THIS REVIEW IS SOLELY PERTAINING TO BOSTONIAN CLARK STORE…read more When I entered the store, I was greeted by the associate at the checkout desk and began looking for the item I came for. I found the last pair of boots in this size i was looking for but they were in terrible condition--scuffed and beat up to the point that they looked like a return. I asked if there were any others in the back. The associate checked and confirmed this was the only pair. She kindly offered to use a product to clean one boot, which improved its appearance. I thanked her and asked if she could do the same for the other boot. At that point, what I assume was the store manager turned around and said, "Ma'am, it's just a demonstration. We sell the product, and we're only supposed to do one boot." I explained that I wasn't asking for a discount or a freebie--I simply wanted to purchase boots that looked new. Her response? "We sell the product, and we're only supposed to do one shoe." I was stunned. I told her she was missing the point: the boots looked worn, and I was asking for a quick cleanup so they looked like a new item. She refused. I walked out, deciding not to spend my money with people who clearly didn't want the sale. Later, because my brother really wanted those boots and time was short, I went back to buy them. Ironically, when I returned, the boots had been cleaned up and looked much better both pairs --exactly what I had asked for earlier. So, the store lost the sale initially because the manager refused to provide basic customer service. I cannot understand why it was such a big deal to clean both boots for a paying customer. I wasn't asking for a discount or special treatment--just a product that looked new. Instead, I was met with attitude and inflexibility. This experience was disrespectful and showed a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. The only reason I completed the purchase was because it was the only store with that size and style, and my brother insisted. Otherwise, I would have gladly driven an hour to another location or ordered online. Moving forward, I will never shop at that store again. This store needs serious training--especially the manager--to understand that the goal is to maximize sales and treat customers with respect, not to flex authority at the expense of service.

We parked at one end of the strip and walked the whole place and circled back by going down the line of shops across the way. It's not really pedestrian friendly but doable. There is a little bit of everything there. The whole complex was clean. The restroom was clean and included toilet covers which is nice. It also had this huge rocking chair perhaps for nursing mothers? Or just anyone to rest a minute. The stores were all clean and the staff everywhere were so welcoming. Saying hello when we came in and thanks for coming when we left. It was crazy how many people worked at the Coach store. There is a little bit of everything including two children's stores and a few athletic places. It's a great place to shop For shoes especially sneakers. We will definitely be back.

GO AHEAD, GIVE IT A CHANCE!…read more Wow, such scathing reviews! I don't live in the area and I don't know the history of this mall so my review is from the perspective of an out of town visitor. This mall is located across the road from the University, (great move!) and from the outside it appears old and dated. However, when we went inside, we noticed that the place was very bright and sparkling clean. I love the open design, the split food-court, generously sized play area for kids, the super cool double-decker carousel and overall vibe. When we were there, we did not encounter many people but as we perused the major anchor stores, (Dillard's and Macy's), we only encountered friendly employees. The mall appeared to be a mixture of mid-level stores but did have something to fit every budget. There was also a barbershop and nail salon available. They had great seating areas consisting of benches and upholstered seats as well. I love their comfortable carpet that runs throughout the mall. It felt very good and provided nice cushioning. My husband and I found it very odd that an At Home store could be accessed from within the mall. It was actually one of the anchors! Why not? This is the changing face of the American mall. While my favorite stores here were relatively small, that was to be expected considering this is a much smaller community. However, if your needs are simple, they will probably have what you need. Personally, I was very disappointed in their lack of quality shoe stores and think that they need to work toward improving the available options. A great choice if you are looking for more urban options or comfortable spot for your morning stroll. ***This mall does have a police presence. We observed three officers in the short time that we visited and felt perfectly safe during our entire visit.

This mall has been around since I was little. I came to visit and stopped by here and the stores…read moreare still few and struggling. A bunch of locals come here still. Malls always bring in the younger crowd, too, as a hang out. I took 3 of my 4 kids with me and ended up at the "new" arcade. The A/C was bust so it was hot. My kids overlooked it but for me, it was tough to play when you are sweating. Any mall with a theater is a nice addition.

The big departments stores here are JCPenney, Sears, Dillards, and Goody's. There's also American Eagle, Aeropostale, Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works, Hallmark, Rue 21, Payless, Spencer's, Avon, Icing, Claire's, etc. Campus Spirit sells a lot of Alabama & Auburn items if you're into that. You can get a haircut at Mastercuts or Regis. Regis is more expensive and busier, but there's a reason for that. Moon Day Spa offers eyebrow threading & waxing for $10. You can also catch a movie at Amstar Cinemas, which is the only movie theater in the area. The food court doesn't offer a lot to choose from. Sbarros shut down recently. There's still a Chick-fil-A, Great American Cookies, Max Orient, and American Deli. I usually eat at American Deli, which has decent gyros & a really yummy peach punch.
