This mall needs a facelift on the exterior. It's a good size mall. Some stores to shop to name a few are Spencer's, Journey's, Powercoin, Markezza Jeweler's, Victoria's Secret, Bath and Body, Anime Station, Aerpostale, At Home, American Eagle, Buckle, Casanova, Claire's, Citi Trends, Dilliard's , Foor locker, Forever 21, GameStop and many more. There is a food court available, kids play area and a carousel as well. I enjoyed myself here. I would return again when back in town to visit my sister and family. read more

Family knew I was at the mall. I was going to spend some money. There was a dress I wanted to buy at Dilliards and I just wanted to get out and shop since I hadn't in a while. The mall was bustling. Seeing the people made me feel good. I went straight to the department where I found one of the very dresses I wanted. There was only one in my size. I wasn't loving the color but as I considered this dress, I received a text that a gunpowder- sniffing dog might be roaming the mall. What my family also knew is that I have a permit to carry a concealed weapon. I imagined the humiliation I might suffer if a dog sniffed me and I, a grandmother, a contributor to society, a taxpayer, an American, was treated like a common criminal instead of what I am, a woman with a right to privacy and the concealed enjoyment of believing I might be able to protect myself if I am attacked. That lone dog and his walker is not enough protection against bad people at the mall. I never saw him. I paid for the one dress and left. I left that mall and went straightaway to another one and they got much more money than what I spent at the Peachtree Mall. I had only spent $50 on that dress at Peachtree but I spent $1000 at the next place which didn't have the dog. What Peachtree needs is more security employees patrolling the place, period. It doesn't need to be a place where good, law-abiding citizens have to choose between self-defense or being outed out of their privacy by a d-mn dog! And, now that the place has gone to the dog, I hope another mall will rise up and welcome every good citizen with a gun so that we are not the targets!!!! for bad guys who know that we permitted, concealed-carry, God-fearing Americans are the ONLY ones who follow the gun laws. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. I bought my daughter a pair of air Jordans for her birthday. I was unaware they knowingly ran big so after she tried them on we decided to exchange because they were so big they fell off her feet when she would walk. This was all she wanted for her birthday & I worked hard to buy her these shoes. Saturday 4/15 in the afternoon we visited Sports Addition to exchange & buy myself a pair of shoes. The manager stopped me to inspect the shoes I was returning as we were walking back to pick out a new pair. He very rudely told me the shoes do not lie and these were unsellable. I told him they had been wore once when trying on inside our home & he again told me the shoes don't lie. I asked for corporates number & while I was waiting his staff all approached me with him still present. My 9yo was so scared she was crying because I had 4 or 5 people yelling at me. The biggest thing for me is that the thin girl with pigtail braids & glasses told me I might need to sweep my floor. I tried addressing this but the manager said nothing & it just went sideways all around. As I was walking out after I got corporates number these women all yelled at me & my 9yo to get out of their store like they were kicking me out. As someone who has worked in customer service my entire life this was the worst retail experience I have EVER had. For a manager to allow the behavior he did is a disgrace. Yes, I was an upset customer but instead of de escalating the situation his team hyped it up which goes totally against anything I have ever learned. With that being said the manager who worked when I bought the shoes was funny & very presentable. I am assuming he is in a higher position in management & I hope this situation reaches him. We will never buy from any Hibbets again if this goes unaddressed. We may just be one family but I am sure I won't be the only person to experience this there. read more

The Verizon Store at Peachtree Mall, Columbus Georgia, exploits the elderly, disabled, and veterans. I fall in all the categories mentioned. Recently I had a problem with my S2 Gear watch phone. I was in the Peachtree Mall and stopped to get professional advice from the Verizon store. I did not know until today that there was a difference between a Corporate Verizon store and an authorized/franchised store. Today my wife and I stopped by the Verizon store off of Veterans Parkway the sales representative opened my account and her face was worth a thousand words. The Tab A tablet purchased from the Peachtree Verizon store (franchise) 2 weeks ago for $250 was on a special for $99.00 thru the corporate stores. The NOTE 8 I purchased from the franchise store for $400.00 more than its current retail value is no longer carried by the corporate VERIZION stores. My wife looked at me and I was embarrassed and ashamed. On the way home she said, "don't worry, let it be a $650.00 lesson learned." Then she said, "share your lesson with everyone using social media so they do not get sucked into spending hundreds more at a franchise store compared to a Verizon Corporate store." I would hate to see young Soldiers on "family day" get ripped off like this old GRUNT did. Lesson learned, DO NOT shop at a Verizon franchise store especially Peachtree Mall Columbus, Georgia. GO AHEAD, GIVE IT A CHANCE! Wow, such scathing reviews! I don't live in the area and I don't know the history of this mall so my review is from the perspective of an out of town visitor. This mall is located across the road from the University, (great move!) and from the outside it appears old and dated. However, when we went inside, we noticed that the place was very bright and sparkling clean. I love the open design, the split food-court, generously sized play area for kids, the super cool double-decker carousel and overall vibe. When we were there, we did not encounter many people but as we perused the major anchor stores, (Dillard's and Macy's), we only encountered friendly employees. The mall appeared to be a mixture of mid-level stores but did have something to fit every budget. There was also a barbershop and nail salon available. They had great seating areas consisting of benches and upholstered seats as well. I love their comfortable carpet that runs throughout the mall. It felt very good and provided nice cushioning. My husband and I found it very odd that an At Home store could be accessed from within the mall. It was actually one of the anchors! Why not? This is the changing face of the American mall. While my favorite stores here were relatively small, that was to be expected considering this is a much smaller community. However, if your needs are simple, they will probably have what you need. Personally, I was very disappointed in their lack of quality shoe stores and think that they need to work toward improving the available options. A great choice if you are looking for more urban options or comfortable spot for your morning stroll. ***This mall does have a police presence. We observed three officers in the short time that we visited and felt perfectly safe during our entire visit. read more

Don't get caught in one of the large stores close to closing time. They don't make announcements and will just let you wander around until you see the closed doors and you have to walk around the entire outside of the mall at night to the other side because they won't let you come in through a main entrance to get to your car. Definitely didn't feel safe at night there. read more

Decent mall, not the best but not the worst that I've been too. Plenty of shoe stores but everytime I go they never have my size in any shoe. Especially when it comes to Jordans or any exclusive nike. The clothing stores are pretty good, but they come and go as retail is dying down. Food court is great, love the choices. It's the only mall in Columbus, but not the only shopping area. It has the typical stores, but the quality of the people is terrible. Considering it seems big, it's actually small, and the food court is garbage. Columbus Park Crossing and the Landings are A LOT better to shop at. read more

This mall can barely be called a mall. The crowd is questionable and the store selection caters heavily to a micro-market. If you have a set of 28 inch rims on your 1995 Crown Vic, have a $7k dollar paint job on your $4k dollar car, owe back child support and hate it when your new Jordan's get stepped on...well this is the place for you. Its a bit of a car show in the parking lot with all sorts of personalization and music. The mall itself has a strange layout that requires you walk through Dillard's to get to the back of the Mall. Of note is a cool Video gaming hub that rates its own review...too bad I don't play games. Don't waste your time with the food court. Bottom line, this is a good place to pick up a pair of sneakers and the latest urban styles, otherwise...avoid it. read more

Another place I have not seen in over 16 years, but at least it has changed. A different configuration having to go through Dillard's to get to other side of mall. More of a hangout for younger people, but plenty of stores to shop at and a good sized food court. Also has a movie theater and a Ruby Tuesday's. Security does circle the parking lots pretty regularly so no issues outside. Not a big mall, but ok for small city. read more

I am scared to step foot in this mall. Last year there were 2 shootings within the same month INSIDE the mall. My mom and I went in once and were harrassed by some thugs in the parking lot. It was scary. My husband is in the military so it's not like we had a choice to live here. The mall inside has lots of great stores and a kiddie area to let your kiddos run off some energy. Too bad its ghetto city! I have to get my wedding set cleaned every 6 months and this is the nearest jeweler so I have no choice but to come here twice a year. I try to come early when they first open. My thought is that the trash that makes this city bad are probably still sleeping from a long night of mischief. Love how it's less then 5 mins away. It's kind of small compared to what I'm used to. Sephora is accessed thru JC Penny. So many shoe stores. Malls atmosphere seems a little boring. Not sure if there was a kids arcade other than the play area for little toddlers. Also, I'm sure the cleaner and that one employee at "as seen on tv" seemed odd. Like they were high! Smh! I wasn't impressed too much. It also seems like you enter the entire mall through Macy's but I could be wrong. Also, if you're a shopkick user. Lets see, where to begin? First of all William T., you have no clue. A mall as it ages always has stores leave and then the spaces are rented again. Sometimes with some reconfiguration. The Landings as a brand new strip center has had 12 stores fail. Not decide to move. A mall needs stores to close in order to bring in "new blood". When I was in the retail industry most leases were set to expire at the end of December, January or February to take advantage of the Christmas Shopping Season. Walden books closed over 200 stores, Bombay went bankrupt nation wide. Now as Bill CLinton said when he was running for President, "It is the economy stupid". RIght now there are not too many cash happy retail chains out there looking to expand into new markets. At least not until the Economy turns around . Also take into account, when you buy a home it takes three months on average from the time someone says they want it, until they move in. Negotiating 500 page leases does not happen overnight. I am not sure about Peachtree but with most centers you might not see anything happening but typically, leases are being negotiated, plans are being drawn, permits are being gathered etc. Concerning the layout. When Peachtree expanded in the early 90's (?) Dillards was made bigger and the rest was added on. Due to the Land Lock Against Manchester Expressway, Best buy the Airport and the old Bill Heard why would you tear down a giant building like DIllards to move it to another end and then where would Penney's be? If you want to walk a strip mall and go from one parking lot to another in Columbus then go to the Landings, do not forget your deodorant, because outdoors you will do a lot of sweating. If you want to be in air conditioning and have your family have multiple food choices yet able to still sit at the same table then go to Peachtree. For the rude comment about being safe walking to your car. Maybe you should move to Iowa? This is the population mix we have in Columbus and I applaud Peachtree for having stores that reach the entire spectrum of the Columbus Market. read more

I love this Mall! It is home to all my favorite stores. They have excellent staff here and yes even security. Things that have happened in the past were not due to the mall itself but people that do not know how to act accordingly. I always feel safe shopping here. Hot Topic gets a lot of my paycheck along with IFixandRepair because I am accident prone and break a lot of things lol. read more

My daughter went into Macy's on veterans day with her boyfriend who is in the Army. A very aggressive sales lady at the fragrance/ makeup counter demanded their ids. My daughter is only 20 and gave they lady her ID. They tried to get them back but the woman ignored them for at least 20 minutes. Come to find out she had put in a credit application for a Macy's card without my daughter's permission. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. read more
