THIS REVIEW IS SOLELY PERTAINING TO BOSTONIAN CLARK STORE. When I entered the store, I was greeted by the associate at the checkout desk and began looking for the item I came for. I found the last pair of boots in this size i was looking for but they were in terrible condition--scuffed and beat up to the point that they looked like a return. I asked if there were any others in the back. The associate checked and confirmed this was the only pair. She kindly offered to use a product to clean one boot, which improved its appearance. I thanked her and asked if she could do the same for the other boot. At that point, what I assume was the store manager turned around and said, "Ma'am, it's just a demonstration. We sell the product, and we're only supposed to do one boot." I explained that I wasn't asking for a discount or a freebie--I simply wanted to purchase boots that looked new. Her response? "We sell the product, and we're only supposed to do one shoe." I was stunned. I told her she was missing the point: the boots looked worn, and I was asking for a quick cleanup so they looked like a new item. She refused. I walked out, deciding not to spend my money with people who clearly didn't want the sale. Later, because my brother really wanted those boots and time was short, I went back to buy them. Ironically, when I returned, the boots had been cleaned up and looked much better both pairs --exactly what I had asked for earlier. So, the store lost the sale initially because the manager refused to provide basic customer service. I cannot understand why it was such a big deal to clean both boots for a paying customer. I wasn't asking for a discount or special treatment--just a product that looked new. Instead, I was met with attitude and inflexibility. This experience was disrespectful and showed a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. The only reason I completed the purchase was because it was the only store with that size and style, and my brother insisted. Otherwise, I would have gladly driven an hour to another location or ordered online. Moving forward, I will never shop at that store again. This store needs serious training--especially the manager--to understand that the goal is to maximize sales and treat customers with respect, not to flex authority at the expense of service. read more

This was our first time at this particular Tanger mall location. It's nice there are signs coming off the highway to get you there quickly. It's right off the highway which is nice. We parked at one end of the strip and walked the whole place and circled back by going down the line of shops across the way. It's not really pedestrian friendly but doable. There is a little bit of everything there. The whole complex was clean. The restroom was clean and included toilet covers which is nice. It also had this huge rocking chair perhaps for nursing mothers? Or just anyone to rest a minute. The stores were all clean and the staff everywhere were so welcoming. Saying hello when we came in and thanks for coming when we left. It was crazy how many people worked at the Coach store. There is a little bit of everything including two children's stores and a few athletic places. It's a great place to shop For shoes especially sneakers. We will definitely be back. read more

I finally made my way to the Tanger Outlet Mall, and overall it was a nice experience. While I enjoyed getting out of the house and seeing what it had to offer, I realized that I personally prefer the Premium Outlets. The pricing didn't really feel like true outlet discounts to me--maybe it was just the timing of my visit. That said, it was still fun to experience, walk around, and see what I'd been missing. I'm glad I went, even if it's not my go-to outlet spot. read more

I've been to this outlet many times, shopping with my family. Old Navy, Carter's and GAP stores, is my favorite. There are many stores here and also a bathroom, if needed. I'm here shopping with my husband and grandkids. We always find something here, and discounts. So I'm sure this trip is worth it. :-) read more

Retail therapy, south of Atlanta. This huge outdoor shopping mall has all the manufacturers represented here. I did not spot any bargains today. I think outlet malls aren't what they used to be. What was really unhelpful was the "Alternate Exit" that takes you way way way out and around the back to still get onto the same road to reach the highway. Speedbumps and still waiting in a queue. I usually stop by here whenever I am passing through. It is a good place to take a break from the road and do a bit of shopping. Normally it is not too busy, but today it was rather busy. Anyway, it has the usual stores that you would find in Tanger outlets. One of my main go to's is Ralph Lauren. They also have a store with multiple olive oil selections. This outlet is convenient to I-75, just off the exit, so, as I said, it is a convenient place to shop and stretch your legs. read more

This Tanger Outlet location sits alongside I-75 in Locust Grove and boasts around 65 retailers. Parking is plentiful as the outlet is quite large, so while you may not find parking directly in front of the store you want, you will certainly find parking! This place and exit get very busy, especially on the weekends and during the holidays. We usually swing in on our way back from Macon, and on occasion we will head this direction on a weekday if we decide not to head north to the Woodstock Outlets. A few of my favorite spots here are The Nike Factory Outlet, Old Navy Outlet and the Great American Cookie...because with every new shirt and pair of shoes you get at a discounted price, you reward yourself with a cookie! Overall, if you have been to one Tanger then you have been to majority of them. This location is your standard Tanger outlet with wide variety of stores and a few eateries. We will certainly be back when the need arises! read more

Regarding the store AllStar Elite at your Locust Grove location. It is bringing down the reputation of Tanger Outlets. I have shop at this Tanger outlet last various stores for years and have nothing but excellent experiences. I had the worst experience at the Allstar Elite store yesterday evening 4/26 @ 7pm. At the outlet shopping at other stores and my son wanted to go in.the store advertised buy 1 get to free jerseys the mens were $125 the kids were $80 I asked the sales girl Kyra /Kara if it applies to the kids jersey too and she said yes. Going to check out it rings up for $80 and she changed the price in the system to $125. Then goes on to tell me it's the same "sale" price as the men's. When I explained to her that doesn't make sense it's a kids jersey and the tag says $80 she proceeded to start cussing and carrying on about she's had a long day and ain't in the mood. If I don't want it put it back and get out the store. Calls her manager cussing and carrying on and he condoned her behavior saying she told me wrong they are not buy 1 get 2 free they are 3 for $125 even the kids. I never raised my voice or responded. I just exited the store. My son was so disappointed. It's not even the price or the bait and switch it's the terrible customer service. If that was my employee there is no way that I would allow her to act so unprofessional. The employees working there are rude and nasty and the "manager" JT is terrible also. This is a company that specializes in "urban" wear marketing to a young demographic where the employees have no customer service skills and give your entire company a bad reputation. read more

We went on Saturday around 5/6ish which was a GREAT time! We didn't have to stand in lines to get into stores & it wasn't crowded . ALOT of ppl wore their mask and most stores required mask be worn when entering their stores. It was clean & just a breath of fresh air to shop in peace and get exactly what I wanted to get. I haven't been there in years, alot of new stores were added. I'll go back for sure! read more

Love having the employees at each location having customers wear mask before entering each store. Hand sanitizer was readily available upon entering. I didn't witness any temp checks though. I went today 9/1/20 long lines everywhere, but they all moved fairly quickly. Just be prepared to wait and have patience. read more

This location is decent. It beats driving up North and the have my favorites here: Torrid, Ralph Lauren Lane Bryant, The Loft, Clarke's, and Coach. Not listed in any particular no order! Unless it's the Xmas holiday season, then it's typically not too crowded. I always feel safe, but then again I feel safe in Downtown Atlanta. So maybe you should take that with a grain of salt. I am not the scary kind! I can say that I notice elderly people walking around the Outlet for exercise so I think that is a good sign. There is a decent liquor store, Smash Burger and QT right outside of the Outlet. And even a store that sells cowboys boots that I am dragged into often by my husband because he is a Black Redneck. So there are several places to shop right outside of the Outlet and plenty of Chain Restaurants. read more

Outlets!!!!!!!!!!!! They just make me wanna shop! This location is right off the 75s in Locust Grove.... Plenty of parking, but guess what there will more than likely be a bit of a crowd... (Be ready) This is exercise folks! a good walk around after you park and there is no need to run back to the car except for dropping off bags. After a day of shopping/exercise you can find something to eat just outside the outlet plaza. My favorite stores are, Polo Ralph L, Jones New York, coach, Nike, Aeropostle and Levi, college collectibles, Kay's jewelers, loft, nine west, j.crew, Claire's, Corning Ware corelle&more, the children's place Just to name a few.... Of course there are many others but these stores I'm sure to stop in while I'm spending money. I always have a limit to my spending, but I get caught atleast $100 over every time. I enjoy this location when going up or down I75, as an excuse to make a pit stop during a long drive. This Tanger outlets has everything my sister and I needed. From J. Crew and Banana Republic to Coach and Kate Spade, there are great brands for less! Be sure to check the Tanger outlet website for deals or sales. Food options are limited to no names or chain restaurants, as they usually are at outlet malls. Most of the food options are scattered around the mall, rather than in a centralized area. I'll have to say, my favorite outlet mall is still North Georgia Premium outlets, but Tanger at Locust Grove is definitely most convenient. read more

Love going to any Tanger Outlet! This one is located about 40 miles outside ATL city limits. It is set up more like a strip mall as opposed to a typical outlet (if you know what I mean). Not the best outlet mall I've been to. Not enough seats to relax on for a minute after shopping. Small parking lot, cars jockeying for spaces. I had a good time here. They have a lot of great stores. No movado though. :( They don't offer a military discount but they give $20 off when you spend over $200. Which was cool. The coach store had a lot of variety. Michael kors , Clark's, and kate spade we having some good sales. Kate spade had some secret finds. I ended up with a nice crock handbag for $165. I stop here every time I pass through heading to Atlanta, I always find something great. read more

This is the ideal walking mall A pleasant combination of stores, restaurants and benches with plenty of parking. There are clothing stores for all different age groups. There are fashionable stores for all different body sizes. From stores for baby fashion, shoes stores, casual wear, high end fashion, sport fan fashion stores, under wear stores, jewelry stores and two restaurants. Family friendly mall. Most customer service workers are very friendly to clients and customers. A safe environment for shopping. During the winter holidays, it had beautiful decorations. Last weekend Henry, the kids, and myself spent the day at Tanger Outlets in Locust Grove. We arrived home around 9 PM Saturday night. Exhausted, from the full day of shopping and walking we quickly unloaded the truck and sorted items, noticing that my items from Aeropostale were missing. The next day we realized all items from Aero were missing and some shoes we bought for our two year old. Monday morning I emailed the general questions and concerns contact email for Tanger Outlets inquiring about a lost and found. My email was quickly routed to Holly with customer service at the Locust Grove location. Holly expressed her sorrow for our lost items and then asked me a series of questions to help identify them in the event the items had been turned it. I didn't have much hope for finding the items, but I honestly wanted the little rain boots for our toddler. Holly checked with stores and possible locations we could have left the bags in, but unfortunately the items were not found. Holly asked for additional contact information just incase a Good Samaritan turned in our bags. A day or so later I was contacted via phone and told my items had been found. We left them in Rack Room Shoes. Which was great but now present a new issue, logistics, since we leave a few hours away I couldn't just run to the outlets and pick them up. We decided to store the items in the office at the outlets until I was scheduled to return to the area in October. I was relieved the items had been found and content with the storage option. Holly, however; doubled down with awesome customer service, and emailed me to express her joy that our items were found and proved that Tanger Outlet truly appreciates their customers by offering to ship the items to us via UPS. Elated, I thanked her and gave her our mailing address and within a matter of minutes a tracking number arrived. Last night when we arrived home the box in the picture above was sitting on our doorstep and in it all of our forgotten/missing items. We were blessed to have such a great experience with Tanger Outlet at Locust Grove and Holly. Holly you are truly an amazing example of customer service and I plan to share my experience with my business students during our customer service lessons. You and Tanger Outlets did not have to work so hard to find our items. You didn't have to care. You didn't have to rush them via UPS to my home. Dear Good Samaritan thank you for your honesty and returning our bags when we were so careless with them. I will continue to shop at Tanger Outlets. Thank you Tanger and thank you Holly! read more
