The worst experience I have ever had in filing taxes, and I strongly urge you not to file your…read moretaxes with H & A Tax Services. Unprofessional treatment and horrible services which includes refusing to answer my phone calls, emails, and in-person contact. Background: I paid for my 2023 Tax Return and Jack electronically filed my 2023 Tax Return on March 15, 2024. As of October 4, 2024, I have not received my refund. Eventually after many failed attempts to reach Jack, including visiting his office, and calling his office multiple times, when he answered the phone he did not tell me the reason as to what the issue is. Only that since this electronic file "failed", Jack would "mail" the tax return. On July 8, 2024, Jack told me he "mailed it" but refused to provide any tracking number. However, as of October 4, 2024, the IRS has no record of any sort of "mailed tax return". As of today, any attempt to contact Jack or his office fails. I have filed my taxes for years and have never had any issues before. This is a horrible experience and I urge you to reconsider Jack and H & A Tax Services for your tax filing purposes. I now have to pay out of pocket a second time for a more competent tax specialist to re-file my 2023 taxes and deal with penalties for the failed filing by Jack. Jack has refused to refund me for this inconvenience.

I want to preface this by saying that the only reason I gave this business an opportunity was…read morebecause my father knows the man who works here. My review might be a bit long but it's detailed. This office seems to do a few things like : travel arrangements, taxes, law office etc. I personally stopped by with girlfriend on a Monday evening and met with Fernando. I wrote down the dates I planned on traveling, the amount of people and the location and airport code. He said " I'll have an answer for you in 1-2 days at the latest". Three days go by and I haven't hears from him so I take sometime off of work to drive by and see him in person and a younger gentleman with glasses comes out and tells me he is busy but that I'll get a call no later than end of day that day - of course I didn't. My dad then asks me if I heard back from them and I told him the story - he takes it upon himself to call the guy and ask what was up. He tells my dad that he got a quote and gave him the information. The quote was for half the price listed on the airlines website so that raised a red flag and I immediately came to the conclusion that he probably didn't look up the right island so I called again the following day and a young lady answered. I asked for Fernando once again and was told he was busy and that I'd get a call from him later that day - I mentioned that I was told the same thing the day before and never got a call but she assured me that I would ( I wasn't going to hold my breath). 8 days later I finally get him on the phone just to get confirmation that he did quote the wrong island and that he can't help me. The price on the airlines website went up 100$ per person (we have 11 people traveling) so now he cost us an extra 1100$ for delaying us assuming he would be able to quote properly and in a timely manner. Makes me wonder how bad the other services are that they provide.
