This is the only post office in the Wycombe area in which you can purchase car tax. The queues can be as long as right across the walkway of the Chiltern centre. I am disgusted by the attitude of the staff at this post office. They were very rude and unhelpful to my husband when he attempted to collect a parcel for me which had been sent for my birthday. He had the parcel force card which was put through our letterbox, and three forms of ID, a credit card, a bill, and even his photo ID from work, but the staff said he needed more ID, something with my name on? We have been married for 30 years, so have the same surname strangely enough!!?? They wouldn't even speak to me on the phone to confirm he was collecting it on my behalf?? I was so upset that he had walked there for nothing, and they refused to help in any way. He has collected parcels several times before at other post offices, and never had a problem. Not a nice helpful place. The staff are rude and can't count properly. Most don't know what they are doing and the sensible ones later leave for jobs in the bakers or bank. The queues are dreadful at most times of the year and the chairs look nasty. The floor, table-tops and screens could do with a good clean too. It is a disgrace that this particular branch is the main post office. There are better local ones which deserve the title more. A post office to be avoided if one can manage. read more
