You won't be able to use the kiosk to check in and depending on how busy it is, you might end up being in line for 30+ minutes to check in at the front desk. If you have an electric car, have a back up plan to charge your car. They have 4 Tesla chargers and two non-Tesla chargers. I've been told the two non-tesla ones does not work. The Tesla ones work half the time and you need to change the charge to 20amp from your car setting or it would stop charging after 5 minutes. I've also been told they plan to remove all the chargers in the near future so call ahead and ask. Sign up for their newsletter. They often have deals throughout the year and special sale on 8/4 every year. It's a fun place but everything inside is overpriced so expect to spend an extra $100 per night there if you plan on dining there as well. I've seen people pack their own lunch and drinks in a cooler and none of the staff members seem to care. There's also a mini fridge in the room and a microwave and ice machine on every floor. Bring a sweater or warm jacket. Walking out of the water park to air conditioned indoor area can be cold. In my opinion, staying on the first floor has been the more convenient. Especially the morning of checkout. You don't have to wait for the elevator and usually the elevator fills up quickly around checkout time. If you are purchasing miniature golf or bowling, buy the family deal if you have four or more people. The arcade Is a money pit, don't stay here too long or try your best to avoid it. My son loves this place and we keep coming back so they must be doing something right lol the staffs here have always been friendly so no complaints there.

Live music in the evening, great pool and hot tub--- both inside and out. Nice outdoor bar. The rooms are also very nice. There were 8 of us for the RTJ Golf Trail. Great location. Bed was comfortable. Of the 3 RTJ trail hotels we stayed at, this was the best. As per the pic, I really liked the exercise areas. They had one side as the fitness room for cycle, treadmill, elliptical and other side for strength training. Unfortunately we were only there for 1 night.

First and foremost, the room was clean and quite comfortable. We had a one bedroom suite with a double balcony overlooking one of the golf course holes. The king size bed in this room is one of the most comfortable beds that I've experienced in a Marriott property, And I average about 90-100 nights in Marriott properties per year. For the most part, the staff experience was friendly and very welcoming. Check in experience was exceptional, as was most of the bar and restaurant service. I did not get to experience the golf courses, but plan to come back and target that is a priority. Both the pool bar and hotel bar staff were excellent, professional, and very friendly. The options at both were very good. The Caesar salad at the pool bar was exceptional and the flatbread pizza was pretty good as well. The restaurant breakfast on my first morning was absolutely exceptional both in options, quality, taste and service. The biscuit bar with tomato gravy, sausage, gravy, and shrimp étouffée as options was awesome. Unfortunately, my second morning experience was not as pleasant. Different server with just poor quality service and attitude overall and the same hot foods that I enjoyed the day before or somehow lukewarm. The third morning that I went down for breakfast, it appeared there was a long line, and the hostess was the same server as I had on day, two, and appeared to be working service as well. Long story, short, I came back one more time and there was still a line about 30 minutes later so I just gave up on breakfast. I love the fact that this property has planned activities as well. They were even serving up s'mores on certain nights, had live music and other activities throughout the afternoons. Although we did not go to most of the activities, the fact that they were offered and explained was something I haven't seen it very many properties.

The first thing I want to address is that I leave reviews constantly for businesses and I rarely…read morepost a negative review. Secondly, my husband and I are owners with Wyndham. Our contract is paid off, and we only have to pay maintenance fees each month. The reason we joined Wyndham was because of the level of accommodations that were offered. We always appreciated the safety and cleanliness of Wyndham properties. Finally, I understand that "newly acquired" properties need time to be renovated, but it is probably wise not to have those properties available for owners to use...there were many points used to book this. The reason I chose this resort was because we were looking for a low-key, nature-focused retreat for my aging parents and us. I researched the area and found some fun things to do off-property but thought the amenities on-property would keep us busy. Little did I know, those amenities were not all available and were spread all over the "resort" making it difficult to navigate. I will start with my positives as they are few--the gentleman who was at the guardhouse to let us in, was very friendly. Susie, who we met with when we checked out after being on property less than 12 hours, was very helpful and understanding. Everything else was terrible. The photos available were definitely not accurate to the property. The "cottage" was disgusting. There is no one at the front desk after 5pm. We did not arrive until 9pm. After getting our envelope with keys and pitiful directions from the guardhouse, we drove around the property for a LONG time. There is limited signage and not much in the way of lighting. The property is primarily residential...and the residents are not fans of people driving the speed limit on roads they are unfamiliar with. My husband does not drive slow, and residents were driving like crazy on the roads as we were looking for our rental. Instead of writing another paragraph, I'm just going to list the issues we had with the "cottage": -broken front step -uneven floors -floor strips pulling up from the ground -all flooring was sticky -carpet was deeply stained and pulling away from the floor and walls -film/grime on the bathroom mirrors and counters -hairs on the towels and toilets -shower shelves leaning off the wall -hair dryer pulling off the wall -stairs to the loft shaking and pulling off the ground -extremely limited storage in bathrooms -mold on bathroom wall -overwhelming smell of mildew, mold, "musty" My husband tried calling Wyndham but they directed us to the property's front desk...where there was no one overnight. As soon as the front desk was open, my husband and I went in and spoke with Susie (who was great). We gave her our list of grievances and concerns. We called Wyndham again and after expressing our frustration over the property, the reinstated a little over half of our points. We left and drove to Marietta to stay in a hotel chain that we know and trust. We feel like the worst financial decision we have made as a married couple was to join Wyndham. We are looking for our options to get out. We have yet to have a Wyndham experience that has been positive from start to finish. Usually it's the annoying process of harassment for attending a meeting at check-in which sets our vacation off to a stressful and rocky start. This time, it was the rental property along with the lack of timely customer service. My parents, my husband and myself would definitely encourage readers to stay somewhere else. Wyndham, you have become a huge disappointment.

Neither kitchen had enough dishes and silverware for four people and only one had a skillet, and it was filthy. Both houses had bugs. Be prepared for spotty cell service as you travel miles off the main road into a tranquil escape. There is free parking directly in front of the clubhouse, where you will check in to enjoy your day. Venue and Atmosphere The clubhouse is recently renovated, bright, well appointed, and clean. We visited the pool and restaurant via a day pass. The pool area features lockers and showers, and they even have pool floaties that you can borrow, free of charge. The pool is large, with plenty of room for multiple groups to be inside and not bumping into anyone. There is a hot tub and adults only pool as well, however when we visited the adult pool was closed. Service Service was prompt, courteous, and efficient. Our waitress and bartender were great. They were professional and the drinks were amazing! Food and Beverages We ordered a buffalo chicken wrap, hamburger, and many more margaritas than I'd like to admit (it's 5 o'clock somewhere right?). Everything was delicious, served hot, and the drinks were flavorful yet strong enough. Nothing on the lunch menu was too heavy, which was perfect because I like to digest my meal while relaxing in the pool. Verdict I'll definitely visit again. After telling us everything she mentioned that we actually wouldn't be able to do most of the outdoor activities because a film crew is on the property and those areas are off limits (like SERIOUSLY?!) We were surprised no one warned us about this prior, they knew we were coming for a few weeks. We would have moved our reservation to a different weekend. The manager directed us to a small near by town to "go explore" for the day. We were sooo disappointed. We came to explore your "resort" not a near by town... Food was good but the service was terrible. Most of the time we were the only people at the restaurant and the staff could not care less. Drinks served were smaller than a corporate cocktail hour, in small plastic event cup. Bartender couldn't make a simple soda and vodka properly. We were just looking at each other and shaking our heads. This place has so much potential, it's poorly run and I wouldn't come back for a getaway. This might only be a venue for a large event but after our experience I'm not sure I would recommend it to my clients. P. S. Manager said she would adjust our rate for the weekend and that never happened. No one checked to see how our experience went after the visit. Do not recommend. There are better options around Atl for a getaway. 3/10
