First off front staff is GREAT! Secondly my chiropractor has been treating me and my 15 yr old son AND hosts educational classes for free. Dr. Baxter is an awesome chiropractor and I highly recommend him and/or the entire office! ALSO Theresa the massage therapist is AMAZING! Deep massage that was very 'therapeutic' (painful) but I left her feeling incredible and I look forward to seeing her again. Terrible chiropractors and they are way overpriced!!! Don't waste your time or money!!!!

This is a long review but I promise it is worth the read if seriously considering Better Life Chiropractic. When I first found Better Life Chiropractic I had been injured and was looking for a readjustment or some kind of treatment. I was stuck in bed with severe nerve pain. Of course this happened on a Friday when I decided I couldn't handle the pain and need to find treatment. Better Life was the only place in the area that was open on a Friday that could fit me in same day, at the time. The responsiveness was great and everyone there seemed very friendly! They did tests and X-rays and made a treatment plan with me. They said I had really good insurance so it shouldn't be too much out of pocket. I met with an amazing Chiropractor who was really interested in not only treating my injury but other areas of my body that couldn't keep up with my active lifestyle. Better Life didn't get the amount of money they wanted out of my insurance so they decided to bill my insurance and bill me out of pocket. Over a $1000 out of pocket alone. But with my injury and having a great chiropractor that was helping, I didn't mind the cost at the time. Even if it was wrong for them to charge me and my insurance, I was getting the help I needed. Then my chiropractor left the business. Without notifying me before my appointment, they put me with a different chiropractor. This chiropractor made unprofessional and unwanted moves at me. Even going as far to put unprofessional comments in my medical chart and touching me inappropriately when not adjusting me. I told the front desk to never book me with this chiropractor again. They did a really good job at that. I didn't tell them why at first because I was in shock that it really happened. Later when I went back to write a formal complaint they assured me he is no longer with the business and they wouldn't be giving me his name or credentials to write a complaint. I moved on because I was almost done with treatment. I got paired with a third chiropractor who wasn't terrible but okay. At least he wasn't inappropriate. When I was notified I was all up to date on my payment plan and I owed no more, I didn't go back. It wasn't until a year later I received a call that they hired a new financial person that went back and changed everyone's past bills because their old hire screwed up. I told them that I was informed I was all paid out and it is illegal for them to do this. They were firm on trying to get a few more hundred dollars out of me. I am a broke college student. In fear of being sent to collections because I worked hard on my credit score and have no late payments, I paid them. I told them to send me a documented receipt that I was all paid out and that they will never be seeing me again. They don't care about you as a patient and your wellbeing. They care about themselves as a company at the cost of you. I was taken advantage of financially and physically at Better Life Chiropractic. I would never recommend to anyone. read more

Horible chiropractic care. I went in for both 60 minute massage and re-ajustment. The 60 minute back massage was absolutely awful. The massage therapist was not gentle nor considerate to listen to a patient about quality of their massage or discomfort of client/ patient. Left the office with back pain and also went home with worse back pain then I came in from the massage. The adjustment was decent. The massage was the worst part of the appointment. I used to enjoy going to better life chiropractic, but now I nolonger do, especially where they have massage therapists that don't listen to patients. This is why I don't recommend better life chiropractic. read more

Please DO NOT go to this practice. I received a "complementary" appointment including X-rays and health info. After taking the X-rays etc, I was scheduled for another appointment to review my results. But the doctor started the appointment with a "excel" spreadsheet, which he patted himself on the back for, showing how I can get treatments for a year at $2,000 + when I have a $10 copay per treatment and would spend less than $200 for the same service. I told the doctor up front that I should have canceled my "complementary" appointment since the practice was not part of my network, but I was assured that they had ways of helping me pay for my treatments. Which the "doctor" explained to me. After the sales pitch, he matter of factly said, since you are here get on the table and I will give you a treatment before you go and dumb me didn't even realize it was extra. It is a really poor way to help people who are in pain. I am now looking for a real doctor in network. I am just sad that the doctor's office that had endorsed and recommended this practice is affiliated with better life used car sales aka better life chiropractic. read more

I had a consultation today to talk to Dr Strickland. First of all, he was rude and interrupted me several times as I was trying to explain my reasons for coming! The primary reason for my visit was to ask about soft wave therapy for my knee . When I asked the doctor what the cost is per treatment , he replied that it is $300 for one simple treatment . This cost is approximately 3 times more than what other local providers charge! That being said, if you happen to be very wealthy and don't mind paying an outrageous amount for this treatment , by all means see this doctor . However if you would rather avoid being ripped off by this SHYSTER, care enough about yourself to call a different chiropractor!! read more

The office staff is nice , and the chiropractor do a good job ! The only reason I gave them a bad review is because of lack of good communication . I asked the Doctor about a pillow that he would recommend and he said they have one that they sell ! I asked if it doesn't work , can I return it ! I was told yes , and they had someone return it ! At first I liked it and even got one for my sister -in-law to try. But She used it only for a week and on my next appointment , I tried to return both pillows ! ONLY to get told I can't , since we used them ! Well, that was not mentioned in the beginning, and how would I know if it doesn't work for us , if we don't try it ! And I had to take a loss of $120 ... that is so wrong ! So be careful when buying things and really confirm it and get it in writing . Bad communication skills . I had injured my neck and shoulder doing a construction cleaning and had this burning pain. My friend told me to go see her husband Dr. Price. I was able to get an appt. For the next day and Dr. Price did a super thorough exam that included detailed questions, scans, and X-rays. He then explained everything that was going on, not just with my neck but my hips and shoulder as well. I felt amazing when I left after my adjustment and can't wait to go back for more adjustments to get my body feeling great again!!! The whole staff is super friendly and the facility offers so much more than just chiropractic care. It's an entire wellness clinic! read more

A waste and scam, I went in looking for a new location for some preventive treatment. I ran into some of their staff members at a few events and was impressed by their friendliness. Once I finally got in, it turned out to be a sales scam. I was supposed to get an hour of treatments... what I got was 10 minutes of work, and 40 minutes of high pressure sales to buy crap. I went to a new patient appointment this week but I didn't make it past the waiting room. The screen in the lobby was playing chiropractic 'facts'. I stood there waiting for the receptionist and read, slide after slide, as they down played the safety and effectiveness of vaccines, as they highlighted harms while ignoring benefits, and finally, as they suggested chiorpractic care as a cure and preventer of the flu and other diseases. The slides referenced the Splanish flu of 1918. Upon personal research I could not find a single study that confirmed chiropractic is a suitable treatment or preventer of the cute. When I got to the counter I canceled my appointment. I don't support medical providers who spread vaccine skepticism. Ten years ago I was hospitalized for pneumonia that was a result of the flu. Last year, my husband's college friend died of the flu, leaving a young family behind. Telling people chiropractic care is a suitable alternative to vaccines is dangerous. As such, I will not be using this chiropractor. read more

Billing nightmare. During rehabilitation on my hand for reattached fingers that were cut off, I had back pain. I went to the Chiropractor for adjustments and the billing department coded my visits as "rehab" to squeeze the most they can out of the insurance. After which I receive a bill from my St Al's for 1000's of dollars instead of 72.00 because the Chiropractors billing dept took my last 2 rehab billing codes. I called Better life Chiropractic and asked them to re code just 2 visits that should go to St Al's and was assured they would without any problems. Next month I called again but the billing dept was working remote from home, Message left and assured that it would be handled. 3rd time was a surprise! They have no Idea what happened but would handle it as soon as possible. That was December I just paid the rest of 1382.00 for the 2 rehab visits that should have been covered less 72.00 by insurance but were not because I got the run around from the billing department at Better Life Chiropractic. Update 2/10/2021 Since my google review I have received A LOT of attention from the billing department. I tell them to not bother due to the fact I had to pay the St Al's bill that should have had the rehab coding by the insurance that their office used up. Like I said above I tried to get updates from better life chiropractic a numerous times and was assured a call back the same day. I did not get any follow up regarding their billing issue until after my review went live. Now they wont leave me alone to the point of harassment. I have been going here for a few months now and I couldn't be more grateful for Better Life! I heard about this place through a few friends and they had a deal for a decently cheap first exam. I expected nothing to be wrong with me because I wasn't in consistent pain, but after a thorough exam (including E-rays, nervous system scans, etc.) discovered I have more wrong with me than I thought! After talking through payment and getting on the same page about everything, I decided to go through with the treatment. After a few months, I feel like a new person! Not only has my body stopped hurting when doing some activities, I have noticed a change in my emotional and mental health as well! The staff here is so wonderful, kind, and insightful. Dr. Baxter has really improved my life. I went in for shoulder pain and came to found I had a lot more issues I didn't even realize existed. Problems I lived with most of my life that I had just learned to accept and deal with; I had no idea they could even get fixed. While I think Dr. Price is amazing, their front desk staff not so much. The whole staff turns over every 6 months or so so no one has a clue. I over paid them several times just to not deal with the hassle when they told me I owed them money, although I paid at every visit. Today when I was there, they told me that again, offered horrible customer service and the billing person was exceptionally snippy (maybe thinking I couldn't hear her?). While I'm extraordinarily happy with Dr. Price and have recommended him to many people, I just can't deal with the incompetence of the front office. Lucky for me I received a free chair massage and received for the free coupon visits over here. The day prior to my first appointment I ended up hurting my back. I came in and after my first week (three adjustments visits) my back felt much better. I was moving around without pain and had more mobility than prior to my injury. read more

Never mind that I received two reminders that my appointment was with him and no mention that I would be expected to see a different doctor who I have never met.
