I now have spent 3 years at PSP. I've sent two children through the program. And If you're looking…read morefor somewhere to send your little ones, look no further. There's a sense of community that will make you feel at home, SAFE! They're so kind and helpful with any questions you may have about your little one. I've learned sooo much helpful information through the parent classes, and from my children's teachers. I wish my kids could go here throughout high school! They do tuition based off a pay scale according to your income, and that's a game changer. I can't tell you how much this school changed my life. Plus the office manager, Shunnecia, is wonderful. She remembers every child's name and their caregivers! 10/10 would highly recommend.

PART 1: Let's get straight into it,…read more From the beginning I was well aware that this establishment was not 100% African American friendly, especially for a black male. In my mistakes, I still decided to give them a chance in beliefs that even being you would rather have a facility without black children if a parent did the due diligence to get their child a space there, maybe you would except him like others and not treat him differently because the color of his skin. I WAS WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!! This truthfully started way before the school year started with this mandatory orientation that I did make time to attend. I asked upfront did the child have to be present they told me no. I attend the orientation without my son, afterwards I called emailed with little to no communication no one was providing the necessary actions to be taken for the next step of registration. After making a second trip to the facility they told me I didn't qualify to move to the next step because I didn't bring my son to the orientation, I clearly stated that I asked if it was mandatory for him to attend you all said no, but fine set me up for another orientation and I'll bring him. I politely sat through another 2hr orientation to receive the exact same information so that I could register my child. Following I did everything that was asked of me to secure his spot from payments to paperwork. Fast forward, last Wednesday was teacher meet and greet. Wasn't too fun of the teachers Kim and Mary from the initial encounter. My son started crying when it was time to put away toys as any normal 3yr would, Kim decided to slightly touch my back to rush me towards the door saying alrighty see you guys tomorrow like basically hurry up and get out. Thursday was his first day of school, energy not very welcoming with high vibrations, they never say good morning unless you speak first, well take that back...they do just not to myself of my child. Friday he was absent. Returned on Monday. Monday I approached the classroom, Kim handed my a form to sign but never said good morning, I said GOOD MORNING once I get him situated I'll get the form from you. Please don't start talking to me and asking things of me at 8 o'clock in the morning without addressing me with the appropriate manners that you may or may not have been raised with. Tuesday just completely took the cake. Carpool starts at 8:15am. If you want to walk your child in at 8am you can do so. When I arrived at 7:59 there were about 20 parents standing out front. Mrs. Shunecia opened the door and let us in, I walked my son around to the class and once again no good morning but this Kim lady wants to start a conversation and asking me questions. She asked did I carpool, I said carpool starts at 8:15 it's 8am. Then she turned to another teacher and asked were there other parents in the building as if I mysteriously somehow snuck into the building. As a woman with a master's degree and owner of 3 successful businesses please don't insult my intelligence. How about you master the policies and procedures and times that your establishment put in place so that you don't have to learn them from the parent being this is my first day and your 7th year. Ridiculous. The morning started so negative that when I got to work I wanted to go back and get my child. Instead I emailed Lella the director. After going back and forth via email from 8am-3pm we really only went in circles. Only justifying why Kim and Mary have been the way they have. That they are great teachers and her grandson had a great experience with them. Granted her grandson is not Black. Therefore the experience you received and the experience I received are completely different. She goes on to say, my son is unintelligible which is highly insulting being you knew he required speech therapy all the way back from orientation that you so proudly offered. So to insult a 3yr old that is still learning is "unintelligible" and disgusting if you ask me.
