They both did a fantastic job and were so fun, chatty, and attentive. Ashlyn, the receptionist, was lovely over the phone when we made our appointments and was equally delightful in the salon! She was hanging out and talking with us. For almost the whole time, we had the salon to ourselves which made for a wonderful, private experience. If I ever find myself in need of hair and make up services in Healdsburg again, I will absolutely go back. I loved the time spent with these ladies and we strutted out looking like superstars thanks to them!

One couldn't use any product due to sensitivities (and she looked amazing!), one had very thick hard to hold hair, and one had very curly hair! She was prepared for everything. I did quite a bit of research and finally decided on Brush due to the high ratings and Healdsburg location. After trying to contact the owners and manager of the salon and getting no response, I felt it necessary to go on Yelp and warn anyone wanting a Brazilian Blow out to NOT have it done here. I could not have been more unhappy with the service, unfortunately. These treatments are not cheap, by the way...$300+, which is worth it since typically your hair will stay smooth and frizz free for up to 3 months. Mine did not last 2 weeks - even after I had gone out and purchased all the mandatory shampoos and conditioners to keep it looking good after the treatment. Red hair can be a challenge, and I guess mine was too much for my stylist. My stylist unfortunately wasn't up to the challenge - and I am out over $350 for the service. Very poor customer service, too, that no one could return my two emails. My stylist was very nice and personable, and the salon was beautiful - but I will NEVER be returning after the service I had done, and the lack of customer service I experienced.

It keeps communication clear and hair stylist have to juggle a lot of things besides pricing. They have to give you the perfect cut, can't talk too little or too much, engage in active listening while using precision. If I was worried about pricing- I would make that clear when I sat down. I have previously seen Kaitlyn, who always has been absolutely spectacular. Perhaps it was my own fault for assuming that everyone would be able to replicate Kaitlyn's work but after I got home and tried to settle it myself I realized it was not at all what I had asked for. I wouldn't even say it was necessarily a bad cut, but very different than I was looking for. I don't want to name the stylist as I think she did try her best, it just wasn't a good fit for me. She was kind and friendly and I think for other people she would probably do some great cuts, it just wasn't good on my hair or what I had hoped for. The most frustrating part was that I did call to try and see if I could get in to have somebody fix my hair, because it was not what I asked for. I called twice. The first time the phone disconnected, which was probably nothing to do with them. I was calling from Ukiah and service there is patchy sometimes. However, I did call again the next day and left a message asking for someone to return my call and never received one. I didn't leave a whole lot of detail in the message, but I did leave my name and phone number and let them know that I just gotten my haircut and I would like to have some thing redone. I would've happily paid to have Kaitlyn fix my hair, but I never got a call back. I will say that the person I went to at another salon confirmed that there were no layers as I had requested, and that my bangs were not even as the stylist had barely brushed them out. Sassy's Salon was able to get me in fairly quickly and did fix my hair in under a half an hour which I was incredibly grateful for.

Laura does a beautiful job with my hair. She colors it exactly how I want it every time. I have a…read morehabit of turning red and brassy which has been a constant battle with most of the stylists I have gone to. They would get it correct once and then not the next time. I have been seeing Laura for several years now and her coloring has been spot on every time. I am grateful to have found her and the salon.
