Absolutely DISGISTING false advertising and predatory behavior. They advertise a FREE first visit for pregnant women (this is Eric's wife writing the review) including a massage. There are other chiropractors in the TV that also offer a free first visit as advertising so not weird. They follow up 8 or 9 times to make sure you have all your paperwork filled out and will make it to the appointment on time, BUT when you arrive they charge $147 and change for this "free" appointment. I had to change my work schedule, get a babysitter, miss my daughter's soccer game, waste over an hour of my time driving back and forth, and wasted gas because of UNETHICAL business practices. I highly recommend entering a free massage and chiropractic appointment raffle at a Crunch location or buying a Groupon to Northside Chiropractic as they aren't a scam and the Dr's there are wonderful. I was promptly shown the door and told not to make a scene when I said I wouldn't be paying $147 for a 20 minute consultation that wouldn't even be including xrays (I'm pregnant!!) And that they were false advertising and that makes them liars. No wonder there were 5 staff members just standing around and NO clients. Took my 4 weeks old baby here today. He has bad reflux and over the weekend refused to sleep because he was uncomfortable with his stomach. I called this morning out of desperation for help to get my child to sleep. They made me an appointment same day (5:30 pm) and I asked to be put on the cancellation list if anyone cancels earlier. They got me moved up to 3:30!!! Went in and everyone was so nice. The place is very comfortable and my son had a great chiropractic appointment. The doctor explained everything he was doing to him & I felt very confident in his experience. My son has now been sleeping since I brought him home so about 2.5 hours and I'm so grateful. I'll continue to bring him in as long as they recommend because of how wonderful and helpful they were today. read more

My almost 2 year old has had chronic ear infections since she was 8 months old. She has been put on antibiotics every 2-3 months for puss in her ears for the last year. Well last week I took her to the Highland Chiropractor and it was said she had fluid in one ear and redness in the other. After obtaining scans Dr. Ogle was so patient and kind with her and got her relaxed enough to actually be able to adjust her C1. We went back 3 days later and he adjusted her again with ease. The following day, we went to her doctor appt and there was no more fluid or redness in her ears!!! We are so happy that chiropractic treatment worked for our daughter as well as it does for us. We're grateful for the team at Highland Chiropractic and will continue to trust this team with not only our care but our daughters as well. read more

I made an appointment through text message for my 7 year old son who was in severe ear pain. I expressed that I had a 7 year old and asked if my insurance (Select Health) was in network. They responded with yes. I show up to the appointment with my son is extreme pain and at that time was told my insurance doesn't cover chiropractic care for anyone under 9 years old and I would be treated as a cash patient. I expected to pay $20 (my copay) and ended up paying almost $200! I went ahead with the appointment because I was willing to try anything to get my child out of pain. I called my insurance and they said there is no age restriction per my plan and that it is in fact covered. I call Highland Chiropractic to tell them and they say they will not even bill it because "it is never covered for anyone under 9." Even after telling them I called my insurance and they said it would be covered and again asked for them to just bill it and see what happens. They said they would not bill it and completely refused! I said I was told you were in network with my insurance for my 7 year old son through a text and their response was that person who scheduled me was new and she didn't know what she was doing. I then took my son to another chiropractor who personally called Select Health to verify my insurance and spent 45 minutes on the phone with them to verify. My son has since gone there numerous times and I have paid my $20 copay! I then decided to bill my insurance for the original visit to Highland Chiropractic and as expected it was covered and my insurance paid it!! Complete laziness and disregard for patients at this place! I call Highland Chiropractic to tell them it was covered by my insurance and I wanted them to pay me back the unpaid insurance payment I made. They told me to tear up my insurance check and they would now bill it for me!! Unbelievable that now they are willing to bill it. I told them I don't believe they will bill it since they never did before and I'm not going to tear up a check I actually did get from insurance. I just wanted them to pay me back the unpaid insurance amount since I did pay them $200! They refused to pay me and told me I'm sorry you feel that way and marked my case as closed! Highland Chiropractic has terrible customer service. The front desk and billing people are rude and lazy with billing patients insurance. No care for patients in pain and discomfort and are only after money since they get paid more for cash patients than insurance patients. I would give this place zero stars and stay far far away from them! They have wasted so much of my time and are a terrible business! read more

We have been coming to highland for about 4 years! We have had both of our girls treated here as babies after delivery and issues with spit up, which I can tell made a huge difference for both of them. My husband and I get regular adjustments with Dr. Ogle and he's a cool guy, very down to earth and loves what he does. I searched for a great pediatrics chiropractor for my son. After reading a lot of reviews on various platforms, I decided to see Dr. Ogle at Highland Chiropractic. The care I got there was mostly fantastic. We did end up having to wait over an hour to be seen, but that was because one of their intake machines died. I understand technical difficulties - this was not their fault. My son was very nervous and everyone was more than patient with him and very kind. The 1 star rating is because despite there being a mask order in Ada County due to Covid-19, not a single employee there was wearing a mask - not the 2 receptionists, not the person handling my son's intake assessment, not any of the chiropractors, physical therapists, or other staff I saw there. There were no plexiglass barriers at the reception desk either. I understand people having personal freedom and not wanting to wear a mask, but I certainly expect healthcare professionals to be wearing masks. I decided to go through with the appointment because my son needed care. But I called and explained that I would not be returning because they were violating the county mask order. I got an email back - they said they understood - they made no attempt to offer to wear a mask during treatment. The problem is that their decisions can still affect me if their negligence contributes to community spread. So three days after their email response, I decided to write this review to let others know they aren't wearing masks. I wish I had known before I visited so that I could have avoided that uncomfortable decision as I navigated the best choice for my son's health the day. I would really love to return with my son there - they took great care of him. But I cannot ignore their complete disrespect for the law. I don't trust their judgment. If no masks don't bother you, then you'll probably like this place just fine. For me, I will find a place that does follow the mask order. read more

Super impressed with Casey on intake, X-rays, insurance etc. Efficient, but took time to get full background and context to initial visit. Snazzy office and impressed I got full xray, stress test etc... Dr. Indiek has a calming thorough nature about him. Overall I was several years without goin to Chiropractor and had just had a rib pop out from basketball and he got me back up and runnin in 1 visit. They will charge you a cancellation fee even when you have been told to quarantine due to having Covid. Please tell me how people can prepare to be sick I for one have never been able to and working in doctor offices myself we have never charge this fee if someone is sick. So if you want a place that cares about the health of you or others don't come here cause people are more then likely to come sick then cancel and get a fee!!!!!! read more

I was wondering why this guy only had three stars - then I checked the "not recommended" reviews" and realized they, too, are glowing recommendations but the people who wrote them didn't give them a star rating so it shows as a 0 star! Make sure to hit those stars, people! I went to this on a recommendation from a friend. And another friend. And another. He was highly recommended and covered by insurance. So I gave him a call. The girl at the front desk, Courtney, was super friendly and got me set up with an appointment the next day. When I arrived, I found a small but welcoming front office. Courtney was as pleasant in person as she was on the phone. She got me all checked in and ushered me into the exam room where I got a cool gaping-back medical gown to change into. The reason for this became apparent as Dr. Ogle came in and introduced himself. He ran his little sensor thing down my spine and the screen popped up with my trouble areas. Then we did x-rays, after which I laid down on the exam table and upon first contact he was pretty much able to tell where I was sensitive despite the scans not showing those spots. The exam was comprehensive. Then we went to the adjustment room and he gave me a light adjustment. It wasn't nearly the adjusting I was used to, but I think he was being gentle since they have no way of knowing what you're used to and what your body can handle. He wanted to go over my xrays and for me to come in again the next day. As I was leaving, Courtney gave me a welcome gift - a tea mug with a spoon, two movie tickets and Highland Chiro schwag! How sweet! A couple days later, I received a handwritten thank you card from Dr. Ogle. This place is awesome. The people are amazing. The care is second to none. I've established regular care here, and brought my 4-year-old daughter as well. I'll review her experience in the update! read more

Before coming to Highland Chiropractic, I had never had an adjustment that I felt made a difference. I had been to a few different chiropractors, but it seemed like they were never helpful, and they tried to push supplements and other products on me, as well as using fear tactics to keep me coming in. Highland chiropractic is a completely different vibe. Everyone is completely friendly, from the front desk to the doctors. I truly feel like I am cared about and that the doctors want to help me, and not just have me come in frequently. They never push products or supplements, either. When I first visited, my back was in so much pain that I could barely move. Transitioning from sitting to standing was nearly impossible. Good: Dr Peterson and Ogle are both great chiropractors! They do great adjustments, super friendly and easy to get along with. Bad: Sadly, the bad outweighed the good for us. I was nervous because the biggest complaints were with billing. So I watched our billing closely. When it was just be, billing was fine. When my spouse started, something wonky happened. I paid each visit but one day, they told me that I was like $12 behind. That didn't make sense when our copay was $4 and I paid every visit and I had only had 3-4 visits and my partner only had 1-2 and we had been paying the $8 each time. I finished my visits and my spouse went in again to be told again that we were another $17 behind. So it got paid again. $40 may not seem like a lot but when you are on maternity leave and your spouse is going due to a bad car accident..... so I called and the girl I talked to was confused, couldn't explain anything and was rude. I asked to speak to Dr Ogle because of the billing and another issue. She told me that he probably wouldn't be able to call me back that day because it was already like 3 and he had patients. I told her I expected that and it isn't a problem. But I needed to figure this stuff out. I think that was like 4 weeks ago..... the other problem is that I told them I didn't want to see a certain chiro and they told me okay. Well Peterson went on vacation or an emergency or something and was gone so we got put with her. I decided to give her a shot and I HURT afterwards so I did get seen by Ogle and he relieved some of the pain but definitely still had a LOT well to find out, the adjustment was so rough, it caused a strain in my neck. I ended up in severe pain for weeks and with a brand new baby, it was horrible. So I wanted to let him know and see if more visits got approved so I could see Peterson again and get my neck back in order and the billing fixed but I haven't been able to do any because I can't get ahold of anybody to work it all out... to say the least, I went from loving highland to being pretty upset. But I don't think Ogle (the owner) even knows because the staff isnt telling him. I would be happy to change this review if we can figure out how to deal with all this and get it straightened out. But I don't know how else to reach the owner if no one will pass on the word. read more

I love the doctors here, so if you don't care about paying up the ass for good care, then go here. However, my one star is due to their incompetent front desk staff. First off, they are all young, which wouldn't be a big deal if they knew what they were doing. The new year of my deductible started over at the beginning of April. However, I had met my chiropractic limits in March. I am only finding this out a MONTH LATER! They knew that my copayment went up 4x the amount, since my last visit and did not tell me UNTIL I was checking out today. This is horrible customer service! I am extremely disappointed in how their office is ran. Most of their staff is too busy texting on their phones to even engage in the patients. If they cared at all about the patients, they would be letting them know their copay had changed BEFORE their visit. I just paid full price for FOUR ten minute visit. I will not be going back. I have never been to a chiropractors office that didn't tell me how many sessions and I had left on my deductible or when my payments were going up. Front desk staff needs to be fired, fast. They just kept making excuses to why they did not tell me my price had changed, instead of taking responsibility for being incompetent and lacking patient care. read more

I've been to Highland Chiropractic for a few visits, I sought them out because they specialize in maternity adjustments, and always felt okay after Dr. Ogle adjusted me. I saw a different doctor when I went in yesterday. I ended up with much more pain last night and today than I had before I went in, which is not normal for me after an adjustment. I called today to see if I could come back for another adjustment, to correct whatever was done yesterday, which of course they were willing to do...but I would have to pay to correct the issue that was caused by their adjustment. Not a great business model. I would recommend seeking other chiropractic care if you don't want to pay to correct someone else's mistake or be stuck in pain. **Update- When I originally called to make my issue known the receptionist, in so many words, told me "too bad" and happily cancelled the rest of my appointments. A couple of hours after posting the review I got a call from the same receptionist saying that she just so happened to be unaware of a policy that pertained perfectly to my situation. Apparently if another doctor adjusts you and "it doesn't stick" then Dr. Ogle will see you again to correct the issue at no charge if you report it within 24 hours. Their 24 hour guarantee, she called it. At that point I had already seen a chiropractor at another practice to have the issue corrected so I didn't bother. The next morning Dr. Ogle personally called to check in. While I do appreciate Dr. Ogle's efforts to correct the issue it's unfortunate that I had to resort to a negative review for that to happen (as I don't believe the receptionist would have passed my concerns along). I did really like seeing Dr. Ogle and felt better after his adjustments. However, because I was never asked if I was okay being scheduled with another provider and his receptionist made it clear that she doesn't value his patients I will probably not return. Dr. Ogle seems like a great guy and good chiropractor. It's too bad that some of his staff don't quite measure up and can ruin the experience. read more

I'm not sure what I did to my back, but I was in a lot of pain, and had to hobble bent over, couldn't walk upright. Within just a couple of visits, I feel like a whole new person! Dr. Ogle is amazing! I suffered from random bouts of vertigo for a few years and I went to many different chiropractors but nothing changed. Dr. Ogle was the first chiropractor that didn't make me feel like my head was going to be twisted off when getting adjusted. He is very specific and very gentle and willing to do what it takes to figure out how to help you. I have had a substantial drop in episodes of vertigo. First of all, I'll start off by saying that my life has been changed for the better. I've suffered from back pain for the past 7 years. I've been to many different Chiropractors in the Treasure Valley, and Highland Chiropractic has changed my life! Dr. Ogle really took the time to understand the pain I was going through, and didn't just adjust me and send me on my way. He would adjust me, help me understand what was going on, explain how to stretch properly, proper posture, and made sure that I truly felt better before leaving. I work in an office, and sit most of the day. He gave me great advise as to what to do while I am at work for the pain. With my situation, I knew he truly cared about my well being. He was real honest and upfront, and suggested I get an MRI to make sure we knew exactly what was going on with my pain. He didn't want to just keep adjusting and adjusting without knowing what was truly going on in my back. After getting my results, we found out that there was a tear in a few of my discs causing all the pain. If it weren't for Dr. Ogle making an effort and reaching out to get me scheduled for that MRI, or properly adjusting me and educating me oh how to maintain a healthy back, I would still be at square one.
