So, I came into this nail salon because I knew that since it's in Deerbrook Mall that they would be open late. I wanted to do a powder that matched my toes and I did pick one. I get the station and a Hispanic lady started doing my nails, (not a problem just saying who.) I tell her what I want and I can already tell that she doesn't want to be there. She's doing my nails and I made a comment that the shaping was off. She then told me that, "it's ok because I'm gonna file it down." I said ok no problem. I notice she starts putting on regular acrylic and I'm like hm, why is she doing that if I picked out a color powder? She then realizes her mistake and I said it was fine that I would just pick out a polish. She paints them and leaves a mess everywhere. She didn't clean up the sides and all of the nails were not shaped correctly. I asked to speak to a manager who basically didn't care at all. She was ignoring me and seemed to not care to fix the problem. The Hispanic tech comes back and I explain to her why I'm upset. I then tell her I would just like to do shellac since it's already 8:30 pm and she did. My nails were still shaped terribly and they were not painted correctly again. Moral of the story: don't go here. They suck. read more

This place was Trash ! The Hispanic lady that did my nails rushes through my nails and when I asked for a color chart she said they didn't have one . And pointed me to a wall when I had already took off my shoes and put them in the water she gave me those sandals to walk to the front to look at the colors . It was my first time and she gave me few color selections . I picked a color I had to settle for cuz there wasn't shit else . Than when she's almost done she hands another girl a color chart WTF!? So she asked for my card and charged me and packed her things and left . My nails were not painted right at all . And the paint cans off as soon as I got home . Never come here go where they treat you with respect and have good customer service these people hate their jobs and it' shows read more

No cuts and extremely sweet. Cynthia I think her name was. Being cut is always a fear for me and I know it happens every now and again but she didn't cut me not once and was sweet as pie. She took her time and wouldn't let me go until everything was perfect. read more

I am typically serviced by Linda but she was busy so Sandra waited on me. Pedicure was fine, some nail polish on my skin but not a big deal. I also wanted a full set dip. When I questioned Sandra about the shape I requested she immediately started huffing & puffing with an attitude and Linda had to finish my nails. Linda is great... Sandra not so much. read more

I came in late afternoon on Sunday. The place is convenient and priced right. An attentive friendly spanish lady did my nails. She really did them exactly as I asked. She didnt hurt me like some places do. I got acrylic overlay and nails cut down to a short length. They had a wonderful selection of nail polish. Wait was short and they really moved people through quickly. The downside to my experience was the length of time the nail polish lasted. By day two, the nail color had chipped. Not sure if its the polish or the top coat used. Thankfully I had selected a muted pinky nude from OPI. So it wasnt terribly noticeable. I had to remove the polish and repaint my own nails on Tuesday night. I used an OPI color in similar hue only slightly more pink and a Sally Hansen strengthening top coat. They look better than they did when I left the salon except I have a lifelong struggle with painting within the lines and inevitably I manage to paint actual skin. =( I will probably return anyway. Convenient, quick and priced right. Maybe I will just take my own topcoat next time. read more

I don't know why this is labeled a 'day spa'. In reality, it's a nail salon in Deebrook Mall, and not a very good one. I suppose, mall nail salons have it easy, in that they don't have to do much to earn their business, since hundreds of people are at their disposal each day. I've been one of those people a few times, because, like most I'm sure, we find it convenient to shop and get our nails done all in the same location...it's genius! Don't be fooled by the name. It's just like the rest of them...not very nice, poor customer service, poor skills altogether really. The girl doing my pedicure pretty much 'hovered over each nail' as though she were acutally using the tool in her hand...like a robotic motion to appear she was doing all the pedi-steps in order. However, I was in a pinch and fell victim. $34 for a decent mani-pedi, in about 1 hour. Not bad. This place is definitely not a first pick, only a last resort. This place is great! The staff is always nice and helpful. Even during their busiest days they do not do any rush jobs. I have never had a problem with them in the last 3 years that I've been attending regularly. Tina, Linda and their team are very professional and very witty. Never a dull moment. Wow. That's honestly all I could say after visiting. I came in on a Monday night after my shift at the bookstore. I was tired and wanted to just hang out with my friend and her little sister so we went in. At first it was a little awkward because no one spoke to us directly. But once we established what we were there to do, they got us seated and began on all 3 of us immediately. My friend and I got acrylics with shellac and her sister got a regular manicure. I should also preface this with saying that both my friend and I went to cosmetology school and were attentively looking for things that weren't done "by the book" or just didn't seem to be protocol. I'm always leary of new nail places and I don't go often. I was immensely impressed. The length was fantastic, the color selection was amazing and the heighth of the acrylic was superb. They weren't bulky or clunky. The only "corrections" that I would give would be to get a cuticle remove and really work them back as well as soaking the nails to soften the cuticle (even for a basic mani) and then giving a little more attention during the massage portion. Get deep and find the pressure points and tension spots. I have a lot of tension in my hands and I am always looking for a really good deep massage. I believe the young lady who performed my manicure was named Kathryn? She was a darling Hispanic lady. My friends manicurist was an Asian lady that I didn't catch her name. I highly recommend them both. We will definitely be back! read more

I come here from the woodlands because Jenny does an amazing job on my nails, I love how she does my nails, and she's such a sweet girl. I wish she was much closer to where I live but I don't mind the 40 minute drive if it means good long lasting nails. Never thought a nail salon at the mall would be my regular go to place (because I've had horrible experience in the woodlands mall nail salon) but I'm glad I found Jenny. Highly recommend! Horrible! I know a thing or two about acrylics, I used to do my own, but I've gotten lazy. I came in on a Thursday and Saturday morning I noticed my nails were all already lifting. I still had my receipt and I went back to ask them to fix them. The main lady I don't know her name came up and looked at my nails after I said they were lifting after two days. She proceeds to tell me no your nails are grown out... In two days?! My nails grow very slow, I only have to go once a month to get a fill. I told her my nails didn't grow out in two days, Tina who did my nails put the acrylic all over my skin and that's why they were lifting. She then throws her hand up in the air and walks away. So another lady ended up drilling them and re-doing them, but she just drilled around the cuticle, so you can still see the air pockets in my nails. Horrible customer service. I wasn't even rude. I will not EVER be going back there. read more

This salon was very dirty. The scam is their cash business. The pedi/mani should have been $34 but charged me $54. Since it was cash, they did not give me a receipt and refused to give me a refund. When I went back for the refund, I noticed that people that paid in cash received no receipt. What a sweet deal for the salon! Nail Polish began chipping the next day. The people here were so friendly! I didn't have to wait long, the service was excellent, and my nails came out perfectly. The staff joked around with you and created a very bright atmosphere.
