I contracted with a roofer, and when they came to do the work, it turns out the walls were not completed properly: there is no plywood nor wall wrap in the leaking areas (which is itemized on my contract with Tri Star). I contacted Tri Star to come and redo the work, even sent pictures of the problem areas, and called to make sure they received the photos. That was on March 12, and I have not heard back. Additionally, they took almost four times as long as estimated to do the work. And even then, the work was not completed as contracted, and I have now paid Tri Star more than $10000, and my walls still leak, and the work I have paid them to do is being damaged because the work was not done correctly. We got to work with some great project managers and laborers. Very impressed with their crews and workmanship. Troy took the extra effort to make sure that we were totally satisfied with the job and they have a great back office to communicate on scheduling and expectations. I highly recommend TriStar and their GEM products. Best company and materials on the market. The house looks great and neighbors are always asking about the roof.
