Bob, THE Abington Handyman, left my home today and I must say, he has EARNED a loyal customer. I…read morehad to open a hole in a bathroom ceiling so a plumber could make a repair, I contacted Bob to simply patch the hole. When he saw the location and size of the hole and age of the house, he suggested redoing the entire ceiling (which I am glad we did!) he quoted me a price to do the entire job, and even let me lower the price by allowing me to do the demo and painting myself. Once I had opened up the entire ceiling, I found a joist that seriously concerned me, it had been poorly notched for a drain line, and was beginning to crack... Bob easily and professionally sistered the joist, to reenforce the structural integrity of the ceiling, and even repaired the masonry in the wall. Even with the extra work the job was done ahead of schedule and under budget! The quality of the work is second to none and Bob is great at maintaining constant communication. There was never a point at which I did not know what was going on. I could not be happier.

I tried a recommendation from a friend and this contractor delayed getting back to me for a week (after saying he'd call that night) and then said he didn't have time (I think because he thought the job was too small). I called Charlie of CG Meyers, and he was prompt to get back to me within minutes and even was able to get me a very reasonable estimate that night. Charlie fit me into his schedule within a week. Upon arriving, we discussed the projects thoroughly again to make sure I was satisfied with the plan. The two jobs were completed in a few hours and when Charlie was done, he cleaned the area thoroughly. I was, my wife was as well, completely satisfied with his work. In the long run, the other handyman service and a previous one I used before didn't realize they were on a tryout for larger jobs in the future that my wife and I have planned. They lost out on the $$$$. I plan to use Charlie for all future jobs due to he's professionalism, pride in his work and his overall friendly personality.

Our only regret in hiring John Brady with Brady Property Services is that we didn't find and hire…read morehim sooner. John gave us a competitive estimate in mid-2022 to renovate a hallway and half bath - a project delayed by budgets and the pandemic for about 4+ years. We set a start date of early January 2023 and John began his work. We found John and his colleague to be extremely professional, prompt and thoughtful in their work. What's more - John asked questions and verified details with us as he went. There was no assuming what we might want, and he offered helpful ideas and recommendations. Working in a fairly tight space, John and his colleague were respectful of the fact that I work from home and, although construction noise is unavoidable when tearing down walls and what have you, they were not intrusive or blasting loud music as they worked. I sincerely appreciated their professional manner and dress because my mother lives with us and I am keenly aware of how strangers in the house might make her feel uncomfortable. They were so polite and respectful of her and my family. That cannot be said of all contractors. Now, the work quality: I'd rate it excellent or better. John took great care to ensure the quality of the work and materials would meet or exceed our expectations. He even found a better solution for some cabinets for us that matched the style we wanted without impacting the budget. The drywall work was excellent. He managed to match and/or mirror some intricate moldings to exactly what we hoped for. John also stayed late once or twice because he wanted to make sure the quality of the work was also up to his high standards. Prior to hiring John, we had another company work on a basement renovation. The comparison was like night and day. The company handling the basement took too long, cost too much and the quality of both the work and the workers was not good. Brady Property Services was a study in contrasts with John's work completed in a timely manner, staying within a reasonable budget and producing outstanding quality in the work itself. We have more projects to complete, and John will now be our first call for all of them. I highly recommend him.

Wayne Earp went way beyond what we hired him to do, and he did the work beautifully, efficiently,…read moreand for a VERY reasonable rate. Wayne worked around an almost impossible situation: We had just moved into our house, and the original contractor we had hired to paint the entire interior of the house 'copped out' on us midway through the job. The house was packed to the ceiling with unopened boxes, all very heavily packed. Wayne stepped in, and he and his team spent long hours to get the place completely painted in a timely manner, as quickly as possible, as I am allergic to all paints. While staying at my sister's during the painting work, I developed the flu and could not return to the house after the painting was completed. Without being asked, Wayne FED OUR CAT AND SHOVELED OUR SNOW from our walkway, not only on the days he was working at the house but even AFTER he had completed the job, knowing that I was still sick and at my sister's! The painting job is a work of art. Also, we hired Wayne to do a lot of attaching fixtures to walls, and he worked on installing new plumbing fixtures and a slider door on the shower stall. Wayne also realized that we did not have a proper gutter on the front of our house, and he did a beautiful job installing one for us. ALL of the work he did was done in a very timely manner and was professionally done. The man is a dynamo! And so very honest, sincere, and trustworthy. Wayne Earp will be doing more work for us in the springtime, on outside needs. Connie and Tom
