My garbage disposal stopped working, so I went through my home warranty company and was assigned HighEnd Plumbing Services. They gave me a 1-5 PM arrival window but I mentioned that 3-5 PM would be the time I would be home. I planned my day around that. By 5:30 PM, no one had shown up and I hadn't received any updates. I had to call just to find out what was going on, and only then was I told they could come around 6:30-7 PM. A simple text or call with an update would have been nice. I received a "we're on the way" text at 6:15 PM, and they finally arrived around 6:35 PM. The plumber spent maybe 10 minutes looking at the disposal and claimed there was a plastic sheath stuck inside, saying it would not be covered under warranty. I asked him to take a picture for proof, and he said he couldn't. If I can't see any evidence, I'm not going to just take that at face value. Once they left, I immediately called my home warranty company back and requested a second opinion. The second plumber came out, fixed the issue in about 20 minutes, and confirmed there was nothing stuck in the disposal. So HighEnd Plumbing Services was late, misdiagnosed the issue, and tried to pass it off as something not covered under warranty without any proof. Based on that, I wouldn't recommend them. read more

Very professional and helpful! We have used Art at HighEnd plumbing for plumbing work at two houses, and he has always done a good job. He fixed a lot of kitchen plumbing at one house in the Hollywood Hills and last week we had big drain issues at our house in Sherman Oaks and we called Art and he came out very quickly and fixed the problem, and then assessed the drains under the house and going out of the house and explained that they had been done poorly by a handyman. He and his associate spent several hours in the crawl space fixing the problem and when we needed him to come back to patch a vent cover going into the crawl space he came back and fixed it well, so that rodents could not get under the house. His prices were fair for this work, as I have done a lot of remodeling on other properties and the prices from HighEnd were very reasonable.
