The Meeks guy tells us we need a new compressor a new main board and new valves all which will require us to pay labor for, rather than wanting to even talk about the 10 year warranty on our unit... I called Michael here at Shack and he had Evan over here as soon as possible, honestly. Evan within a short while correctly diagnosed the real problem and was able to find a simple mistake made by the Meeks technician who installed our unit. Evan quickly resolved the problem and got our unit working without having to replace any parts or do any further work. Shack HVAC saved our family several hundred dollars if not more over another local company who was going to try to take advantage of us. Shack HVAC saved the day!! And they were honestly more overall professional and thorough with their customer service and how they approached the whole situation. Cabinet doors were not completely painted. Paint was dumped and washed on my driveway and still there with a white spot on my driveway. Several door hinges got paint in them. It was so bad David gave me a refund on the job. Poor quality work. I had to finish the job and cover up his mistakes. I can not recommend him or his team.
