My two favourites are the gluten‑free battered mushrooms with house sauce and the poutine -- both generous portions, the mini poutine fills me up. Food is made fresh to order and comes out hot. Simple ordering process you order from their food truck, which has a little sheltered interior. Typically I wait 7-15 mins for the food to be ready, theres also free condiments and seasoning that can be used, and there is a small outdoor picnic areas to sit. It's a nice spot to stop for lunch. Cons: Parking can be difficult during peak times. The food is on the expensive side, especially the gluten‑free menu (which I have to order from due to Celiac). The to‑go utensils are a bit flimsy 50% of the time the forks break, and the elastic bands use to hold the togo lids on broke on 2 out of 3 items I ordered, and one spilled my last trip, which was frustrating. (I'd get gravy on the side just next time). Sometimes the battered mushrooms have a fishy smell makes me believe they are using the same oil as the fish which i dont like, with the mushrooms being a vegetarian option. We sat down and the waitress greeted us immediately and gave us menus. We ordered two daily specials of the Halibut w/ garden salad, fries, and soup of the day ($14.95). For this price, the portions were super filling and well worth it. The halibut tasted super fresh and was fried perfectly. The fries, salad, and soup were a great touch too. The staff were super nice, and I saw many customers walking in and out for take out. It does seem like a busy spot for food. They also have other dishes as well besides fish and chips. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely come back and try out the other dishes!
