I was on a road-trip and my brake lights and turn signals were going out. I called Jim's and asked…read moreif they could check my car out. They said they were full up but if I could wait a little they might be able to squeeze me in. I came in and in about 10mins, I was seen. I saw racks of cars up but because Jim (the owner I presume) didn't want me on the road without working lights, he saw to me immediately. He even checked over my tires and fluids to make sure I was all good. He replaced one bulb and tied up some electrical wires from my hitch so they wouldn't drag. Excellent service, friendly, genuine and just the nicest and most kind interaction I've had in awhile. The added bonus? He didn't charge me (FREE!) and he gave me a yummy bag of popcorn! I offered to pay but he wouldn't hear it. I gave him a grateful hug instead. Wished I lived in the area, he'd definitely be my new mechanic!

I am so glad that I have chosen Jim's Automotive as my go-to place for my car. Very knowledgeable,…read morereliable and kind! Heather is super helpful and really cares. They also were willing and able to install one side window rain deflector for me after I had bought a set of 4 from a local auto parts store and had successfully installed 3 out of the 4 but just couldn't get the 4th one in myself. The auto parts stores all told me no to helping me. But Jim's Automotive was willing and professional and was able to get the deflector in correctly! Thank you so much Jim's Automotive!

I had a Pop Up camper that I paid to store in an HOA storage lot. They stopped billing us for it…read moreand unbeknownst to me had it booted, towed and impounded at Mat Dog - even though it had a permit. Up to that point my issue is with the HOA. I was VERY displeased to learn when I called in to find out where the camper was (who checks a storage lot every day?) that Mat Dog had kept it for 8 DAYS before contacting me to let me know they had it - and that contact only happened because I went looking for it. Temple (the owner?) basically told me that they could wait 10 days legally before they had to call. But why would anyone wait that long?? Oh right - because they charge $30 each day - and why not make $300 extra dollars by avoiding resolving an obvious issue. They could not meet me when I tried to show up that day during business hours - but said they wouldn't charge more than the [unnecessary] 8 days, only to have the driver that met me the following morning reply with 'we charged you for 12 days'. And that was on top of towing and booting charges. Almost $600!!! If I owned a towing company - and wanted to do as their website claims: "to serve the people of Carbondale and the surrounding area as best we can... We pride ourselves on the reputation that we have built over the years for excellent customer service" I would probably start by calling an unsuspecting person on DAY 1 to let them know I had their property, and not just let the bill rack up for the sole purpose of financial gain at their expense. And I've owned a successful company in the valley for over 17 years - and have seen unethical companies come and go during that time. At no point was Temple interested in making this right. No 'hey - my bad for not calling you... I'll just charge you for the tow and 2 days'. That leaves me with no other conclusion than this company is run unethically, and as such - I recommend avoiding them at all costs.
