The Good: You walk in the door and there is cookies and coffee for you. Who wants to be at the dentist without your morning coffee? The staff is friendly and personable. Lots of chatter about the family and kids and such. Hygienists are friendly and fast. Dr. Mazzuchelli tends for the least invasive options first and if you're seeing him regularly, generally he doesn't need to drill anything. The Bad: The office is in an old strip mall that's seen better days. The whole place is kinda small and there aren't many rooms. I don't really care about the look that much because the people and service matter to me. Others might want a more modern office. The Tech: They use digital sensors for the xrays so that reduces the amount of radiation compared to the old plate bitewings. They also have used a "sand blast" technique for cavities instead of drilling. It meant no pain for the cavity, but the inside of my mouth felt like I'd eaten captain crunch. So it's a trade off. Summary: I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Mazzuchelli to anyone and everyone who wants a good dentist. The office is thorough, fair and absolutely honest (despite other Yelper's claims).

My teeth are in perfect health so this did not seem necessary. He also told me I had 9 cavities. A couple months later I went to another dentist and he said I had no cavities and I didn't need all those unnecessary x rays. I also received a bill in the mail from Dr. Mazzuchelli stating that I owe $100 since he is not an in network dentist on my insurance. I would not recommend this establishment or dentist.

I went to a subpar dentist (check yelp review), which lead to major issues with my teeth, ie teeth shifting, infection below gum line, bad fill in work. This begins my story with West Cobb Dentist. I came in to get a deep cleaning, before getting braces, to address issue with shifting teeth. This is when we uncovered the major issues from previous dental work. To be succinct, I needed to get 7 crowns, 2 fillings and a tooth extracted. One requisite, all this work needed to be accomplished in one week, so I would be ready for my ortho appointment. Dr. Houston was thorough in her assessment of what was needed and what we could safely wait on addressing. Dr. Houston with her assistant, Trina, took on the challenge and got it done! My oral health and comfort/pain level was her utmost concern. The 4 days of intense dental work were a breeze, Dr. Houston and Trina made sure of it - whether it was a warm blanket (pretty cold in the office) or extra numbing. Dr. Houston is now my forever dentist.!! I would be remiss, if I didn't mention the front desk staff - Toya (office manager) and Margaret. Very pleasant ladies! I love the receptionist she has always been nothing but polite and very nice . However they have new staff here since my last visit . I go to the back mind you my appointment was set for 4 pm I got there by 3:30 pm . I sit down the girl tells me she's going to start off doing my x-rays and she will let me know if the dentist has time left to do my cleaning . I was introduced to Glee Dental by my mom last year when she had to receive some services. Let's just say, many of our family members are now patients there including myself. The staff is so kind, welcoming, professional, and are very transparent regarding any of the health information you should know about your oral care! Dr. O is the BEST in the game!! She educates you on what is going on and what she can/will do to help resolve many issues you may have. When receiving services, she and her Dental Hygienist/Assistants just make you feel comfortable while in the chair! May I add, she is the BEST at giving any sort of medication in the form of a shot; truly I barely feel a thing! I feel like that's important to note because I know a lot of people are afraid of needles. They encourage and educate you on what you can do at home to prevent any further damages or concerns to your oral health. I always feel like dentist are out to get you for your money BUT Dr. O do not! They truly just want to guide you to having the best oral care! After being followed to my vehicle and cussed at by the receptionist because I…read morewanted to use my insurance instead of paying cash outright, I found an outstanding dentist locally. I was able to use my insurance as well so my actual out of pocket was just over $100. While at Kennesaw Mountain they told me I needed two crowns for the two root canals I had done at the Endo. The Endo recommended a crown and a filling, (one tooth was cracked), Kennesaw Mountain Dental Associates told me I actually needed two crowns to the tune of almost $3,000. Come to find out I didn't actually need two crowns. The recommendation from the Endo was correct, all I needed was a crown and a filling this is after both dentists at my new dentist looked at the root canals done by my Endo. So in addition to being rude and lazy, they are also trying to over charge by pushing unnecessary dental procedures. Be very careful if you visit Kennesaw Mountain Dental Associates. Make sure you reach out to your insurer prior to your visit and check your coverage or they may try what they tried with me and tell you that you don't have coverage. Also if they recommend a procedure don't hesitate to hit pause, take few days and get a second opinion. It could save you thousands of dollars.
