I had the most fabulous facial today. This is a one woman shop & she's been open since last May…read more Her suite is tucked away in the back & is an inside unit, which is perfect for helping you relax & be present for this amazing facial. One of the first things I noticed was how warm & inviting she was. Super nice & clearly had a passion for what she was doing. One of the other things I noticed was this really cool & relaxing light display she had that shone on the wall & the ceiling. It was one of those details that could be totally overlooked but she clearly put thought into it & it made a difference. It really added to the relaxing vibe of the suite. She asked about allergies & made sure the products she was using wouldn't cause a reaction. She asked if I wanted updates about what she was doing &/or why, or if I simply wanted to zen/chill out. I opted for the latter, I definitely needed the zen, & I can say confidently it was needed. I even fell asleep a handful of times. To me, that is a sign of absolute zen but also trust. Even though she's amongst other single room salons, she too, every precaution to make sure the room remained as quiet, dark, & relaxed as possible. She had this high vibration music playing that added greatly to the relaxation of the whole appointment. We did the LED facial & it was really cool. Totally loved it. Something else that she did, which I really appreciated was when she was allowing the mask & LED light to do its magic, she didn't just massage my hands & forearms. Oh no! She massaged them, wrapped them, & then added heated muffs (mittens?). Whatever it was, it was magic. But she didn't just stop with the hands. She did the feet too & added the heated muffs. (Mittens?) to my feet too. Boy oh boy was it amazing. One other thing I appreciated. She has products available for purchase but never once did she push. They were available if I wanted or had questions. I absolutely love when the product is available but there isn't a push or a "you must have this because of X, Y, & Z." My skin looked awesome & I was totally relaxed. I would highly recommend booking an appointment for yourself, your friends, your family, EVERYONE! I will definitely make a trip back to see her. Treat yo self.

Skoah is different than other facial spas, they treat the facial like a workout (not to get sweaty, sore, and gross), where you pop in to see your face coach and leave refreshed. When you enter you'll be taken back to your room- everything is very clean and simple. The bed was heated with a pillow for under my legs and a plush duvet on top. Kelcey did a great job- she talked to me about the products she was putting on my face and what they were for- I would highly recommend booking with her- she even had the full list ready for me when I left in case I wanted to look back on some of what we talked about. The minty mask felt SO good- 2 hours out and my skin still has that just washed it fresh feeling. They also like to make cocktails out of other masks- and everything smells delicious and is plant based so you know good stuff is going on you. She packed on the dewlux face kream which felt AMAZING and I left glowing (and with a take home complimentary chapstick- nice touch!). I bought several products to try out at home. As with most places they have a membership program - not sure that I'll sign up but this place is great for a quick face refresh and I'm really excited to dig into my new products.
