Every Dr I've told to switch my prescriptions to High Street Pharmacy reacts the same. They hate dealing with big chains. My pediatrician told me outright she LOVES High Street! And for good reason - I'm not saying a big chain doesn't care if you live or die but I couldn't get my Dad off auto messages that came to me because they said I wasn't him, but he died so he couldn't do it and we went around. After almost 2 years of blocking their rolling back lines they took the hint.
After a big chain pharm mess up my 96yo grandfather's medication several times I threatened to go elsewhere not realizing they had gobbled up all the competition. We welcome monster corporations because they have fancy blood pressure machines (that rarely work) and give us $1 off coupons (for things we don't need). They churn low wage employees who don't remember us, even though that was last week and we didn't realize it's a new crew again. We put independent shops out of business and then complain downtown is vacant.
Stop the madness! High Street Pharmacy took a big chance that great customer service was better than getting coupons. I'm remembered, my Grandpa's ailments are remembered and my daughter knows it's a safe spot. They don't have an app but you'll get a real connection with a knowledgeable Pharmacist. Parking is around back so you'll get 100 steps in and can honestly tell your Dr. you exercised. Most importantly you'll be supporting a female owned small business and a Pharmacist who cares about your well-being! Or keep complaining
