollar or something an hour, which is incredible compared to Chicago it almost $15-$26 an hour depending on where you are. This area is so super cute and quaint. It has some of the best shops ever and it also has some great eating options where you want to sit down or you just wanna grab something and walk around as well. There is even a huge courtyard area where you can sit outside and have a laptop. Have a meeting and enjoy your coffee as well. I came here several times during my visit to Atlanta for both meals as well as shopping as well as some service work too I would definitely be coming back here again and look forward to more of the empty spaces being filled up with more stores and more food options

This is an outdoor higher end mixed use shopping center in Buckhead at Peachtree and Pacesferry…read more Many shops moved here from Phipps when this party central part of Buckhead got refaced a while ago. It's never crowded, easy access to specific stores and restaurants being that it's an outdoor shopping center and has relaxed vibe, wide sidewalks with ample parking. I like shopping here. This location is more convenient for me than Phipps and less time consuming. The shops I enjoy here are Ferguson, Wolford, Warby Parker, Bella Cucina, Gallery Anderson and others. Many shops come and go here but Shake Shack, le Bilboquet and Hermes have endured. Fado is still here too. Recently on a drizzly weekend, I came here for an art fest. It was wonderful with many more local artists than other festivals and it wasn't crowded:). I noticed many more local quality craftsmen like blacksmith, woodworkers and leather artisans than Chastain and Dogwood festivals... perhaps a revival? Price is higher but things tend to be often luxury oriented. Service is very good at all the stores. They are attentive, friendly and helpful. Much better than even Nordy's. Parking is paid street and deck. The shops here validate parking in the deck. Overall, Buckhead Village has been a great addition to the area. It's better suited for Atlantans and tourists alike.
